Not to mention, Kristina did all this while my husband and I were living in separate states for school and work, and she stayed with us through 2 postponements amid a global pandemic. During the day of the wedding, everything between the venue and all the vendors was perfectly coordinated. She was very attentive and constantly checked in with us to make sure everything was going well (which it always was because of her great planning). DJ Mike was also excellent. He took our selection of songs and added in ones that he knew we would also love. The music perfectly matched the vibe of the reception the whole night. A bunch of our guests also commented that the music was great. The photographers, Erick and Gia, were super fun to work with. They had great ideas for poses and seemed to always pop out of nowhere when we wanted a picture with guests. We’re super excited to see how all the pictures turn out.

I was shopping around. He made things easy for us as he coordinated with our wedding planner. His associate showed up on time on the day of the event and was exactly as described. The printer went down during the wedding, so after the event was over Michael printed a copy for each guest that was in each photo (~600+ photos) and overnighted them to us. We included them in our thank you letters and it ended up being perfect. Michael is truly a professional and really cares about the reputation of his business. Therefore, he will go above and beyond for your event. I would absolutely book him and his team in the future. Thanks again Michael.

When I tell you our wedding was perfect I mean it. I’m still in shock. Also Michael is an awesome DJ! He had the dance floor full all night. Our 3 favorite things 1. The portal is an amazing idea including the timeline which kept us organized and made everything run smoothly the day of the wedding. I loved that he made it so simple to share our playlist through Spotify. Loved how he kept us informed and was very attentive for our deadline which definitely pushed me since I’m such a procrastinator. At our reception the energy mood was so fun. The services provided and awesome talent that was from Dj Cali and her team that day wow amazing. Our guests loved all the music and I loved that they played all the songs we chose on our playlists and everything was exactly what we wanted to hear. Loved the kindness towards our guests if they had any request. Had their photo booth service too and that was the best decision as it was a total hit with our guests. The simplicity and awesome quality printing strips was so perfect. Guests were enjoying everything so much we had too book for an extra hour because it was that much fun. I just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all provided. Very professional kind helpful organized. His communication skills were stellar- both proactive and quick at responding. Michael is really on top of things. I had all the confidence in the world in him and his company for this upscale wedding reception. As an event planner I highly recommend Michael and his company Special Event DJz!

trying to be on such a tight budget. Special Event DJZ was the answer to my DJ needs!! They fit perfectly in my budget and I didn’t have to sacrifice any details. They were able to provide services for the ceremony and reception; including a projector screen for the reception as well as lighting and a photo booth for a phenomenal price. Simon was awesome!! He was very professional and easy to work with. He was always available to communicate conveniently through text and met with me to go over all the details. There were quite a few details too, as I had specific songs for everyone’s entrance into the reception, as well as unique and personal song selections for the ceremony. He made all my visions a reality and made my special day all that I could’ve hoped for.

how excited she is to work with him again. Both Michael and Max worked our wedding the day-of, and despite never having been to our venue, made the day flawless. They played energetic music that kept the crowd pumped! To top it off, we had an after party as well, and even though the venue told us we couldn't turn the lights out in the room, Michael got up on the chairs and manually switched each of them off so we could have the ambiance we wanted. Both Michael and Max made it such an amazing day - thank you to you both!
