he went to the car 10 minutes before the reception was to start. He said he was getting take from his car. I’ll let you make your own judgments on that one. Then after we were introduced he announced for my guests to go outside to get food. We were actually supposed to do toasts next, plus we were getting played food served to our guests at the table. Now my main reason for writing this review here is because this DJs excuse, which he wrote in response to my review, for not knowing my timeline was that I hired him 2 days before the wedding. I just cannot let that lie stand. We were married in October. We have an invoice from April that year which showed we paid our deposit and another from August showing we paid for his services in full. He was the one who requested to review our timeline with us 48 hrs in advance of the wedding, which we did. The schedule we made was clear and we emailed him a copy. His statement that we hired him two days prior to the wedding is ludicrous and insulting.

ere own food. Thank you for immediately correcting me and making sure I did it like you planned. There was no real reason for me to miss that and I truly apologize. I also remember going across the parking lot to get some tape out of my car for your photographer as I explained in my reply to your review in 2016. The photographer had the old lighting system that had the bulky cords. When I saw a kid running and almost trip over the cords I offered your photographer some tape to secure the cords and keep people from getting hurt. My car was originally by the ceremony & reception hall but the staff made me move my car all the way to the parking lot which was far away from the venue. I ran to my car found the tape and when I came back I even taped the cords down for her. On the contrary I am happy that you where pleased with my performance for your wedding ceremony and that your guest keep giving me compliments on how good and where shocked how packed the dance floor stayed all night. I was also hoping that you saw where I left my phone number and offered to give you partial refund for my mistake when I replied to your review. I do still at this moment hope that you and your husband are doing great and that your marriage is everything you dreamed it would be. I reached out about sending in the check only to be told three weeks out from my wedding day that they booked my date because they "thought we might have chosen another dj" which is a poor excuse for double booking my date. Any reputable business would have done their due diligence. In the very least they should have read my last email that stated we were booking them and sending payment--- and at the most had the decency to ask us in person before booking another couple. Instead they just assumed and canceled on us. If you wan't to assume this is a great vendor, then do so at your own risk. But be warned.

alled and messaged you several times to see if you wanted to use our services before booking my DJ with another client. I never heard back from you so yes, I did assume that you booked another DJ. Our DJ did get booked on your wedding date with another couple and I'm sorry that happened but I tried contacting you several times, before booking him for that date. 6 weeks had past & we still hadn't heard back from you, or received a deposit to secure the date, nor s signed contract. You first contacted me in March of 2017, but I never heard from you again until almost a year later. You missed our meeting on March 23rd 2018 and I messaged & called you the next day and asked if you would still like to use our services or reschedule our meeting, and you finally responded on May 1st 2018 and said this…
"I actually have something Friday, will Sunday work for you? We actually just planned on paying in full. We will send the check today. Have you booked us or do you need the check first?"
I then replied that our DJ had been booked but if you need a DJ I could still assist you in finding one. I quoted you $125 extra because when I first originally quoted you back in, March 2017, I gave you my personal DJ rate, so the cost was substantially lower. You told me you would like to book my other DJ, but you never sent in a deposit nor did you make the meeting we scheduled, or contact me back until several weeks later. I truly apologize for any inconvenience but I am still offering to have another DJ cover your wedding day. If you still need a DJ please give me a call. I did leave you a voicemail on May 2nd 2018 and today. If I can help please call or email me at anytime. Spin It Live goes above and beyond any other DJ service to make sure our brides, grooms, family & friends have the best wedding DJ experience ever. Please let me know if I can do anything to make it easier on you.

Spin It Live did an amazing job both leading up to the wedding and day of. I never once worried, day of, about the music or microphones for the ceremony and reception. We had an outdoor wedding and the sound was great and timing right on point....
