Congratulations on your engagement! I'm Susan Craig, owner of Spiritual Bondings LLC. I'm an ordained officiant serving all of Rhode Island, Eastern Connecticut, and Massachusetts - as well as locations further afield! My background might seem somewhat unusual for a wedding officiant; I've spent most of my career as a registered nurse. But both jobs require many of the same skills: excellent public speaking skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and a genuine desire to help people, whatever their background and story. I'm passionate about weddings and elopements. Big or small, it makes no difference. My goal is to help you design your version of the perfect ceremony! My services include a free consultation, rehearsal attendance (I don't believe in charging extra for this. I expect to be there; it's part of my job!), a handcrafted copy of your vows in a beautiful frame, and an unforgettable wedding day experience! What a beautiful ceremony. Spiritual bondinga stepped in exactly 5 days before my wedding day when my officiant had to cancel for eye surgery. Susan took on a tough challenge of setting up a catered to us ceremony in that very short time. Would...

n't you know she came up with vows, music and everything else that hit our souls and made our dreams more of a reality than we could have even imagined. Having a redneck and spiritual wedding was not easy to pull off with a years time, and Spiritual Bondings went above and beyond and we truly are grateful for how perfect everything was.

Most of my career has been spent as a Registered Nurse. Several years ago, close friends asked me to write and provide their ceremony. I have always loved weddings, and I've found this experience so fulfilling that I just couldn't stop providing them. I found I used many of the same skills as in nursing - calm under stress, excellent public speaking skills and a true interest and wish to help all kinds of people. I'm passionate about weddings, and totally focused on helping the two of you create the ceremony that will become yours alone.
