Zoe has been passionate about gardening since childhood and has always loved sharing her blooms with the world. She began growing flowers for weddings in 2014 while interning with a local farmer and in 2019 she opened Sterling Organic Farm to the world. She now has a huge selection of flowers of all types and colors for you to choose from, all grown right on her charming patch of land. Sterling Organic Farm provides full delivery and setup to weddings throughout the state of Connecticut. Whatever your wedding floral vision might look like, Zoe is ready to help make it a reality. As well as offering custom arrangements, she also offers a DIY option in which you are invited to create your own unique floral display.

a ride to visit Zoe and her farm and were in awe of her passion and experience with growing and caring for flowers. Zoe grew all of our flowers to match our wedding color scheme and designed them based on our preferences. Our bouquets, centerpieces, corsages, flower girl grown, sweetheart table centerpieces, and whisky barrel toppers were the most beautiful and freshest flowers I've ever see. I chose to have my flowers pressed and preserved so I could have them with me forever! Zoe is kind, professional, and flexible. She was willing to accommodate last minute additions and changes after our final wedding venue walk through. I wish the Knot had a way to share pictures because you can't imagine how stunning everything was!

Zoey did just that. With beautiful and unique looking wildflowers to big bloom tulips, I was absolutely in love with my flowers. Zoey was responsive in text and willing to change and update my vision as time went on. She also created centerpieces, boutonnieres, corsages, and decorated the arbor. I would recommend Zoey to anyone and everyone! I wish I could attach my pictures on here because everything was stunning!

Zoe Madden

Owner

From a young age, I have always loved flowers and had a green thumb. While gardening with my dad as a young girl, I picked out a packet of poppy seeds and insisted on planting them, even though my dad was sure they wouldn't grow, as the seeds were too old. The poppies grew and bloomed prolifically, and brought great joy to everyone who saw them. I got my start in growing flowers for weddings while interning with farmer/florist Peg Moran in Stonington, Connecticut, in 2014, and in 2019 I was finally ready to start my own farm. I love to celebrate love by growing and arranging flowers.
