Founded in 2015 and based in Hamden, Connecticut, Subculture Films is a creative partnership between myself, and my good friend and co-owner, Lucas Cecchetto. As both wedding and cinema enthusiasts, we don't just show up to film your wedding so we can pay our bills and go home. We know the impact of having a lifelong memory of one of the biggest moments in your life, and we take that responsibility to heart. When we work with our couples on their big day, we look to provide them with a unique, cinematic, visual work of art that lovingly and authentically captures who our clients are at their core and what their relationship truly means in their lives. Allowing us the privilege of working together to tell that story is one of the thrills of our job! Storytelling is at the root of everything we love about film, and to tell your story would be considered an honor. Services Offered We work primarily in the Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and New York areas, but are will to travel anywhere we are needed to tell a story. We offer a variety of unique video packages tailored to your specific needs including a superior quality cinematic highlight of your entire wedding day, set to your favorite songs in beautiful 4K resolution, 30 and 60 second trailers, formatted specifically for optimal viewing on all social media platforms, as well full length video recordings of all milestone moments including the ceremony, first dances, introductions and speeches. We also offer high quality audio recordings to ensure each moment is captured in crystal clear audio and video, full access to all of our raw footage from the day in both viewing and editing format, FAA licensed aerial drone video, and a custom engraved USB drive upon request. Being very well connected in our local filmmaking community as we are, we have many contacts and resources ready to provide backup for us, should we encounter any unforeseen obstacles prior to your wedding such as illness or injury. ly unique and artistic compared to your usual, typical (often kind of cheesy) run-of-the-mill wedding highlight video and footage. Sam provided ALL of the above and more -- not to mention, he worked with us as we dealt with the stress of venue and location changes and a constantly evolving wedding plan due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I've been working as a professional videographer since 2012, but for as long as I can remember, I've been in love with film. Everything on the screen and behind the scenes was complete magic to me. So in 2015, I decided to open Subculture Films in hopes of creating and capturing magical moments of my own. Shooting, editing, and experiencing the power of video first hand is why I do what I do!
