Very professional vendor. Bride provided music selections for procession, father/daughter entrance and exit with groom. Music was soft and beautiful. Musicians were very friendly and worked well with the venue. Would definitely recommend this company.

Erica was very professional and easy to work with. Booking was very easy and we loved that we were able to listen to samples of their performances on their website. We hired a single violinist to play music for my husband and I’s wedding ceremony and cocktail hour and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!! Erica was our point of contact for booking and was incredibly professional and assisted with any questions I had throughout the process in a timely manner. Dan was our violinist for our wedding day and his performances were absolutely beautiful!! For the ceremony we had requested special songs and he played them wonderfully. Hiring a live musician gave our ceremony and cocktail hour such a romantic feeling. I would highly recommend Sunset Strings and am so grateful they contributed to making our dream wedding a reality.

Words can't describe how incredible our wedding ceremony was. We received so many compliments from our guests on how beautiful the quartet performance sounded and how classy it was having strings play before and during the ceremony.
We married on May 6th at the Ringling Museum in front of the Cadzan mansion. It was such a seamless and effortless process working with Erica and the Sunset Strings Team. They were very professional and responsive as they assisted me in creating the perfect song selections that were romantic and timeless. Another major plus was the team has a vast selection of songs in their catalog. We were super excited to see certain songs listed. We chose some classical pieces as well as contemporary songs and the transitions were smooth and everything was perfectly timed. I felt so secure and overjoyed with happiness as I walked down the aisle completely immersed in the music and looking at at my smiling husband. It was truly and honor and a privilege to have such talented musicians perform at our wedding making it an unforgettable event. Our guests gushed that it was the best wedding they have ever attended. Sunset Strings did an amazing job at our wedding on May 6th at Sunken Gardens. They were easy to work with in selecting our ceremony and cocktail hour music. We even asked them to play the Mission Impossible Theme when our security agent ringbearer walked down the aisle. It was a hit! They showed up on time and our guests were so impressed. Our string duo from Sunset Strings was incredible, and the perfect touch to our wedding. My husband and I were recently married at The Vinoy and wanted string musicians who could match the classic and elegant feel of the hotel. However, given the younger crowd at our wedding, we also wanted string musicians who could play string music with a modern twist. The incredibly talented musicians at Sunset Strings were able to seamlessly transition from classic music for our ceremony to more modern songs for our cocktail hour. We hired a string duo to play before and during our ceremony. It was such a beautiful touch to our wedding. The string players were prompt and professional and played beautifully. I loved getting to enjoy their warm-up rehearsal while we were taking wedding party photos before guests began to arrive. Although I couldn’t hear the violinist while I was hidden away before the ceremony my guests all said that it really complimented the venue. Sunset Strings was amazing to work with and made my day sound beautiful! Erica was super easy to communicate with and I never went more than a few hours without a response. I had a traditional Catholic wedding, so I was at first nervous about using outside musicians. But Sunset Strings was familiar with the sequence of events and was able to flow seamlessly with the church organist and cantor. Having them play my entrance song was a great choice since I tend to walk fast and they were able to watch the whole time and perfectly time it out for the ending to happen right when I reached the altar. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for live ceremony musicians!

We reserved sunset strings to play for our wedding ceremony last minute and they delivered! The process of reserving them, picking songs and the day of was quick and easy. As the bride, I didn’t get a chance to listen to the beautiful music and was so disappointed. However, we received so many shining compliments during the wedding and after regarding sunset strings and their amazing ensemble. My only regret, I wish they could have played longer for us!!! I would recommend them in a heartbeat, they took away any stress or concerns we might have had regarding the ceremony music. I just knew we were in great hands!!

We had Sunset Strings for our wedding on Longboat Key on Feb. 27, 2021. Erica was fantastic to work with throughout the wedding planning process. Her team was even able to play Coldplay and U2 song requests we wanted to be played at certain times throughout the ceremony. The music was beautiful and we received many compliments from guests. Erica and Sunset String made for the most perfect touch to our wedding day. My now husband and I knew we wanted a violinist to be a part of cocktail hour, and Erica was so easy to work with that it was a no-brainer when it came time to book. My husband and I knew we always want to have live music for our ceremony and for our cocktail hour with the sunset as our backdrop. We felt it was the only way to do it and as soon as we began our search and as soon as i found sunset strings, it was a no brainer. Sunset Strings was INCREDIBLE!!! If you are looking to have live music/strings at your wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, or reception, I would highly highly recommend them. My husband and I got married in Sarasota last weekend and booked a duo for our ceremony and cocktail hour. They arrived promptly on time, looked extremely professional, and sounded amazing. Everyone complimented me on their performance and sound. Our wedding size was around 65 people and the duo was perfect for sound.
Before the wedding, everything was seamless working with Erica. She was so friendly and helpful and always responded quickly. I requested three songs for our ceremony that weren't in their list of songs, and Erica was able to find sheet music for all three of them. I did have to pay a small fee for the editing one of the sheets but it was totally worth it to have the song I envisioned!
I am so glad I chose to extend my time with them to have them play during cocktail hour as well. It was beautiful and created the magical vibes I had always dreamed of :) totally worth every dollar I spent! Again, HIGHLY recommend them!!

Hire Sunset Strings for my wedding on Saturday and there are simply not enough words to explain how great the music was. Every single song was beautiful, the sound was top notch, very professional, best of the best hands down. All my family members were completely mesmerized with how beautiful the violin music was. My husband and I had such a great experience with Sunset Strings performing at our wedding! They were so helpful and kind throughout the planning process. I was able to choose which songs fit best to make the ceremony most personal and it gave our outdoor ceremony such an elegant touch. With choosing a more boho style wedding I wanted to be sure it was still elegant and classy and they were such an important piece to creating that feeling at our ceremony and cocktail hour! Absolutely amazing! We ended up having to postpone our wedding about 40 days out due to covid, but still did a small minimony. Erica was very easy to work with on switching dates and we also hired her for our minimony. She was absolutely wonderful even though our day was a bit chaotic and we did not have a day planner to give her direction. 100% recommend.

When we started planning our wedding, there was one thing I absolutely needed...a live string duo for the ceremony! And I cannot be any happier with our choice of Sunset Strings! They were absolutely amazing to work with! They have any and every selection you could possibly need and they tailor to exactly what music you want to hear. Having a violinist at our wedding was one of the few "must haves" in our planning. I have been playing myself for several years, so it was very special to me. Working with Erica and Sunset Strings to setup our arrangements was a simple and pleasant experience. The online portal makes it easy to communicate and she provides several options to personalize your special day. The music on our wedding day is something I will never forget the sound of. It added such an intimate element that made every moment during our ceremony even more significant. My only regret about Sunset Strings is that, as the bride, I didn’t get to hear much of their performance! We had a string duo at our ceremony and an electric violin at our cocktail hour. The parts that I did hear were fantastic, and hearing them start to play my song before I walked down the aisle immediately brought tears to my eyes. The music was so beautiful and such a nice, romantic detail for our wedding. Booking and paying was made so easy with their online system. We worked with Erica to get everything set up and she was so responsive and friendly. Would definitely recommend Sunset Strings!

Sunset Strings was one of our favorite vendors from our wedding! Their music selections were great and we had no trouble picking songs. Dan and Erica made us feel completely at ease throughout the whole process. We chose the single violinist for our ceremony and it was perfect! We had an electric violin and tracks at our wedding this past weekend, and everyone at the ceremony raved about how wonderful our musician was. I was not the easiest bride, I requested a few unique songs, but our musician played them beautifully and Erica was very accommodating to me during the process. Highly recommend for your wedding!
We had a violinist from Sunset Strings play our ceremony and rooftop cocktail hour at the Florida Aquarium. The violinist was incredible and accommodated some special requests we had with no problem. It really was the perfect touch, and all of our guests commented on how lovely the music was. From initial contact, to the very end of the transaction, it was an absolute pleasure working with with Sunset Strings!
Sunset strings provided the music for our wedding ceremony on 2/17/2019 in Clearwater Beach. They were absolutely wonderful! Not only was the music beautiful, but they were very professional! Sunset Strings was able to send out a solo electric violinist to Jacksonville for our wedding and we couldn't have been happier with how things turned out. The entire process from start to finish was seamless and accommodating. Erica was accessible and responsive with us on identifying needs for the ceremony and was able to deliver special requests of solo electric violin music samples for us to review before electing our choices for the big day. We received nothing but positive feedback from all of our guests on the quality of the musician and the range of music that they were able to deliver at a consistently high level. Professional, courteous, caring and an absolute no-brainer when looking a strings for your upcoming wedding. Highly recommend.
Erica with Sunset Strings was so friendly and quick to respond to all my questions as I finalized the music selection for the string quartet to play classical music as guests arrived and during the ceremony, and to play Sinatra-style jazz during cocktail hour. She provided a fantastic, professional quartet (who also perform with the Florida Orchestra). They took our wedding to the next level. Guests of all ages enjoyed it! I highly recommend Sunset Strings.
