Cake was amazing and everyone loved the taste. We did marble with cheese cake frosting. We did a two layer to cut and 4 sheet cakes and the total was 375 with delivery. We ended up having a lot of people not be able to come so I went in 2 weeks...

My experience with this shop started out wonderful. I went to the shop tried the samples, gave a desposit and made my order. The owner, Dalia and I spoke multiple times throughout the year regarding my design change. Mid year I went to contact ...
the vendor only to find their number had been disconnected and their email address had changed. I googled them to find out that they had moved. Once I contcted them they added a delivery fee to my order (because they had moved). We confirmed my order via email in August and I was told to contact them when I arrived for my October wedding because I was an out of state bride, to provide the ribbon for the cake. I called them the week of my wedding to provide the ribbon, only to hear Dalia say "I thought you cancelled your order since I havn't heard from you". I was shocked and panicing. They agreed to make my cake regardless and I thought everything was going to be fine.
The day of the wedding I saw the cake and it looked beautiful. ....I asked my wedding coordinator if Sweet 220 had mentioned where the slice of real cake was in my "fake" wedding cake to cut for pictures. (in case you aren't sure what I mean...I ordered a cake made of styrofoam and then they frost it to appear as a real cake, its cheaper and then you have sheet cake in the back for the guests. In the styrofoam one piece of cake should be inserted so that the cake cutting ceremony can still take place, the spot that is meant to be cut should be signified with some sort of flower or something for the bride and groom).
To my surprise the was nothing that showed us where we should cut and although our coordinator thought she had found the right place for us to cut she didn't. My husband and I were left to be embarassed cutting into styrofoam, while all of our guests too pictures.
I emailed Dalia, the owner, at Sweet 220 and tried to explain what had happened and why we were disappointed in the service we recieved. All she did was blame me for not calling and confirming monthly that we still wanted their service, even after we paid a deposit! She also repeatedly denyed that they had made a mistake, and she did not once apologize.
Hopefully your experience will be better, it's sad, the cake design and the cake itself is great, but the service falls flat and can ruin an event.
Not sure if its worth the trade off.
