Sweet Pea exceeded our expectations for our wedding florals. We had a New Year's Eve wedding at the Edgewater Hotel and they decorated beautifully. They listened to what I did and didn't like, and showed me pictures of different types of flowers to find out my taste. We had all white arrangements which turned out breathtaking.

Sweet Pea Florals absolutely rocked our wedding day florals! They delivered exactly what I wanted. They florals were fresh, healthy and bright and they smelled wonderful. The team at Sweet Pea Florals went out of their way to make sure our greenery garland, for the gazebo we were married under, was securely attached and transported safely. Originally my parents were going to go pick up the florals, but after a few calls with Mary, I believe, we decided it would be best if she was able to get to the venue early to set up the garland for us and to ensure it was able to be done and done correctly. Mary and her team at Sweet Pea Floral did an outstanding job for my wedding flowers! The amount of care that they put into the planning and execution of your floral arrangements is over-the-top, and I can't imagine finding a better florist for our wedding day. I don't know much about flowers, but I was able to show Mary pictures of arrangements that I liked and with her eye for detail she made my vision come to life. I also wanted to decorate a large chandelier at our reception venue, and Mary was up for the challenge. They truly go above and beyond to make you and your day as special as it can be. We had scheduled a consultation and confirmed time and location with this vendor. We drove over an hour (round trip) to meet and when we arrived no one was there or answering the phone. Although this part is not their fault, we are in the process of moving, so this wasted time was particularly precious. They could be the best florist in a 50 mile radius but we will not be using them based on this experience.

Our wedding flowers from Sweet Pea Floral were gorgeous. We were planning our wedding from out-of-state, and it was much easier than expected. I did not know much about flowers, and Mary was very helpful in figuring out what I wanted. I found some flower images I liked on Pinterest and was able to send them to Mary who combined them all to make beautiful bouquets and corsages to fit with our fall theme and wedding colors. Her prices were very reasonable for beautiful flowers.

Mary did a wonderful job with the flower arrangements at our wedding. Mary's warm personality and positive attitude not only put me at ease but also made me feel like I was one of her own. I was on a tight budget but was wanting elegant flower bouquets and arrangements for a classy venue. Mary was able to work with me to create something that met what I was looking for. She really puts her heart into everything she works on. She went above and beyond at my venue by adding extra decorations in spots I didn't even think about. Mary was amazing. Before planning out our big day, she sat down with me and went through different options and ideas and really got a feel for what we wanted at our wedding. I had just a few pictures of themes that I liked, and she was able to bring those ideas to life! A few days before the big day, she sent a few follow up questions and some suggestions on how to make everything perfect, and I loved it. She was very responsive and easy to get ahold of (which was a blessing given how stressed I already was with everything!) The day of, everything turned out perfect. All of the flowers and decorations were EXACTLY what I asked for and then some! She also had labeled the flowers, so everyone in the party knew where the flowers went. I couldn’t have been happier with our experience and I highly recommend Sweet Pea for your wedding (as well as all flower deliveries, which are also AWESOME).

I first met Mary and her family at a wedding expo back in early January/February. As I was walking around the large expo hall trying to find a florist for our July wedding, I stumbled upon Sweet Pea Floral. Instantly, Mary's infectious smile and positive attitude drew me to make an appointment with them. The following week, I went in for a wedding consult at their store, and the incredible experience continued. Mary sat down with me, was attentive to every detail and picture I described/showed her, and made sure to work with me on getting me what I wanted at an appropriate budget. A few months before the wedding, my mom and I came into the store to ask about adding centerpieces to our floral order. Without hesitation, Mary, once again, sat with us and worked to provide us with the best possible options and designs for the centerpieces. The whole planning process was amazing. Even after Mary got hurt, she kept in touch via text & email and was able to meet with me the week of the wedding to iron out any of the final details. When it came to the wedding day, I arrived at the church to find my flowers BEAUTIFULLY arranged. My bouquet looked exactly like the picture I had sent her, and my bridesmaids' bouquets looked more amazing than I expected. The arrangements for the altar were subtle and versatile (we were able to use them at both the ceremony & reception), and the boutonnieres and corsages were beautiful. Overall, I would go back to Sweet Pea for any of my floral needs. Mary works hard to help you get what you want (on any budget). I would highly recommend!

We celebrated our nuptials in front of our loved ones on June 21 and our day couldn’t be more perfect because of Sweet Pea Floral! Mary was the most amazing vendor my husband and I had ever worked with for flowers. She was so helpful and understanding of our selection of flowers we wanted and even worked with our budget! We recently got married the other day and had a really terrible experience with sweet pea floral from the very start. The lack of un-organization and amount of mistakes was really disappointing and caused a lot of stress the day of when they showed up with the wrong flowers. When I first made my appointment with the new owner Mary I showed up and she had forgotten about the appointment and also did not have the survey I filled out online. Not a huge deal but this on top of the rest was not great. During this appointment I told her exactly what I wanted. Color, types of flowers. At the end of the meeting she told me to send a photo of the bouquet I liked the most for inspo. I emailed her one right away. I was supposed to receive a final meeting call a month before our wedding. I never did so 3 weeks before I called the store. This is where the un-organization really came in. The owner was impossible to get a hold of and no one ever seemed to have my folder at the store so they could never answer my questions. Like how much I owed. They said they would email me by the end of the day but I never got one email. I went to the store to bring in my check and set up a pick up time for my wedding. My folder once again was not at the store but they assured me they had it all figured out. Day before my wedding they called my maid of honor who thankfully was with me. They had lost my contact info apparently and wanted to check with her to see that my order was correct. The order was wrong despite my going into the store a week before and confirming and calling 3 weeks prior. I was really nervous going into the wedding that something would be wrong day of. Day of my wedding my flowers showed up and to say it was a huge mess is an understatement. For my wedding I was very specific that I wanted greenery and white flowers. These are what was on my form, what I had emailed to the florists in images. What showed up to my wedding were orange, purple, and pink flowers. We called the florists and she said we would have to bring the flowers back. This was an hour before the wedding so we insisted that she bring us the flowers because of the time. Wed rather have some flowers than none. The new flowers show up and are at least the right color. But they were sloppy and rushed. Because they were literally made an hour before the ceremony. My bouquet was made with wilting browning hydrangeas but at that point I was just happy they were white. This was a huge stress and my bouquet had none of the flowers in it I requested because Im guessing they just made it with what they had left over. My bridesmaid is also doing her flowers through them and has already been experiencing the same issues! So this isn't just something unlucky that happened. We picked this place because of all the amazing reviews. The new owner has no organization! Overall really disappointed with the flowers and service. I wish I could include a photo of the flowers I had in my bouquet to show.

I had a wonderful experience with Cathy at Sweet Pea Floral for my Monona Terrace - Madison wedding in July 2018. Cathy was easy to work with and really understood my vision. She also made some good suggestions that I'm glad we went with. She did all the ceremony & reception set up without me and she brought it to life just like I would've done myself. I received many compliments on the flowers & centerpieces. I would highly recommend!

I only had a rough idea of what I envisioned and was a bit overwhelmed by all the choices. Cathy somehow took it all in and showed up with bouquets and arrangements that matched our style and elevated the look of the whole affair. If you're looking for something to take off your plate, I highly recommend leaving the artistic decisions to her!

Absolutely incredible! Cathy is so truly talented and helped make our special day come together just as we had dreamed. Flowers were essentially all of our wedding decor and she could not have done a more perfect job. She was very flexible and worked with us whenever we had a new vision we wanted to create, and even made me a flower comb for my hair the day of the wedding (easing all of my last-minute/panicked nerves). She did a lovely job with large isle statement pieces, a grand arch for our wedding ceremony, all of the bouquets/boutonnieres, flower crown for the flower girl, roped greenery for the banquet tables, and small centerpiece vases on side tables. Cathy truly is such a pleasure to work with and she did the most amazing job, helping to make our wedding day perfect!

We hired Sweet Pea to provide flowers and greenery for our Tenney Park wedding in September, including corsages, boutonnieres, a bridal bouquet, and small flower vases and greenery for the dinner tables at the reception. Our only request was to create the arrangements with a fall theme and we left the rest up to them. We could not have been happier with the results! The flowers were delivered on time and were beautiful. We received a lot of compliments on the reception tables and the photography of the event is much more beautiful because of their work.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would!! Cathy was amazing and did everything possible to make sure that the flowers for the wedding day were perfect. She even stayed and set up our linens and centerpiece decor when the other workers (Event Essentials-Madison) did not follow through. We needed to change the location of a large pergola piece and she had awesome ideas that still looked beautiful. She made sure that my inspiration pictures I sent her were taken into account when picking the types of flowers. She was very responsive to emails and made sure everything was perfect! If you are looking for a florist I’m the Madison area, Sweet Pea is the place to go!!

When my Husband and I decided to renew our vows, we decided we want to do it big. We didn't have a big ceremony and reception at our wedding, so we decided to this time. The first thing I thought about was flowers. I wanted them big and extravagant. I new I wanted potted orchids incorporated and the arrangements had to be all white. That is about all the info I gave Cathy. She new my husband had chose the great Gatsby/roaring 20's for a theme and she went wild. Our flowers were AMAZING! Guests were able to take potted orchids home with them as I had hoped. I don't even know where to begin- knowing nothing about flowers Cathy has been wonderful since I first sent her a message asking her if she was available for my wedding. Not only was Cathy's shop going through construction there were road closures on the day we needed our flowers delivered downtown.
