tely valuable, as I changed up my look a little bit after the trial. Other than their beautiful work, part of why I chose to work with the team at Swept was that they do both hair and make up, so I didn't have to work on finding multiple vendors when Swept offered both! up services. When one of our bridesmaids passed away, Jaime was perfect and patient with us for changing the amount of people needing services. Then closer to the wedding date, before final payment, I had some bridal party want to add services on, and some didn’t need services anymore. Jaime was so amazing and adapted our contract to any changes that needed to happen. She was such an angel in the stress of wedding planning. When we scheduled my trial, I still wasn’t 100% sure what my wedding look was going to be. Sarah did my makeup, and I told her I wanted a more natural look. She came up with the most perfect natural glam look that I loved! Ciarrah did my hair. I showed her multiple inspiration pictures that were similar hairstyles, and explained I honestly wasn’t sure which one I should do for my fine hair type. She was so kind, and willing to try different options to find the perfect one. Her first hairstyle pic was the winner but it still didn’t feel perfect. She suggested letting some hair hang out of the bun, and it was so beautiful! Wedding day, we had all the bridesmaids stay the night in an air bnb to make everything easier in the morning. Sarah and Ciarrah were so efficient and had everybody done before the latest time they could be done. Everyone looked gorgeous! We had music playing that made it such a fun atmosphere on my wedding day! I felt like a princess! They both made me look and feel so beautiful on my wedding day! Perfect company to hire! Jaime is also able to switch hair stylists or makeup artists if it’s not a match at your trial. You also can request specific artists if you like their specific work on Swept’s website or Instagram.

They had a great time with all of us and finished early so the wedding party had a few minutes to breathe before the pictures started. SO incredible. I had multiple trials with her because I was so indecisive and she truly listened to me, gave amazing advice, was so patient sweet and kind and the most talented makeup and hair artist ever. On my wedding day, I changed my mind yet again and Angie not only was so accommodating, she NAILED IT. struggled to articulate what I wanted, but Sallie made miracles with both my hair and makeup. I spent ages looking through pictures and the look she created was better than anything I had imagined! I had an absolutely gorgeous, intricate updo that stayed in place while dancing all day and all night. The makeup looked so elegant, and at the same time I still looked like myself. Rosie and Sallie worked together on hair and makeup for all my bridesmaids; everyone looked stunning and were so happy with the results. Both ladies were so sweet, down to earth, and fun to work with, not to mention incredibly fast! We finished with time to spare and got some bonus downtime with my best friends. running into issues with management. The first time, I was supposed to get my preview done over the weekend. A snowstorm was coming and I had concerns about driving to MD, plus I had not received the address of where I was meant to go. I called and emailed several times with no answer/response. Eventually, last minute, I got an email that all appointments had to be rescheduled and they had apparently just forgot or didn't have me included in the information. Rescheduling the preview then became the next nightmare. I would be given a date, agree that it worked, and then they would reschedule. At one point they tried to schedule my preview for the end of March when my wedding would be within the next two weeks. The icing on the cake was I paid out the fee before my wedding and then the week of received an email telling me that my invoice was overdue. I sent screenshots of my Venmo transactions and got a "oops" in return. There were even more scheduling issues and I had to have my maid of honor hash everything out because I was so stressed and upset by the week of my wedding. Overall, I think management is a severe weak point and it really isn't fair to their hair and makeup artists either, who were kind and professional and did amazing work.

hey were amazing! I actually had a trial with them as well a few months before my wedding, and they were able to replicate and adjust the look as needed the day of. I was soo stressed that day because my skin was acting up — I had a lot of dryness and a few pimples — but Angie addressed my concerns and was able to make me look and feel beautiful while still making sure I still looked like me. Meanwhile, Kristin did my hair exactly how I wanted it. They also did such a wonderful job accommodating my mom and bridesmaids' requests, and they were also able to work fast because we were trying to beat the rain for photos. You also can't beat the price — my hair and makeup totaled $200 (before tip) and it was $75 for the wedding party/guests I believe. Great value and great service. Can't recommend them enough!

Our hairstyles lasted all night and we got so many compliments! I also did a hair trial with Kristin a few weeks before my wedding. I ended up asking her to make a modification to the hairstyle for the actual wedding and she was able to do that without a problem. I cannot recommend Swept and Kristin enough!!

We used Kristin for hair (so great at sleek and classic looks) and Angie for makeup (love the sun-kissed looks and bold lips). I had trials with each, and both listened to what I liked and didn't like and were able to adjust the look based on my preference. I highly suggest air-brush makeup. The lashes looked slightly too fake for me, but I had Angie trim them so they'd look slightly more natural for me. Both were super fun and added to our fun getting-ready atmosphere.
Total cost: ~$1910 (includes 1 bride hair/makeup, 7 attendant hair/makeup, day-of 20% tip, bridal hair/makeup trial, fake lashes for 6 girls)
Covid-19 Notes: I had to reschedule our wedding due to Covid-19 twice, and Swept was able to accommodate our new dates both times, without hassle. Both Kristin and Angie wore face masks at the mother-of-the-bride's request.

We scheduled a hair and makeup trial, which was absolutely perfect. She completely nailed the vision we had been going for and then went above and beyond it! I was fortunate enough to be able to benefit from Jamie’s talents two times before my wedding--at my best friend’s wedding and for a boudoir photoshoot. On the day of the wedding, our getting ready team (Jamie, Wendie, Jordan, and Sarah) arrived at our venue and set up while we got things unpacked in the bridal suite. The reason why I'm writing about our situation is because I want to emphasize how AMAZING Swept and their crew were/are. As you can imagine, we were STRESSED. They were extremely patient with us. They were flexible with their time. They had prompt makeup artists. As crazy as the wedding planning was, they understood and worked with us. They made it easy.
In the midst of everything basically 1-2 weeks before the wedding I finally had a makeup/hair trial with them. To be honest, I wasn't too excited about the results of the trial however I was still extremely confident that they knew their stuff. Day of wedding, it was even MORE than what I wanted and/or expected. They got to know me during the trial (I mean, that's why it's a TRIAL. So I highly recommend a trial before hiring them on your big day!). They understood what I wanted and how to work with my face/hair. I never felt more beautiful in my life and I was extremely confident during my wedding because I KNEW I looked good (I mean, it was our wedding day and that's to be expected right??).
I don't regret a single thing. I was so blessed to find them last minute and was extremely lucky they were available on my wedding date.
