he authentic care and time she provides her clients is unparalleled. I had a few changes to my order and she handled them with grace and a smile making it seem like it was no trouble at all. We were able to rent antique colored glassware, vintage rugs, vintage gold chairs for our sweetheart table and some vintage furniture and end tables to create a lounge setting. All of these pieces added such a unique element to our wedding day to help make it look and feel like “us.” We are so grateful for your kindness and help, Pam! The furniture was beautiful and comfortable (my four year old niece can attest since she fell asleep on the couch about halfway through the ceremony!). The price point here was also very agreeable, much more so than other furniture rental places we looked at. It appeared as if you could "add" rental items to your cart from their website and check-out through the website but unfortunately it was more of a back-and forth process through emails, of us adding and removing items to rent, checking on availability and constantly re-calculating our total invoice. Although their rental items were reasonably priced, make sure you're prepared to pay for delivery & pick-up fees. I think they will also allow you to pay an additional fee for setting-up some items but we opted not to - fortunately, our day of coordinator was able to set up the items where we wanted, but Swoon was only willing to drop off the rental items at our venue for the services we paid them for. Additionally, they required our day of coordinator to gather their rental items in a central location for them to pick-up at the end of the night. Overall, we were pleased with the vintage decor Swoon provided and the pieces we rented but just want future couples to be aware they operate mainly as a rental company and do not provide any set-up (except for maybe an additional charge) and they do charge additional for delivery and require a (refundable) security deposit should anything be damaged during your event.
