All of the makeup and hair came out exactly the way each girl asked for, and everyone received compliments throughout the wedding. Opting to go with Taffeta was the best decision we made, and we couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out! Thank you!

affeta were also very accommodating with our location change due to COVID-19, despite the additional travel fee. For reference, our original venue was in Toms River and our new location was in Union, NJ. Apparently they had a travel fee for locations in Central and North Jersey, since they were primarily based in South Jersey. My only concern about them is that it would take them a while to get back to me, whether it was through their website or their work cellphone. Once I did get in touch with someone though, it was smooth sailing from there as they were really helpful. Just something to keep in mind!

very simple. They come to where you are which also takes away some of the stress of your big day. Alex and make up artist, Lauren, did a beautiful job on all of the ladies in the wedding and our mothers. Alex also has a beautiful shop in Hammonton where I was able to find my hairpiece. It happened to match my dress perfectly.

e I went for both of my trials. The store set up is so clean and is absolutely adorable! The receptionist/ coordinator, Gina, was so quick to getting back to me whether it be by phone or email. She made the entire process so easy and I always knew what was to be expected from them by her. She helped coordinate which of their many stylists would be best fit for what I was looking for and able to travel to where my venue was. The stylist I had for makeup was Geno and for hair I had Gina (different Gina). Both of them I would hands down recommend to any and everyone! They vibed together so well day of and helped make my morning really fun. It was like they knew they had to work and get a job done, but still wanted to enjoy the morning with us which I totally loved because it made them fit in beautifully! Geno brought his own music which helped keep the morning flowing and fun! He has such an awesome personality and really strived to make not only myself as the bride, but all of my girls and moms feel so beautiful. What I loved most too is that I didn't feel like I had a boat load of makeup on even though I did, and I didn't look cakey at all! Everything just laid down so nicely and blended together perfectly! Gina was such a joy to work with too! Her personality is just fun and relaxed! She did such amazing work on everyone's hair and man oh man did not a single hair fall out of place on my head that day! And not because she used too much product, but because she was just that good about where to place things and where bobby-pins should go. During my trials with the both of them I felt very confident on what I could expect day of. They were very patient during the trials and if I didn't like even the smallest thing they were both like "okay no problem we just adjust". It made me feel very comfortable and like I didn't have to settle. What I also loved too day of, was at one point my photographer was getting a bit snippy about time and was making me feel like we were running so so behind (we weren't) and as I started to get really worked up, both Geno and Gina stepped in and sternly, but very politely told the photographers to basically back off and calm down. The rest of the morning went smooth from there! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking that they go with Taffeta for their wedding day or any event for that matter! You will not regret the decision and will feel just so beautiful!

for my engagement pictures and bridal shower and I loved my hair and make-up every time! Alex(the owner), Kat, Kay, Geno, and Lauren were the stylist that I have had and they were all amazing! I also bought by engagement earrings, wedding earrings, and wedding day hairpiece at their cute and local salon/boutique. My now husband and groomsmen also used Taffeta's onsite barbers and they are still talking about how great they were! Overall I highly suggest taffeta and will definitely be using them for my future hair and make-up needs!

I also have to note that they did a phenomenal job with my mother, they were able to convince her to get out of her comfort zone (a nearly impossible task that ended up being worth it) they made her look 20 years younger- my dad literally cried when he saw her. I will definitely be using Taffeta again for all future events!

Alex did my hair and Christine did my makeup and they were so flexible and amazing to work with (Even when I made a last minute decision to wear my hair up) ;) My bridal party is still raving about them.

en edited makeup photos for me after the wedding. Kristen did my hair and she was amazing and worked with me when I did not know what I wanted to do. I tried a hair trial somewhere else but it didnt compare, Kristen is the best at what she does. I couldnt have had a better hair and makeup crew! They were even done early and I had 6 bridesmaids, a mother of the groom and a mother of the bride. I highly recommend Taffeta for hair and makeup for your wedding.

heir time with each of my bridesmaids - each girl looked better than the next! In other weddings I’ve been in, it felt like my makeup and hair was rushed because of poor time management. Obviously the bride comes first, but the hair and makeup people should allocate enough time for each person. Taffeta was great about that and I didn’t have to worry about a thing! Alex, Gina, Kat, Lauren are super talented and a dream to work with!

initial contact to the wedding day, Gina was very organized, responsive and professional, and both the trial and wedding day prep went smoothly. Christine (makeup) and Tress (hair) did an amazing job. They worked off the sample photos perfectly but were extremely flexible in making adjustments along the way. My MOH and I looked stunning, and our hair and makeup stayed intact all night, even after running around taking photos all day and then dancing all night. I would definitely hire Taffeta for all future events, and would recommend them to others without any hesitation. Thank you, Taffeta!!

ered all of my emails in a timely fashion. Alex does AMAZING work. The day of my wedding the team was on time (even beat me there!) We had 14 girls and I was so worried about our timeline. Alex and team made us all feel so relaxed and we even finished early! Everyone loved their hair and make up. I also can’t say enough good things about the Barber club. We booked them somewhat last minute and it was the best decision we made! The guys looked amazing. I couldn’t believe when I saw my husband, my dad and brothers along with the rest of the bridal party! Thank you so much Taffeta for making our wedding day one to remember!
