My goal is to offer beautiful, artisan weddings and celebration cakes, pies & other desserts to Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. Coming from a family of pie-makers I love to create new & exciting flavors in addition to tried & true family favorites. The Bashful Tarte offers a full selection of not only stunning wedding cakes to delight your guests, but also pies, cookies, bars, cupcakes and more! ood that our wedding guests left nothing behind. Sara also opened her bakery in Yarmouth which is in the perfect location and provides such delicious treats (and coffee)!! Sara even went above and beyond after my wedding to help me with sending my cake topper home (as we relocated to another state). I cannot thank you enough Sara, you were absolutely incredible to work with and every time we come to the Cape we will be stopping by the shop to enjoy your desserts!

Sara was wonderful to work with! For the tasting, we were able to chose two cake flavor combinations. She was very flexible with the flavor choices, but was also realistic when we said we wanted a certain flavor that she said wouldn't hold up v...
ery well in the actual wedding cake. (I'd much rather prefer an honest, experienced opinion- she's the expert, not me!) She was great answering all of our questions and had some great stories and designs about cakes she had done in the past. We chose a chocolate cake with raspberry jam and a simple design. We loved how it came out and it was a very reasonable price. Above all, it was delicious! My husband and I have the funniest picture where we fed each other cake and then had the biggest "YUMMY" expressions on our faces! Sara also saved the day! When she arrived at the venue to drop off the cake, none of the catering staff could find our cake topper for her to put on the cake. She is the one who alerted me so that we could get it figured out. Whew!
