I've been waiting until after my wedding to leave a review... Shelby has been styling, coloring and cutting my hair the months leading up to my wedding. Not only did I make a friend, but she's one killer hairdresser!! She did the hair for my entire bridesmaid party and it all turned out SO perfectly! I'm so excited to have found her, and I look forward to trusting her with my hair needs in the future. Thank you soooo much Shelby!!!

I highly recommend Shelby - there is nothing scarier than having to trust someone new with your hair but when I met Shelby back in 2019 I knew I was in good hands! It was a no brainer to lock her in for my wedding when we finally nailed the date down. Shelby is incredibly talented and FAST - 4 bridesmaids, Mother of the bride, flower girl & bride all with time to spare. She is a rock star!

Shelby Rae is the best!!! She listened to exactly what I wanted for myself and my bridesmaids and made us all look beautiful! She was so nice during the entire process, answered all of my questions and even worked with me to add an additional person to the schedule on the day of the wedding. Her kindness, flexibility and understanding definitely helped to make wedding planning less stressful and helped to make the wedding day much more fun!

Shelby was WONDERFUL. I have been dealing was hair loss over the last few years and was so nervous about how my hair would look when I got married. Shelby was so patient and kind with me. And come my wedding day, she gave me the epic, full curls that I so desperately wanted. And let me tell you that no one would have guessed that I'd been dealing with hair loss.

Shelby made all my wedding hair dreams come true! I wanted some extensions and she helped me pick the perfect ones to complete my look. She was great to work with and everyone looked flawless!

MY GIRL!!!! Shelby was amazing on my day of. I had nothing to worry about with her in charge of my bridal parties makeup along with my hair and makeup. Everyone was so comfortable and thrilled with the end results!! My hair and makeup lasted through the entire evening without budging so I did not have to worry about anything! Love love love her and highly recommend booking Shelby for your big day!

Shelby was absolutely fantastic! She styled my hair exactly how I was hoping and it lasted the whole night (and it didn’t feel crunchy from the hairspray). She also moved so fast, keeping us on schedule for the day. Truly could not recommend her enough!

I don’t even know if there is enough words on how to explain how amazing this woman is. Not only did she make me look fabulous on my wedding day, she made me feel fabulous. She absolutely took my vision of the look I wanted for my wedding party and me and went above and beyond. Not only did I find the perfect wedding hair/makeup vendor, I found my forever hairstylist!

10 million stars!!! I got the exact hairstyle I wanted. My sister, mother, and daughter ended up with gorgeous hair as well. Shelby does a great job listening to what her clients want and executing flawlessly. I said I didn’t want a hair out of place and at 3am after the wedding and sweating for 6 hours and my hair was still perfect. I’ve also got the added bonus of finding my new stylist.

Because of Shelby, my bridal hair and bridesmaids updos looked AMAZING the entire day (which for some, lasted 16 hours!!) Shelby was willing to travel and although we started early, Shelby was so kind and energetic on the morning of my wedding day. Shelby encouraged conversations about the concerns of various hairstyles during my bridal trial, and I was completely put at ease after seeing the final look. Shelby was professional while making me feel stress free on the morning of my wedding. I would recommend Shelby for all hair needs, regardless of textures and styles! I could not be more thankful for Shelby’s skills and her ability to work with my vision for my wedding day.

Shelby did the best job possible for my wedding in May 2021! She worked quickly and had great suggestions for everyone and made us all look our best. My makeup looked just as fresh at the end of the night as it did when she put it on! I would highly recommend her for your wedding.

Shelby was so sweet and fun through the entire process. Prior to the wedding, I chose to do trial hair and makeup and she helped me finalize the styles I wanted. She listened to me when I wanted to make tweaks to my hair and was so helpful in picking out natural makeup. The day of the wedding, she did hair and makeup on myself and three bridesmaids and makeup on my mom in under four hours. At the end of the night everyone's hair and makeup looked as good and in place as when she first finished it.

I have long hair and wanted big southern curls on my wedding day, therefore I looked for a hair stylist who could provide just that, and Shelby Rae delivered! I also had her put in my clip-on extensions and secure a tiara on top of my head – my hair was flawless all day and night. Most of my bridesmaids had up-dos, which were the best up-do’s I’ve ever seen, and they were secure all day/night too! Shelby Rae was so sweet to work with and super fast! Her prices were also very affordable/reasonable. She is awesome and I would definitely recommend her!

Shelby went above and beyond on my big day on October 3rd! She had 9 women to get hair and makeup done on and she killed it! Everything was so beautiful! My hair and makeup lasted all night, as did my bridesmaids’ and Mom’s! She is so personable and helped me out a ton on timing of things with having 9 girls needing hair and makeup. Highly recommend her for your wedding day!

I would highly recommend Shelby with Belle Ame Studio’s to anyone looking for a bridal stylist! She was instrumental to a happy wedding day! Everyone wanted a different style and she completely nailed it…everyone looked so beautiful! I received so many compliments, and it still looked perfect by the end of the night! After finding Shelby on the Knot I started going to her for my cuts and colors as well. Getting to know Shelby has been such a joy. She is such a bubbly positive person that will be a great addition to your wedding day! I had multiple hair trials for my wedding and Shelby was so patient with me and helping me find my perfect hair style. Thanks again for everything Shelby it wouldn’t have been the same without you!

Shelby is AMAZING!!! She truly brought my wedding vision to life and is so knowledgeable. I wasn’t worried one bit when it came to the day of our wedding. She’s calm, cool, collected, and so much fun to work with. Shelby did such an amazing job on me and all of my girls!! My hair is not the easiest to work with and a lot of hair stylists don’t work for me and my hair but Shelby did perfect! She also had a lot of us to do and not a lot of time and she did wonderful! Not only did she get us all completed but she stayed on time!! WOW! Shelby was absolutely from the get go. I’m absolutely amazed in how involved she was in preparation and on the day of my wedding. She stayed in constant communication with me on what my vision was for hair and makeup leading up to the day of and was prompt to schedule a trial run prior. She was genuinely interested in my wedding and did everything she could to make the day stress free! She did my hair and makeup, my 4 bridesmaids hair and makeup, and my mom’s makeup in no time. Shelby is an extremely fast and efficient worker... she made all of us look stunning for the day of! Working with her was an absolute blast.
