If I had to give any bride any advice it would be to hire Julie!!! I couldn't stop telling my parents leading up to the day how thankful I was to have Julie in my life!!

We made big changes to the plans just 3 days before the wedding, moving the reception indoors due to weather, and it didn't phase her. She re-arranged the plans, and made the day seamless. Having her expertise on the day to coordinate all the vendors and keep the logistics of the party coordinated were simply invaluable; she gave me a priceless gift of being able to focus on my new husband, family and friends. Julie was the most important vendor at our wedding and I can't have imagined pulling it all off without her. Thank you Julie.

I was in awe at what she was able to accomplish, how smooth it went and how easy she made the day. I was not an easy bride and Julie is an angel for managing my wedding! She kept things on schedule at the reception, she boxed us up food to make sure we actually ate, and stayed at the end of the night to help us clean up and pack up all our things. We had a couple meetings with her beforehand, including one at our venue since she had never been there before and she wanted to make sure she was prepared. On the day of our wedding, Julie was so amazing! She was great at making sure we both had everything we wanted and needed. She also wanted to make sure we were calm and not nervous all day as well! She did a fantastic job of making sure everything we brought to have her set out was done and in place when she got there. Julie was also great at making sure everybody was where they needed to be during our family photos. Even when my brother (who was walking my mom down the aisle) ripped his pants 20 minutes before the ceremony started, Julie remained calm and made sure we had a sewing kit to fix them. I couldn’t imagine not having Julie at our wedding making sure everything was running smoothly! My mind was 100% at ease knowing Julie was taking care of everything!

Julie's assistance in coordinating our vendors and the timeline for the wedding day was invaluable, as was her help with our dress rehearsal. Her assistance on the wedding day was fabulous! As the mother of the bride, I was able to relax and enjoy my daughter's wedding because Julie was there to take care of all the details, coordinated all the major events during the wedding, and handled any issues that came up during the wedding and got them resolved asap! Not only is she a true professional (responsive, timely, organized, pays attention to detail), but she has the perfect personality to take charge when necessary, in a caring and tactful way. I always felt secure and comfortable knowing Julie was there to help me any time I needed her, before or during the wedding. Our guests were so impressed with Julie's ability to multi task and make sure everything was just right, and be so much fun at the same time. I recommend Julie as your wedding planner/coordinator without any reservation! She is absolutely THE BEST!!

I am not great at event planning, and Julie really helped ask the right questions to make sure that my husband and I had a really special day. Beginning a month before the wedding (when our contract started), I found Julie to be incredibly detail oriented, very responsive, and full of great ideas and advice! During the planning process, Julie thought of details I would have not have thought about otherwise. She created a the perfect timeline for the wedding - we would have been at a total loss in this area without her expertise. Our timeline was tight since we did not do a first look, but Julie was able to prioritize sunset photos and fit in all our wedding day events seamlessly even when our wedding fell 10 mins behind. Because of Julie, we did not have to worry about details and we could enjoy our wedding without stress. We thank Julie so much for her hard work and attentiveness. We had the most beautiful and perfect day thanks to her!

to be the cool, calm, and collected bride I was on my wedding day. Julie was totally on it from the get go- she made sure my wedding went on without a hitch even though we had a chance of rain. Compliments galore of how perfect my wedding looked and how smoothly my wedding went- from aesthetics to timing, etc. The biggest compliment I received from people was that my wedding was so relaxed and that they felt like they really were on vacation. In addition to Julie's help on the big day, she helped me pull off the very difficult task of surprising my fiance with an art show the night before. Julie was super helpful in executing such a fun event for all our guests. The way she put everything together and coordinated pickups of items was a slam dunk! But, Julie was very helpful with rehearsal in putting our minds at ease and to carry out final details. We asked quite a lot for Julie to do in a short period of time based on what the wedding venue allowed. so easy and fun and your day is truly stress free! Julie and I met for the first time to just go over basic logistics and to see what services I needed. She has a survey/questionnaire to fill out which helped me get a better idea of what she would be doing for my wedding (the day of and services I needed prior). She's super super organized (I really don't know how she does this job!!), emails my vendors when I have a question, answers all my questions in a timely manner, and then went with me to go through florals and food tasting. Julie has a website you can use to keep everything organized and tasks she gives you to make sure you're on track and also had a list of vendors if I needed anything. I ended up using her hair and make up recommendation along with her floral rec and I'm so glad I did. I planned my wedding in about 4 months, but I really feel like I only spent about a month or even less, actually needing to do things for my wedding. I just put my trust into Julie and everything got done or she told me what to do and it was just so easy! The day of my wedding was absolutely stress free and I have Julie to thank for that. If you want someone who knows the industry, gets the job done, is so much fun to work with, and doesn't give you any stress during the process then Julie is your gal!! I got so many compliments about my wedding and everyone had so much fun!

She came with us to select our linens, to our menu tasting, to floral meeting + mock-up and did a thorough site run-through with us - again, a lifesaver. On the day of our wedding, I didn't have to direct a single vendor on where they needed to be - Julie had it handled beforehand. If there were a problem with any of them, I would have never known because the reception was perfect when we got there! Julie created a very detailed timeline for the bridal party and our vendors; these definitely helped make the day go more smoothly. Overall, I highly recommend having Julie as your wedding coordinator. There is no denying that planning a wedding is stressful, but having a professional whom you can rely on makes the process easier and more fun!

Our wedding went without a hitch (at least none that I knew of that were life altering) and I felt zero stress the day of. She went above and beyond the call of duty. While I was getting ready in my suite, more than one sibling/BM, who aren't afraid to hold back opinions, praised her hard work, and said you can tell she knew what she was doing, and that the venue was looking well prepped. She was excellent in keeping things moving along smoothly and in a timely manner. She controlled the food stations to avoid bottle necking, cued the DJ for what was next, made sure gifts, and anything going back was handled, and that all that needed to be done so that we get our security deposit back was taken care of. Because, if cleaning up after your own wedding isn't a buzz kill, I don't know what is! I wasn't sure at first if having a coordinator was worth part of the budget. Seriously, the day went by too fast, to have to deal with logistics and vendors the day of. I am so glad we chose to invest in our sanity during the planning process, have her guidance & expertise,, and be able to fully enjoy our wedding day.

I got married on a military base and she was so knowledgeable about the rules and regulations. Julie is so sweet, professional, and a joy to work with. On the day of my wedding Julie made sure everything ran smoothly. If there were any problems I never knew because Julie took care of it. From day one Julie said on the day of the wedding her job was to make sure the bride did not have to worry or stress about anything and i didn't. I would like to explain and give an example of just how sweet Julie is. I had my reception on a military base which started at 6 pm. Since it was a military base there are certain rules, one being you are not allowed to start setting up until 2 hours before. My wedding ceremony was at a church at 2 pm and the church had a wedding planner so i did not need Julie at the church (also she had a lot to do to get ready for my reception). When I pulled up to the church, guess who was standing there....Julie! She came to the church and surprised me! Like i said Julie is the best of the best and if you are able to book her before someone else does you wont regret it.

And Julie will keep you right on schedule and arrange all of those little crafty things you spent months creating for the card table that you forget about on the actual day and before you know it, without you having to bat a glued-on eyelash, everything will be just as you imagined and more. Because she cares. You can tell when someone does something because they love it, there's an extra touch and ease to the whole thing. My flower girl was without flowers minutes before we were walking down and ,*pluck pluck pluck*, Julie chose a few from each maids' bouquet and in less than 10 seconds the problem was already solved and forgotten and we were back to the main issue at hand - not crying. Hire Julie. She is awesome. Your day will be incredible and you will be so thankful that you found her.

One last (and huge!) added bonus - Julie's husband Mick Scrivener (Elite British DJ) was amazing. He provided some great recommendations on how to make our event unique and everyone had an absolute blast on the dance floor. Highly, highly recommend them both!

Until your wedding, you get helpful emails (only once a month or so, they’re not intrusive at all) with hints about organizing or planning, and Julie is available for all your questions. She also had fantastic recommendations for other vendors that she’d worked with before and found good. Once we got to a month from the wedding she took over the planning and organizing. She coordinated between me and the venue to make sure we were all on the same page; she organized a timeline for the bride and groom, wedding party, all other vendors, and family so that everyone knew where they were supposed to be and at what time (our master timeline was over 7 pages and we only had a 5 hour ceremony/reception with 90 guests!); she contacted all the vendors and made sure they knew what was going on and would show up on time; she set up all our wedding favors, the guest book table, and made sure that any outside ceremony flowers were moved inside for the reception; and took care of a million other little details. Our wedding went off without a hitch and I honestly think it’s because Julie made that happen. I am an incredibly organized person, but I still don’t have the knowledge or awareness to be able to coordinate a wedding. Additionally, the last thing you want to be doing is setting out favors at your own wedding and it’s so relaxing to know that someone reliable is taking care of everything for you. Julie is kind, funny, knowledgeable, incredibly responsive to your emails, and all around amazing to work with. Julie (and her husband Mick as our DJ) were easily the best choice we could have made and I would happily recommend them to everyone.

She was familiar with the location (which had its challenges). We signed up for the month package which included two meetings, rehearsal, day of the wedding, and she will communicate with you with any questions you may have via email. When we had our schedule handed to us, we were wondering how we were going to get everything in in 5 hours (limited due to being on the military base). Everything worked wonderfully! On rehearsal day, she helped us work on the transition we wanted to do into our costumes after ceremony. Julie got to work on coordinating and setting everything up on the day of the wedding. She was the only one who captured on film, us and the wedding party transitioning into our costumes (I was Captain America and my husband was Iron Man) behind the black sheet. Julie and her husband did dress up to partake in the festivities as well. Julie (and her husband - will go into detail in another review) did an awesome job on our wedding to make it memorable for us, our family and friends!!! You won't regret it when you hire Julie and her husband. (People still talk about our wedding to this day...)

er the initial meeting: second meeting right when she would start her month's services and another one the week before the wedding (along with her husband, Mick, who was our DJ). She had us fill out a form and reviewed it with us. She used her home as a storage place the week leading up to the wedding, to minimize the chance of us or friends/family forgetting to bring something. She, along with our caterer, set up the decorations so we didn't have to worry about that either. In addition to the face-to-face meetings, we mostly communicated through email (and a few texts and phone calls). She was very responsive and when she knew she would be less responsive, she made sure we knew it beforehand. I've worked in customer service, and I appreciate someone who knows how to set customer expectations. She was also proactive in reaching out to us, verifying and confirming payments, schedules, etc. She noticed details, like when our venue misunderstood and thought we were adding time instead of just shifting our reserved time block up a half hour. It was comforting to let her bear some of this burden of scheduling all the other vendors and I could go to her as the one main point of contact (or at least include her in all my communications with other vendors so she was on top of everything). She ran the rehearsal smoothly. During the wedding, it was so helpful to have her reminding us what was up next, what we had to do next, so we didn't have to keep all of that in our heads. It's these little things that helped us relax and enjoy our day. If we were to do it all over again, we would still choose her! (and her husband as our DJ, but that's for a separate review)

awaii. We had never been before so we needed to decide which island to chose. Julie told me the differences between the islands and so I chose the Big Island because I wanted something that wasn’t just in a city. Julie and I both had never been there, so we literally had to start from scratch. She helped me find the venue, which turned out to be the most amazing venue ever! Puakea Ranch. Our pictures where the most amazing and perfect. The caterers Julie found were also amazing! My guests could not stop gushing about the food. Julie always found at least two vendors for each category so I could have options and chose which one I preferred. In the days leading up to the wedding, I was very nervous because I had never seen the place. Julie helped me feel so comfortable. There was a few times I would text her about some concerns I had and she promptly always texted me back. She definitely made me feel a lot more comfortable knowing she was on top of things and that she had been with me through the whole year long planning process. On the day of she was invaluable! For the amount of things going on around me as I was getting ready both before and then during the wedding, I was SO glad Julie was handling things. There was some issues with the shuttle service I hired for my guests, but Julie insulated it from me fairly well. Then there was an issue with my wedding cake, but she insulated me so well I didn’t even know about the problem until after the wedding. All of my wedding party kept telling me that Julie was amazing and on top of everything. I truly could not have kept up with all the details involved with planning for a wedding. Although weddings are expensive, hiring a wedding planner like Julie is a necessity. Her fees aren’t even very expensive especially compared to what she does for you. I HIGHLY recommend Julie for the entire planning of your wedding to the day of. It’s truly worth it and I know my day could not have been as perfect as it was without her help. Mick, who is a DJ, and when I looked into it some more I found out his wife was a wedding planner. I thought, "Winner"! Let me tell you, it was the best decision I made and I am so thankful for the support that Julie offered during the entire process. She responds in a timely manner and is honest when you ask her opinion. She put my mind at ease through the whole process and although I only just met her, I felt comfortable from the beginning. She gave us vender referrals, meet with us when we came from out of town 6 months before our wedding, and we had a few other skype chats with her with along the way. She let us ship some items to her house which she brought to the wedding, was so helpful during our rehearsal, made us a very detailed and helpful day-of schedule, was willing to come to our venue early to help set up, she even did a wine run mid wedding as we were running low on white. I am sure there are many more things Julie did on our wedding day that made it run smoothly and the beauty of it is that I never knew! She just made everything happen quietly and problem solved when needed. Julie is amazing!

We had a details meeting 1 month prior to our wedding and at that time she collected all the information on all our vendors and helped us work out the final details. She offered suggestions, vendor referals, and so much more. From that moment on, she corresponded with each vendor to communicate the timeline, detailed changes and other logistics. It was so wonderful to tell a vendor when they called me that they should please call my coordinator Julie... it took so much stress off of me (the bride). The week before the wedding we dropped everything for the reception off at her office (table numbers, candy bar items, centerpiece items, etc) so that she could transport them to the reception. She lead our rehersal the night before and organized everything on the day of. The day ran so smoothly... we were actually on time! We could not have done it w/o Julie's support. She was amazing! Julie has worked many weddings and has so many good suggestions about what works and what doesn't, somthing every bride tries to master. She offered suggestions while helping to keep our day special and unique. She always made sure my husband and I had everything we needed and would give us notice when it was time for the next event (parent dances, cake cutting/bouquet toss, etc) so we were always well prepared! I very highly recommend Julie to help make your day PERFECT!

I know she had a short window in which she had to set up, but you would have never known because the room was beautiful! Having been the first of my friends to get married, I was clueless where to start. Upon meeting them, I didn’t know what to expect. With being clueless to this all I didn’t think I needed an coordinator, I’m the more laid back/go-with-the-flow kinda girl. Let me say when Julie went over her side of things, I was dumbfounded. I didn’t realize how much actually goes into a wedding. She’s so organized and on top of things and not to mention so incredibly nice, I knew I needed her for the month of. My fiancé looked a two more people but NO ONE compared to Julie! When our month-of timeline hit, Julie took over everything. It was the best feeling and the biggest weight off my shoulders. I cant begin to express how organized she is; she sent me the timeline everything was precise down to the minute. We had a large wedding party (9 BM and 9 GM)
