Beautiful cake and tasted delicious! They were so easy to work with and extremely helpful.

We had a beautiful naked wedding cake made by Blue Cake for our wedding last week. It was simple and perfect! Very well done and oh so delicious. And, the sample box they gave me months ago was HUGE! So much fun. Ask for Katie, she rocks!

We chose to have The Blue Cake Co make our wedding cake after tasting it at a family members birthday party. It was absolutely delicious and we knew that all of our guests would think so too! Katie did awesome at walking us through the process of cake testing and deciding what we wanted with what type of design and how much we would need. They arrived early on our wedding day to set everything up perfectly! I highly recommend them for any occasion!

I will be completely honest here, as I am sure someone looking to spend the money to purchase a nice cake would be interested in honesty. My wife and I have used Blue Cake for years. We used them for our wedding and for multiple birthdays for ourselves and our children over the years. Their cakes have always been good. If you would have asked me a year ago, my review would be much different. Back in May, for my wife's birthday, I ordered the same cake we always get. It wasn't up to the normal standards, so I called, and the manager was extremely nice. She refunded the full price of the cake and even sent a $10 gift certificate; wonderful customer service. For my birthday (August), my wife ordered the same cake (over the phone) and gave the gift certificate number over the phone. When she went to pick it up, the owner (Steve), refused to honor the gift certificate, as my wife forgot the gift certificate at home. Now, I understand we are only talking $10, but here is my point. Steve could have just reduced the amount we owed by $10, instead he went into a tirade about how the gift certificates are like checks and the bank has to have them. I, working in food service for over 15 years, know that just isn't true. He was rude and spoke to my wife in a very defensive way. She paid full price and was told by Steve if we mailed him the gift certificate, he would mail us a $10 check. My wife called me, very upset and told me what I happened. I immediately called him and spoke with him. He was very defensive and spoke over me most of the conversation. At the end, he said he would call my wife and apologize. He never did. We posted a review on Facebook, which he deleted. We mailed the gift certificate, and never got the $10 check. We called him back, in which he completely exploded, saying we were wrong and he didn't nothing wrong, used foul language and hung up. This could have all been avoided had he done what all successful business owners do, treat the customer right. Instead of being defensive, an apologize would have been all that was needed. Also, doing what he said he was going to do would have gone a long way. Now, we go out of our way to let people know, don't do business with Blue Cake. If you do, stay far away from Steve.

We wanted a nice wedding cake, but not an over-the-top cake. On advice from recently-married friends, we contacted the Blue Cake Company and were glad we did. We started with a "cake-tasting" meeting with Katie where she gave us a number of choices and lots of friendly advice. Katie actually met us outside normal hours for this session due to our tight schedule. We selected a design which was both simple and elegant; in short, just what we wanted. However, it got better. The cake was delivered on time, and in accordance with agreed-upon protocols (whom to contact at the hotel, etc.). We very much appreciated the professionalism of the person doing the delivery as he provided valuable advice as to how to store the cake, environment, etc. The cake was beautiful, the staff was friendly and professional, and the price was reasonable. Did we mention that the cake was delicious? We would highly recommend The Blue Cake Company to anyone planning a wedding or other event. Ken & Michele Coe

I absolutely loved working with blue cake company and the wedding cake and grooms cake turned out amazing! We had a 5 tier cake and an detailed design for the grooms cake and they turned out exactly like I imaged- they were awesome! The cake taste delicious!! The strawberry cake is amazing and my favorite. We also got chocolate, red velvet, and vanilla which were good as well. One of my bridesmaids went to the tasting with me and now she is planning on using them for her own wedding as well. Could not ask for more!

I had them do my bride and groom's cake. The coloring(Groom's Cake only) was not as expected, but other than that, the cake was yummy. My Bride's Cake was beautiful and they were on time and the cake was very fresh!

The Cakes looked amazing and tasted even better. I will use them for ever major event in my life to come. They did a great job!!!!!

The blue cake company made both the bride and grooms cakes for my wedding. The brides cake was a five teir, and beautiful. It was half vanilla, half red velvet and it was really the best cake I have ever had. The grooms cake was a 3D cake that was chocolate with chocolate frosting and it was so delicious. I would recommend them to anyone for weddings, birthdays or any other special occasion.

They were pretty much our only option for a great design and good taste. I would use them again.

Never again! My wedding was in May 2012. A friend recommended Blue Cake Company. I provided pictures of what I wanted the cake to look like – three tier, square, black and white fondant, defined square corners, simple, elegant – and the owner promised the cake would look like the pic. When I saw the cake I was horrified, hurt, embarrassed, and the rest of my day was ruined. Not only did the cake NOT have the square edges as promised, the bottom tier had finger/thumb indentions on the sides (I can only guess this happened during delivery), the cake was noticeably uneven and the strips of fondant were crooked and had seams showing. Compared to the pic of the cake I showed the owner, my cake looked like a child’s arts and craft project. The cake did not look like it was decorated by a professional and I was extremely embarrassed by the presentation of the cake. If I had seen the cake when it was being delivered, I would have refused delivery. The cake looked so horrible I asked the photographer not to include pics of the cake in my photo album. My guests complimented me on every aspect of the wedding, but no one mentioned or complimented the cake. When my husband and I tasted the cake, it did not taste like the cake we sampled during the cake tasting. A couple of days later, I asked some of my guests how the cake tasted and they told me the cake was dry. My husband and I both spoke with the owner of Blue Cake about our disappointment with the cake and he was very apologetic and gave a full refund, but that part of my wedding day was ruined and there are no do-overs. He also promised to send us a gift which we have yet to receive. Unfortunately, the memory of my wedding cake is one that I would really rather soon forget as this is not a memory I can cherish. I still don’t understand how they could have delivered something that looked so bad. I will never use this bakery again.

My husband and I went in to do our cake tasting and final decision making 9 months before the wedding. I had so many thoughts on the Wedding cake and they helped create the perfect cake. We loved all the flavors we had... it was soo delicious!!! We did chocolate cake with oreo filling on one layer, vanilla cake with peanut butter filling on the second and strawberry cake with fresh strawberry filling on the third layer; then Italian cream cake for the Groom's cake. ALL were wonderful!! I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a cake for any occasion.

I had petit fours for my wedding. I first tried them at a bridal fair and instantly fell in love. They melted in your mouth. I had so many compliments at the wedding on the petit fours. Trust me when I say, you will LOVE them. My favorite are the chocolate!

I had a 4 tier cake with alternating flavors of chocolate and vanilla with a raspberry filling. Classic flavors, the case was moist and delish! I had a cream cheese icing that was sweet but not too sweet. Even the fondant was divine.

For our wedding, we had a 4-tiered peacock wedding cake and a groom's cake decorate with a 3-D Angry Birds scene. The cakes both turned out more beautiful and fun than we could have ever imagined. The bakery is very easy to work with (we even sent in our own sketches for the design of the cakes) and the flavors that they let us use in the cake were amazing and exotic.

They did our wedding cake and cupcakes for the groom's cake. The wedding cake was just exactly like the picture i took to them. The cupcakes were so cute. It was probably the best tasting cake i had ever had. would def recommend them to anyone!!!

We got both our wedding cake and groom's cake from Blue Cake Co. We received so many compliments on both! We were able to create the cake however we wanted. The designers were accomodating for any type of design. Blue Cake can be more difficult to get a hold of because of their popularity. Most of time you have to leave a message and they will call you back. Overall great product!

They did an amazing job on my cake. I gave them a picture and they were able to re-create it perfectly. It also was delicious. Many compliments from people at my wedding on the cake.

We had ourwedding cake and groom's cake made by Blue Cake, and they were absolutely the best wedding cakes ever. Everyone raved how they were the best cakes they'd ever tried. Some of our out-of-town guests even came by our house the next day to take some home with them, because it was that good!
