ntha was really helpful, walked me through the whole process, and answered all my crazy, stressed out questions. Because our wedding was right after the 4th of July, the delivery schedule was a little wonky, but they worked with me to make sure the flowers still looked in good shape the day of the wedding. The flowers arrived the Tuesday before our Saturday wedding (without the holiday, they would normally arrive on Wednesday). The Bouqs and Samantha gave us a bunch of tips and How-To guides to keep them alive and prep the flowers. They arrived in a bunch of big boxes, and looked great once they got a little water. On Thursday, I started putting together the bouquets and it was super easy with the guides. Unfortunately, it was really hot the day we got married, so everything looked a little wilted, but before we took them all outside they looked pretty good! We had a bunch of extras and were able to make some extra small centerpieces and table decorations to scatter around. We also ordered a few regular bouquets for thank you gifts for the women who threw us showers and other events and they've always turned out great as well!

y no frills. We received the box and we had to set up most of it ourselves, but it wasn’t too hard to do. However, there was a moment of panic when we received the flowers, and we were missing the bridal bouquet (?!), and it was very stressful to get them on the phone and near impossible to get them on the phone and resolve the issue. In the end, after some persistence and work, we were able to get another bouquet shipped our ASAP, and we were good to go. Since our wedding was in a beautiful garden with a lot of flowers already there, we didn’t need a lot of flowers, so I can’t speak to what BOUQs can provide for larger orders. But for what we needed, it was fine. Obviously, the biggest selling point is how economical the prices were. But on fulfillment and customer service, it was maybe not worth the headache.

The only pain in the ass is finding where to refrigerate them. Our caterer was kind enough to let us use his big fridge. If you want to cut your flower costs in half and don’t mind doing like 2 hours work, then this is for you!

ived and looked as the website said they would, not quite bloomed yet but still beautiful. Overall, we had more than enough flowers and they all bloomed up wonderfully. Total, I think we threw away 5-10 flowers that broke or were brown. The other 700-something pieces were wonderful. We got so many compliments on the arrangements and bouquets and people were shocked to learn that we had done them ourselves with absolutely no flower arranging experience. I will also say that the process is not super personal, you get a consultant (I'm not even sure if this was a real person or an automated service honestly). However, we were able to save about $3,000 and have gorgeous roses at our wedding so bottom-line, I think it was worth it.

had them arrive 2 days prior to my event. Definitely recommend giving yourself some breathing room with delivery time. I love the idea of Bouqs--direct farm to consumer is huge for me and the price was phenomenal.

was shortly after one of the hurricanes which disrupted shipping from South America. I understand that that can throw things into flux--and, had there been no flowers coming into the country or anything like that, Bouqs would not have been at fault. But that's not what happened. Instead, some of my flowers arrived a day early (and I was not informed that they would be arriving early until *after* they were already sitting and wilting at my apartment). Then, Bouqs told me that everything else should arrive on-time--and that the early shipment had actually been due to the hurricanes. Shortly after that came conflicting news: Bouqs let me know that some of the shipment hadn't made the flight out, and would likely (but not for sure) arrive late. I asked Bouqs if they could help me find flowers in the area (I'm in the DC/MD/VA area), and they gave me nothing. I, then--not Bouqs--was on the phone with FexEx multiple times in hopes that they could get the flowers into the country on time--but they unfortunately were unable to. Turns out, there were plenty of flowers in the DMV area. With the help of family, I visited five Trader Joe's and was (barely) able to replace the missing flowers (over 200 stems, including over 60 hydrangeas). That wasn't exactly the way I was planning to spend several of the last 48 hours before my wedding; it was stressful not knowing if or when flowers were going to show up at my apartment, being in contact with FedEx, and then running around town to buy replacement flowers. Thankfully, it all worked out--but no thanks to Bouqs. They did very little to help me, and I even had to request a refund for the missing flowers. (They should have, in my view, refunded the entire order, but did not.) Anyway, I can't recommend Bouqs to anyone. The flowers that did arrive looked nice, but good customer service and willingness to go the extra mile is essential in this sort of business. What I got was anything but that.

g was a breeze and going this was saved me 25% at least. My flowers were delivered three days prior to the wedding (which happened to be Halloween), we planned a morning flower party two days before the wedding, and all of that went REALLY well. We followed all of the instructions and "recipes" but ended up with about 50 extra blooms. Probably because I chose not to use some of the flowers for the flower girls petals and I skipped the toss bouquet. In the three days leading up to the wedding, some of the eucalyptus died due to user error, but everything was salvaged, but the flowers opened up beautifully! I was concerned about the constellation roses being so tiny, but they just exploded and looked SO beautiful in our bouquets. The stress actually came from trying to keep the flowers alive. We had to find places to store them between 45-60 degrees and that is NOT an easy task. We were told there was floral storage at our hotel, but upon checking in, we found that wasn't the case. But we made it work! It was a bit of a hassle and I definitely wouldn't do it again, but it was a great experience with my wedding party leading up to the wedding. And all the boutonnieres and bouquets looked GORGEOUS.

I wanted. To be fair, they do include a disclaimer saying they will switch out your flowers if they can't find them but I wish that I had been consulted or at least informed. I wish that I had read the fine print more carefully because I was very disappointed.

so I chose the Eternal prepackaged bundle. It had everything I needed, plus some extra flowers for small decorations. It was easy to order and pay and the flowers came packaged very well. Everything arrived 2 days before my wedding and there were not any damaged flowers. My only small complaint is that they didn't send me the tracking info as early as I would have liked, my flowers arrived 15 minutes after I got the tracking info and I had to scramble a bit to prepare vases. The flowers held up nicely and looked beautiful- no one could believe that I just picked them out online! I would use them again.

really care about making your special day perfect. They have spectacular knowledge of flowers, and can help guide you to what types of flowers will travel and last the best. One great thing was that I ordered my flowers back in November (for a March wedding), and I could forget about the flowers. A few weeks before the wedding, they followed up, and closer to the wedding, send tracking numbers for the flowers. They provide DIY stem recipes, as well as links to videos to help you put together your flowers, along with how to strip and trim your flowers and how to store them between arrival and your event. The thing that took the most time was stripping the flowers. A lot of my flowers came pre-stripped, but I did have to do the roses myself (which they tell you about, so it's no surprise). Invest in a rose stripper (or borrow one, like me!) - it will change your life. This took the most time only because I was to stubborn to ask anyone for help, but I would say it took about 2-3 hours for the smallest package. I was very lucky to have four aunts attend my wedding who ended up being total pros at putting together bouquets and centerpieces. Between my aunts and my sister, they were able to put together four bouquets, six boutonnieres and eight centerpieces in two hours. I have a feeling this is not the norm, so I might plan a little extra time. Last but not least, price. You cannot cannot cannot beat Bouqs for the price and quality. My flowers were absolutely gorgeous (shipped direct from Ecuador), and seriously your flowers will cost you at minimum 1/4th of the price of what you would pay a florist. Even having to purchase vases, ribbon, wire, etc., I spent less than $800. Go with Bouqs, you will absolutely not regret it.

e the quality of the flowers and I was impressed. So I filled out the wedding consult form and Meghann quickly got back to me. They have a variety of different packages and all extremely affordable! I sent her a few pictures of bouquets that were my inspiration and she picked out the flowers for me. It was such an easy process! Fast forward to my wedding week and the greenery arrived a day earlier than scheduled. It took a while for me to get a hold of someone to make sure that the flowers were still coming. Sure enough, Meghann called me and assured me that the flowers would be arriving on time the next day. When the flowers arrived I was impressed. I was expecting dead flowers, but 80% of them were in great condition. My mother-in-law and myself prepped all the flowers and put them in buckets of water. That probably took 3-4 hours. The next day, my husband and I started to arrange the bouquets. It was so much fun! And we didn't need an assembly-line of people. It was a lot easier than I expected. We made 4 bridesmaid bouquets, 1 bridal bouquet, and 4 smaller bouquets for our moms/grandmoms. This took about 2.5 hours. The next day we checked into our venue and a friend did all of our centerpieces and boutonnières. The following day, (our wedding day), and I couldn't be more impressed with the flowers. Each flower was fully bloomed and the bouquets looked beautiful. The photographers couldn't believe that we made them ourselves. Everyone was commenting on the flowers because they looked so beautiful and it felt so amazing to be able to say that "Yeah, I made that!!!" The flowers lasted so long and they smelled amazing for about 10 days after the wedding. Then they slowly began to wilt over. Over all, I would highly recommend the Bouqs Co and doing your flowers yourself. We saved about 70% doing it ourselves. We have no experience in floristry (we both work in the healthcare field), and we lack the creative skills. However, it was so much fun arranging them and seeing the finished product. Everyone loved the flowers and couldn't believe that my husband and I actually made all of the bouquets our selves. Thank you so much for such affordable and beautiful flowers. You are now my go-to flower company.
