At a young age, I developed a passion for baking. It started around the age of 7 with homemade doughnuts, cookies, and cinnamon rolls. When I got older I began to make pies and cakes; and during my teenage years, cheesecake. At the age of 17, I realized that I wanted to be a professional baker. While in college I perfected my technique of making cheesecake and was known for Caramel Apple Cheesecake, Sweet Potato Cheesecake, Turtle Cheesecake, and Mocha Cheesecake. But, as you know, life happens; and it wouldn't be until early 2014 that I would start to focus on baking once again. However, this time, my focus is cake.
