Growing up in Greenwood, DE I was raised with an appreciation for good food. My grandmother was Amish & worked for an Italian family, while my mother grew up on a farm in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. We valued homemade, local and fresh food for every meal. At a very young age my mother pulled us kids into the kitchen to show us the importance of feeding the family. Every night at dinner we would come together at the table to count our blessings and enjoy a meal made from scratch. This is how it all started. I decided to attend culinary school after high school and obtained a Culinary Arts Degree.
