So thrilled we chose The Century Room for our reception. They could have not been easier and were a huge part of making our reception a success. They thought of things we didn't, were flexible and I couldnt not say enough good things about them. Julie and her team were incredible. Highly Highly recommend them.
I cannot say enough great things about Chandler and her team at the Century Room! They were such a breeze to work with and truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for our special day. We planned a destination wedding from South Florida and it was never an issue with the Century Room. The event space was beautiful and the food was great. Everyone is still talking about how much they loved the venue. Their staff work with you in every aspect of your event and are very responsive to emails, phone calls, and anything you need for you big day. We had multiple changes arise the week of the wedding and the staff could not have been more accommodating. We are so grateful to have had our wedding reception at The Century Room!
I am so happy that we decided to have our wedding reception at The Century Room! Not only is it a beautiful and unique venue, but Chandler and her team were so easy and fun to work with! They went above and beyond to make our wedding day easy and stress free. They are so organized and made it very easy on me when working through the planning process. Our guests had such a great time and we received so many compliments on how delicious the food was (we had the lemon rosemary chicken, BBQ brisket, roasted veggies and mac-n-cheese)! We choose the family style dining and it was a hit - highly recommended! We had some children in attendance and the one thing that stood out as a special added touch was that they made a point to have kids meals prepared and ready for the kids when they got to the reception. This was a much appreciated touch that made for some very happy parents. Another really cool moment that we had (and that is unique to only The Century Room) was when we entered the venue. We choose to enter through the restaurant and go up the back staircase. When the bridal party walked in the entire restaurant started cheering and applauding for us! It was such a minor thing but made for a really cool moment.
Century room was the perfect venue for both our ceremony and reception! Chandler and her team are super professional and flexible! Being right downtown was a big plus in the eyes of so many of our guests who were able to spend time exploring Asheville prior to the wedding. Speaking of guest feedback, the food was a big hit (Mac and cheese all the way!). My husband and I are so incredibly pleased with every single moment of that day and we cannot thank Century Room enough for making it so wonderful and stress-free!
We had our reception here and it was amazing! The staff was super friendly and professional. Working with Chandler was a dream! She answered all our questions and worked with us on some complicated aspects to our reception with no problems at all. She met with us on several occasions and helped us stay on budget. The food was some of the best food I've ever had at a wedding reception. All of our guests raved about the Mac' N 'Cheese...amongst the rest of it of course! You don't need much for decorations as the space itself is unique and beautiful. We had more than enough space to move around with about 120 guests, including vendors. The location is terrific, in the heart of downtown Asheville, and very easy to get to. As far as the price, it was one of the more affordable options in Asheville, but you would never guess that given the high quality of everything. It was a amazing experience from beginning to end and I would recommend The Century Room to anyone to celebrate your big day! Oh and Pack's Tavern, which is downstairs, is an awesome place to grab food and drinks too!
Words cannot express how much we loved working with Chandler and The Century Room. From our first contact throughout the entire year of planning, Chandler was always so responsive and helpful. Not one detail was missed during the planning process. Not only was the food amazing, but the staff at The Century Room were so professional and kept the event moving along with the timeline Chandler and I had previously discussed. The space was more than beautiful and literally took my breath away when my husband and I were introduced. If we could do it all over again we would pick The Century Room every time. It was the perfect evening and such a dream come true!
We cannot rave enough about The Century Room! Chandler was absolutely amazing to work and really worked with us to plan every detail. We knew from the moment we met her that we wanted to work with The Century Room. The venue is very reasonably priced, the space is beautiful, the food was amazing, and the service is top notch! I would definitely recommend to anyone planning a special event!
We cannot say enough positive remarks about our experience with Chandler and the team at The Century Room. First there’s the space: it’s simply elegant, yet inviting. We were looking for a space that was architecturally interesting enough to minimize the amount of other decorations needed, and this place fit the bill perfectly. Second, there’s the food and the event staff: it was delicious, and they were happy and professional. Third, there’s Chandler, the event space coordinator: she was perfect. Sometimes it felt we put her through the wringer with our questions, yet she consistently responded to us with nothing less than professional enthusiasm and patience. She was incredibly accessible whenever we needed information from her. There were several instances in which we met with Chandler and walked away surprised at how above and beyond she had seemed to go in preparing for our meetings and satisfying our needs during them. Everything about working with the team of professionals at The Century Room was top notch!

Chandler at the Century Room was great to work with! She made sure that we had everything we envisioned. We had a few last minute changes to our menu, bar options and room layout and she handled them with no problem. She made the updates right away and made sure we were comfortable with everything before the event. Chandler worked with us to ensure our small (100 guest) wedding was setup perfect and didn't feel overwhelmed by the large space etc. We loved the brick walls and wooden beams in the venue. The custom lighting package the Century room offered give the space a rustic yet sophisticated feel. If we were planning out wedding again I would book the Century Room right away! We loved the venue and staff!

April and Mary are great to work with! They made things easy and simple. It's a great space, got so many compliments!! The food was delicious! The staff was very friendly during the reception too. Was a perfect venue, easy for the guests to find, parking was no problem, and if staying downtown can easily walk to one of the many hotels. Planning was a breeze with them! Would definitely recommend!

The Century Room on the Park was a great reception location. The room itself has great character. It also has a large bar for easy access, plenty of room for dancing, and the food was awesome. It is in a great location in downtown Asheville right near a ton of free public parking, the rest of the nightlife, and hotels. April and Mary are so great to work with, and they were very accommodating when it came to food and drink tastings and working with us on our table arrangements. April and the crew even handled a night-of "crises" flawlessly. Pricing was very reasonable for Asheville.

We held our wedding reception for 130 guests at the Century Room. From the minute we visited the space 13 months before our wedding all the way through the days after the wedding, the space and the managers were perfect. Mary and April were so easy to work with and accommodated all of our special requests. They never said no and they always work with us to stay within our budget but still have the amazing wedding we hoped for. The food from Chef French was amazing and we really challenged him by requesting authentic Greek and Italian cuisine. He did not disappoint. The room is absolutely beautiful and did not require much decoration or decor which helped us save on floral and the like. The view is gorgeous and Pack Square is the perfect location for pictures. I cannot say enough how wonderful it was to work with Mary and April. They were so amenable to everything we wanted and just went out of their way to make the night everything we dreamed of. They did not stress me out at all and just followed me lead through the process. They were flexible and did everything they could to accommodate us. We are so glad we picked the Century Room for our reception. Our guests said it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. We agree! Only one word can describe it - perfect!

The Century Room was amazing for our wedding. We wanted a modern downtown feel and that's exactly what we got. The food was delicious! Guests are still telling me how great the food was. Mary, the coordinator, was easy to work with and willing to make us happy. She was even able to pull off a ceremony and reception with time to flip the room and 130+ guests. Couldn't have asked for a better day!

We highly recommend the Century Room as a venue for a wedding reception. The space is beautiful and the food was great (our guests continue to rave about the short ribs). It was a pleasure to work with Mary. She provided very helpful and accurate information when we had questions. We also loved the location of the Century Room. Our guests mostly walked from their hotels and then walked to bars afterward.

The Century Room is such a beautiful venue on it's own. I didn't need tons of decorations to make this spot wonderful. I got tons of compliments and my special day was perfect!
