The Chapel at West Parish is such a gorgeous, intimate chapel that makes you feel like you've stepped back in time when you enter it. The grounds are gorgeous for photographs but the best part of having your wedding at the Chapel at West Parish is the wedding coordinator, Nancy Simili. Nancy was there every step of the way assuring us that our daughter's wedding would go without a hitch. And it did. She was the calm, reassuring voice that got us through the rehearsal and the day of the wedding. I knew everything was going to be perfect because of Nancy. And it was a truly perfect day.
We had our ceremony at the Chapel at West Parish in July. This chapel is absolutely STUNNING inside and out!! There are Tiffany stained glass windows that glow when you have candles and the atmosphere was so romantic. The ceremony was at 430 in the afternoon, it was air conditioned unlike a lot of the older chapels that I've been in, so our guests were very comfortable. The grounds were beautiful! Behind the chapel, there is a little pond with a fountain in the center, huge trees around it and beautiful stone benches. We got tons of photos that are gorgeous. The front of the chapel has beautiful stone work and the double doors have gorgeous wood and iron work, like a castle. Nancy is the chapel coordinator and she is AMAZING to work with! She's fun, easy to talk to, and knows everything there is to know about wedding ceremonies. We were very excited to be able to work with her and everything went perfectly! She was always available to answer any questions we had. My husband and I went to see this chapel for our ceremony first , and we never went looking any where else. Honestly, that's how amazing this place is. Highly recommend Nancy and the Chapel at west parish.
Beautiful Inside and OutsideReviewed on 10/19/2015 Elizabeth G
When we decided that we were getting married, we wanted a church but couldn't get married in a church. We started looking into other ideas. We came across The Chapel at West Parish. We talked with Nancy back and forth for months before we finally went and looked at it. Just walking up to the front and seeing it covered in snow we knew it was the place for our fall wedding the following year. We booked it on the spot through email. Over the next year we emailed back and forth never meeting until this summer when we showed our mothers the chapel. They knew right away why we picked it. When we finally did meet Nancy in July we just knew she was going to be great to work with. She really walked us though everything and pointed out all these different spots to do pictures and everything. It was just as pretty without the snow. When we came to the day before and had the whole wedding party she walked us through and everyone had a great time. The day of she set up everything just as we wanted and the church looked great! The Chapel at West Parish is just amazing location. With its stone arches, stone bridge, children's garden and pond out back its the best setting we could get for the best of being inside and outside for pictures! Thank you Nancy for everything and 10-4-15 was better then expected!
Thew Chapel at West Parish was everything we had dreamed our ceremony would be. Everything was absolute perfection! Nancy was wonderful to work with--very attentive and sincere! Every single one of our guests told us it was the best ceremony they've ever been to. I highly recommend the Chapel at West Parish if you are craving an intimate, romantic and beautiful space for your ceremony!!
Perfect for a cozy intimate wedding ceremony!Reviewed on 1/20/2015 Renee C
From the moment we drove up to this venue we knew it was perfect. It was located in a beautifully up kept cemetery. Everyone I interacted with, Nancy, Kathy and Mark, were extremely prompt in their emails and phone calls as well as attentive and so incredibly nice. The Chapel is beautiful inside and out. It is equipped with a sound system and microphone if needed. The chapel is so quaint and cozy that our officiant was fine talking a little louder than normal and everyone could hear him perfectly. They were absolutely fine with us having our best friend marry us as long as we had all the necessary paperwork. If you don't have an officiant they can provide some that they have worked with before. There was a working organ that we were able to bring in our own organist to play. When we booked the chapel, they provided me with multiple vendors that they work with regularly and highly recommend. We didn't use any of their vendors but I would take Nancy and Kathy's word for whoever they recommend. We were able to walk around the grounds and take pictures. There is a beautiful pond with a fountain behind the chapel as well as a gorgeous stone bridge that made for amazing pictures. Kathy made sure the day went smooth with no issues whatsoever. I would HIGHLY recommend any couple to have their wedding ceremony at this chapel.
Beautiful & serene setting near BostonReviewed on 1/15/2015
We chose The Chapel for functional reasons (i.e. it's non-denominational, nearby Boston, in State of Massachusetts, etc.), but soon developed a very emotional attachment to it. The chapel and grounds are gorgeous and private; importantly, they photograph stunningly. The acoustics are wondrous; we used a mix of live singing and recorded music during the ceremony (note: make sure you coordinate your own music player if you use pre-recorded). The staff was responsive to our needs. We could not be happier.
Perfect Little Chapel!Reviewed on 8/28/2012 Laura C
This was the perfect chapel for us because we were only having 60 guests and they were able to fit comfortably in this small and intimate chapel. Anyone having a wedding with less than 120 guests should consider the chapel for their ceremony.
West Parish Chapel is a perfect intimate setting fReviewed on 3/27/2012 Emily H
My husband and I were married by a justice of the peace at West Parish Chapel on 10.01.11. Our friends and family raved, how did we ever find such an intimate, beautiful setting. We were thrilled with our wedding chapel coordinator, Kathy. Kathy was everything you want – professional, organized, and super excited for us to tie the knot. Thank you to everyone who organizes West Parish Chapel. We have beautiful memories, and photos, that will last a life time. Xoxo The Burkes!
A storybook settingReviewed on 3/22/2012 Jerelyn S
I was married in the The Chapel at West Parish in November of 2011. My husband and I were looking for a warm and inviting place to start our life. We wanted to have our closest friends and family there to celebrate our special day and so we began looking for a venue and came across this chapel. From the moment we walked in, we felt it was right. The dark wood interior reminded us of something we had read in a storybook. It had a church-like feel that was also appealing. We were able to have our own clergy member at this site as well. An organist, recommended by the chapel coordinator, played all of our favorite hymns. The coordinator was fantastic, accommodating and always available. She did a perfect job making sure everyone in our wedding party knew exactly what their role was (which was a HUGE bonus as the bride!) Plenty of parking, exterior lighting for a late afternoon wedding and room for about 100 guests. We will be forever grateful that the chapel was available for our wedding and would highly recommend saying "I do!" there.
