WonderfulReviewed on 7/03/2015 Maradith N
I had a disaster scenario three months before our wedding in May. Our venue unexpectedly shut down under extremely shady circumstances. We got on the phone as soon as we found out. The Clock Tower had been one of our favorites initially and we were so relieved to find that someone had made a cancellation for our date so it was available. This was EXTREMELY lucky considering they are booked over a year and a half out. From that moment on everything went as smoothly as we could have hoped for. They worked with us on our accelerated timeline and relieved so much of the stress that was compounded by having to switch venues at the last minute. The venue is gorgeous, the food was delicious and the people were so nice and accommodating. It was everything a venue should be. I cannot recommend it more highly. It was more expensive than some of the options we had looked at, but it was well worth the price.
Exceptional ReceptionReviewed on 10/25/2014 Kati N
Malory, Kathleen, and the house DJ were integral parts to make our wedding reception exactly as we wanted it. Everyone in attendance had a wonderful time.
The Clock TowerReviewed on 11/20/2013 Katie L
Everyone was great to work with. The food was wonderful, and our DJ was perfect.
The last thing a parent wants at her daughter's wedding (especially after spending $25,ooo + for the celebration) is for her to end her reception in tears. What started as a very nice, professional relationship with Cathleen and her husband turned south as soon as our signature was on the contract. Although she offered her DJ, cake person, florist, she stated we could use our own. And when we did decide to go with our own, she became very difficult to work with. My daughter and groom never got the Guinness toast as promised. We paid for an extra hour (with a cash bar) for the venue and DJ that last hour proved a disaster. Servers were clearing freshly poured adult beverages our guests had purchased and barely touched from tables when they would go dance. Exceedingly high tips were automatically charged to there credit cards without their knowledge, and the owner told the DJ to stop playing music 45 min into the extra hour we purchased. The owner's bar service was extremely "shady" , so much so, a employee bartender apologized to me for the owners behavior. I felt awful and embarrassed as I heard story after story from my guests of how they were ripped off and treated rudely by the owner/bartender. The venue lost 50 of my votive candles that I provided. Although Cathleen replaced 25 of them, I'm simply out of luck with the rest. Many other negative occurrences took place...too many to list, and too upsetting to relive. The one good thing I can say about the venue (which is why this is a 2 star and not 1) is the food was good, and the service of the meal was fast. Other than that, I am sad to say, my other two daughters will definitely not have their reception there, as there are many many other favorable options in the Columbus area. I could never give them a favorable recommendation.
We had my Daughter's Quinceanera (Sweet 15)here based on the beautiful of the place and the owners stating that they had had many before, which was a lie!!They quoted one price to hook us, then up the price. They made many promises that was not kept, as to the back drop behind the head table, up lighting, what they was willing to allow, They played the wrong slide show, which was clearly marked "slide Show". The buffet was set up about 20 mins. late. They lied about running out of the beer we ordered 1 hour before we ended our event. They lost our person belonging which was a huge part of the planned performance that night. They lied about the time we exited the building, about the state of building when we left and lied about the state of cleanliness of the rest rooms. When I picked up my stuff the I found that they where missing and some items were broken. Then to top it off refused to refund my deposit. This event was 8/22/2015.
Great PlaceReviewed on 10/17/2013
My husband and I attended a wedding at the Clock Tower a few months ago and we were taken back by the beauty of the place. We didn’t expect it and were surprised. The staff there was so friendly and the food was fantastic. They have the best wedding food I have ever had. If we were not already married, I would have my wedding there.
OutstandingReviewed on 10/17/2013
We were married at the Clock Tower this summer and they made everything so simple. Cathleen and Malory are a great team and easy to work with and they complement each other very well. Malory handles all of the details on the floor while Cathleen is in the kitchen. My guests are still talking about the food, it was delicious. Clock Tower is a great place to hold your wedding and I would highly recommend them for any event!

My husband and I were extremely happy with how our wedding reception turned out. We did have a few small mishaps along the way but the end result was fantastic. Cathleen is an amazing chef and Mallory was extremely helpful at all times.

The food was amazing. The owner of The Clock Tower is also the main chef. And her food is the best!
Beautiful Wedding ReceptionReviewed on 9/03/2012 Brooke T
The Clock Tower was the perfect venue for our wedding reception. We wanted a very elegant reception and Cathleen helped us to achieve this. We received so many compliments on how beautiful the reception was and how nice the Clock Tower was as a venue. Cathleen helped us to make sure all details were set to go in advance so we had absolutely no worries on our big day. The food and atmosphere are wonderful, and the staff are great to work with. We highly recommend The Clock Tower!
Great atmosphere, needs a little improvementReviewed on 6/26/2012 Brittany S
We loved using the Clock Tower except for how they handled a few issues on the day of my wedding. Instead of confronting us at the end of the night about money that was still owed, the owner brought it up at our arrival for the reception. I enjoyed their facility and their food was very good. Just a few issues with charges that should have already been resolved and are still in need completion on the management side. We had in our contract that we had to have 3 bartenders and certain number of wait staff because of having 176 guests so that's what we paid for. At our actual reception we only had one bartender and our guests had to wait very often to get not only their alcoholic drinks, but anything other than water. Overall, I would recommend this venue because it is beautifully decorated for your event, the owner is very detailed and worked with us well for the most part, and what you pay is reasonable. The food was better than any wedding I have been to, and that's what people remember, besides your music!
Great Wedding!!Reviewed on 6/09/2012 Olga T
We recently had our wedding at the Clock Tower and everything was amazing. I think all brides dream about their big day and the Clock Tower was able to make my dream a reality. It was truly an amazing day!!
Could not ask for more!Reviewed on 12/03/2011 Jennifer Y
My husband and I recently had our reception at The Clock Tower. As soon as we walked in we knew it was definitly the right place for us because we had a pretty large guest list and the place was amazing and could sit a large amount of people comfortably. We got a lot for the price that we paid especially for how many people we were having! The price is so reasonable and the food is five star quality. Everyones steak was cooked to perfection, everyone is STILL telling me how amazing the food was. Kathleen and Christy really know what they are doing, they organize everything and are SO flexible. Two weeks before our wedding we forgot to book a DJ. They set us up with one that was perfect for us. We are so happy with our day and would reccomend them to anyone.
Perfect day in every way :)Reviewed on 10/06/2011 Marie L
We had our wedding reception at The Clock Tower a few weeks ago and it was truly everything I had pictured in my head for the past two years of planning. It felt like we had went back in time, my guests were STUNNED at the chandeliers hanging in the grand ballroom. The food was really, really yummy! We had a sit down meal, offering our friends and family lasagna or chicken piccata and a dessert buffet (I advise everyone to do this. the guests LOVED it!). All in all, it was beautiful and magical and romantic, I couldn't have asked for anything more. Kristy was AWESOME! We spoke on the phone almost everyday for two weeks leading up to the wedding, it was nice having reassurance that every detail and task was completed the way we wanted it. If you read this, thank you thank you thank you!
Fairytale wedding!Reviewed on 9/19/2011 Bailey C
From the moment I stepped into The Clock Tower, I knew this was the wedding I had pictured in my dreams since I was a little girl. The inside looks like place for a fairytale, so gorgeous. They have huge chandeliers that shimmer above the ballroom and natural lighting (which was something I couldn't find anywhere else). The food was SOOOO good, we offered our guests a choice of their amazing lasgana or chicken waikiki, everyone raved about the food. I think the best part was the staff, my coordinator Christy helped with every little detail, even the night before when I forgot we needed a bouquet to throw! She made one call and had it ready for us the day of the wedding. I can't say enough good things about my reception, my dreams came true and my family and friends had FUN! Which I think is the most important part! Thank you for everything!!!
mediocre organization but excellent day ofReviewed on 3/08/2011 Tiffany A

Review for The Clock TowerReviewed on 5/10/2010 Kristi K
Very pretty inside it's an extremely elegant place. The food was very good and the wait staff was excellent. They also did an excellent job with the set-up of the room.;The owner is definitely one that wants to please but I would watch what they tell you they can do. There were a couple of things in the beginning that we were told would be no problem and then they didn't happen. They tried to shut down the bar 45 minutes early even though we had paid for that time. The owner seems a little flustered every time I talk to her always mentioning that she's confused because she has so many brides.
