The Club at ArrowCreek is a private 36-hole golf club located in South Reno. With stunning city views and top of the line amenities, ArrowCreek is the perfect location to host your event! From small dinner parties and corporate events, to large weddings and holiday parties, The Club has something for everyone. There is an outdoor ceremony location with views of the city. On the inside the Terrace Room can accommodate up to 140 people, while the adjacent Vista Foyer and Vista Room can accommodate an additional 80 guests. Your event rental includes house linens, tables, chairs, flatware, glassware, bar, professional banquet staff and a personal event coordinator. Our wedding at The Club is still being talked about by our guests! The Executive Chef took the time to help us create a custom menu (I am gluten free) and all of the staff, including the Director of Events, were extremely helpful throughout the inquiry/booking/planning process. The venue space was set the night before so all of my vendors were able to get in first thing in the morning to finish setting up while my girls and I sipped champagne in the lockers rooms while getting our hair and makeup done :) When you book the venue they even give you a complimentary 4-some to play golf, which we were able to gift to my dad and father-in-law as a thank you! Our outdoor ceremony had gorgeous 360 degree views of downtown and the mountains. Couldn't recommend a better place to get married in Reno!

the venue was set in suchh a beautiful locatioon and the staff was helpful and friendly. after my first venue shut down, danielle was so nice and reduced my stress and amanda helped me enjoy my day without worrying about all the small details. she even helped with forgotten item

Overall my wedding at Arrowcreek Country Club was beautiful. That being said it was no thanks to the wedding coordinator Savannah. I originally chose the venue because of a different coordinator Blake, whom worked there previously. He quit a few months before my wedding and so I was stuck with his replacement. She seemed nice enough and promised me that everything would be taken care of. I met with her several times because I was nervous about a new person taking over my wedding and I was feeling good coming into it. However, I noticed she wasn't very available when I tried to call and email but let it go. She was there for rehearsal and rushed us through it, not asking my mother how to decorate the venue or what she could help with. Then the day of the wedding we told her we would be there at 11 and she was no where to be found. She ended up coming over an hour late. It was raining and my family was forced to move the ceremony to the tent, but Savannah never came to ask me if I wanted to do this, or to tell me how the ceremony would go now that is was moved. In fact, I never saw her until 5 minutes before the ceremony when she came to ask me if I was ready. My parents did all the decorating and tear down and the few things we did leave she couldn't "find anywhere". She also got my food incorrect and I felt didn't do her job at all. The rest of the venue, including the bartenders and waiters did a great job and my other vendors were awesome. But if you want a venue that has a wedding coordinator who knows what they are doing, don't choose Arrowcreek.

Beginning June 25th, 2011 I began corresponding with an employee at Arrow Creek Golf Club regarding my up and coming wedding scheduled for June 17th, 2012. After discussion with my fiance, we decided to do the reception at his parents home in Wingfield springs but wanted to do the ceremony off site. We, however, were very impressed with the Arrow Creek site and chose this as our ceremony location. I began discussing with Michelle Jennsen options for the ceremony. I was sent a document (see Attachment 1) that outlined pricing information. For a ceremony on the green, I was quoted $250. This document goes on the say that the site fees include set-up, break-down, and white folding chair rental. There are no stipulations which state that ceremony and reception must be booked together, nor was there a minimum price. Correspondence after being quoted ceased from Michelle. After I sent many e-mails and called a number of times trying to reach Michelle, without a response, I took it upon myself to call the general manager. Drew Yardley, the manager of Arrow Creek, returned my phone call and discussed this situation with me. Drew explained that they were in the process of hiring a new events coordinator as their previous events coordinator was no longer with them. Michelle Jennesen was merely stepping in to help take on the event coordinators tasks until new help was hired. A contract (see Attachment 2) was then sent from Michelle dated, and written which stated that my total fee would be $250 and that I was to be booked for June 17th, 2012. Correspondence again diminished and in a later phone conversation with Drew, he said that he would see to it that matters were taken care of and that if I were in fact quoted $250 that this fee would be honored. Another three weeks passed and this matter was still not finalized. I made a meeting on site to discuss matters. By this point, Danielle Tolleson, the new events coordinator had been hired. She was very understanding and was willing to work with me in this matter. She explained that $250 covered only the site fee and that additional fees would be added to compensate for the chairs and hired help for set-up and break-down. I was quoted another $75 for chairs and then $100 for set-up and break-down fees. This would have brought the total from $250 to $425. Danielle explained that she needed to go discuss this final number with Drew to have it approved. Drew, however, was not satisfied with this. He wanted to charge me $500 and with my contract add a three-month-out addendum stating that there would be a three-month stipulation. Within this stipulation they had the right to cancel the contract without notice or explanation if a member requested booking for this same date. I was obviously unhappy with this decision. Not only is this way out of the scope of what I was originally promised, this stipulation prevents any planning of a wedding because at any given moment my contract could be abolished. Drew joined this meeting and sat down to tell me that Arrow Creek was a private country club with 400 members who each pay $60,000 for membership fees and that their members take precedence over any outside persons. He went on the say that my $500 would be considered a "slap in the face...and a suicide to his career" and that the country club would be losing money on me. I am so glad we booked our wedding at ArrowCreek. They were so nice, professional, and helpful. I got numerous recommendations for vendors from them that turned out great, they were willing to negotiate price with us, and they did a great job of setting everything up so that I didn't have to worry about ANYTHING the day of my wedding except enjoying it. I wouldn't have had my wedding anywhere else. I have no complaints.

Cassie Pete is originally from Washington State, but moved to sunny northern NV eleven years ago after graduating from the University of Washington in Seattle. She has been in the events and golf industries most of her life and was a Lead Wedding/Event Planner for Once Upon a Time Events for the past eight years. Cassie enjoys meeting with clients and getting to know their individual personalities and styles while assisting them in seeing their vision for their big day come to life! In her free time, she likes to spend time exploring the outdoors with her husband and dogs
