Chartered by Congress in 1908, the Congressional Club Museum and Foundation is a non-profit organization of current and former spouses of Members of Congress, the United States Supreme Court and the President’s Cabinet who promote volunteerism, facilitate bi-partisan efforts, raise awareness of and support charities in the District of Columbia and throughout the nation, and support educational enrichment by preserving, collecting and exhibiting historical memorabilia of Congress and The Congressional Club. The historic clubhouse hosted its first wedding in 1923 and a century later, continues as a distinguished setting for weddings and private events.
