afety measures. He made everyone feel comfortable with all the changes, especially being able to throw the entire wedding outdoors on his beautiful property. The ambiance is just astonishing. My guests are still raving about how gorgeous everything was as well as the food and drink service. My husband and I had our own private servers (Syed’s son being one of them!) constantly ensuring we were well fed and had a drink in our hand. The Estate at Farrington Lake is truly a hidden gem and I am beyond grateful to have been able to have kept my original wedding date during these stressful times all because Syed was so accommodating!

Against our better judgment, my fiancé and I went through with planning our special day, which is supposed to be just that. Anyone personally affected by COVID-19 knows how devastating it can be. As the country is still so uncertain it would not be fair to put my loving 98 year old grandfather who helped raise me at risk of attending an event. My fiancé and I care more about our families and the lives that could be affected. In my opinion they made no reasonable accommodations for our wedding. These "accommodations" included having our wedding on Black Friday, moving our wedding to a Tuesday/Wednesday, or pushing our date back to March/April 2021 (which at the time was 11 months away, also limiting our ability to use the outside portions of the venue that we explicitly wanted to utilize). We have yet to hear back from the venue after our decision to cancel our wedding. While not responding to us via phone, email, or text, we were left to retain an attorney to send a demand letter just to get the venue to say something. Unfortunately, this also resulted in a lack of follow up after the initial conversation with our lawyer. This venue in my opinion, truly believes it is okay to take people's money and not provide a reasonable solution. We also understand this may be a difficult time for their business and suggested a compromise as we would no longer be able to use their establishment. Unfortunately like everything else, there was silence on their end to this as well. I am a school teacher who works tirelessly and selflessly to ensure equity to all students. I pride myself on doing the honorable thing at all times. In my opinion this is not an honorable establishment that I would work with ever again. I am beyond disappointed that I would have trusted such selfish individuals to host my special day. Please think twice, three times, maybe four, before you decide to book your special day with them. I am so sorry to every individual affected by COVID-19. I understand the severity of this and believe we will get through it.

dding that they've dreamed of. Syed and his team at The Estate at Farrington Lake made them happiest couple in the world by coming through and creating an amazing wedding day! When they had to cancel their August wedding at an indoor only venue, the scramble was on to find a suitable outdoor location. From the moment we met Syed and toured the venue, we felt like it was too good to be true. He came through in every aspect; from planning on short notice, to the on-site ceremony and the outdoor reception. The property is so beautiful and the food was incredible too! Syed and his wife are so kind and accommodating and are truly an example of how to operate a venue the right way! They put the needs of the bride and groom and their guests first and provided such a positive and memorable wedding day! We can't thank them enough!

(we were originally 8/28/20). I called Syed in a panic after hearing about his plan for outdoor weddings from our DJ (thank you POSHDjs!!!). Within hours we had a meeting set up and Syed helped us reconfigure our wedding vision in less than a month. He is patient, flexible, personable, and honest and he has a great team that shows up on that day to put the pieces together. It might sound cliche, but we were meant to get married at The Estate and wouldn't change it for the world!

e pandemic. We had changed the date and then had to change the location. The Estate at Farrington Lake was recommended by our original vendor as an outside option. As soon as we met Syed, we knew that his goal was to adjust to the pandemic regulations and concerns while assuring us the wedding we wanted. He lowered the price and reduced the minimum number of guests, which he further reduced as our number of guests continued to fall because of the pandemic. Outdoor weddings were new to the venue but by the time we met with him, he had already thought it through. Because cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres were required to be passed, we had concerns about the quantity and quality of the appetizers. Those concerns were totally unfounded. Our guests raved about them and stated that they were plentiful.  Estate's  gorgeous gardens and landscape provided a lovely setting for our celebration and for our wedding photos.. Syed worked with us to create a safe reception area. Which beautifully accommodated both our marriage ceremony and our reception while maintaining social distancing. As promised, the meals were exquisite as was the presentation of our wedding cake to our guests. Service was excellent from beginning to end. The wait staff was unobtrusive, professional and efficient. Syed played an active role in overseeing the various aspects of the event. We speak in detail of the changes that had to be made because it demonstrates the Estate at Farrington Lake's ability to turn on a dime and always assure the best event possible. It also provides an inkling of what it would be like under regular conditions.. We truly feel fortunate and grateful to have been able to have our wedding ceremony and reception at the Estate at Farrington Lake.

ng was on point. His servers were quick to clean and the bartenders were quick to pour. There was never a line for the bar because of the amount of servers and professionalism they had. Syed had a staff member for my husband and I the entire night and before we could even ask her for another drink, she had one in her hands. I have gotten so many compliments about the food, the venue, the ground, and the staff. Syed made sure the day ran smoothly and not a minute behind. He knows his stuff. Even his wife was there to help things run smoothly. They are a power team! Everyone at his venue went above and beyond for not only us but all my guests. I had the time of my life! I could not have asked for a better wedding! Get married here, you wont regret it!

go anywhere else. The bridal suite is very spacious. We didn’t get ready at the venue but if you wanted to, the bridal suite is big enough for everyone. The staff was very accommodating and worked with us to have extra food on the tables and have cocktail hour before the ceremony. All the guests raved about the food! My favorite part was that we had the venue for the entire day and we were the only party there. If you’re looking for a space that hosts only one party at a time with gorgeous views, this is the venue for you!

nd this venue if you are looking for something on the water (lake). Everything is included at this venue, even the cake. The only thing not included are the center pieces. Due to the floor to ceiling windows with a view of the grounds the center pieces should be very simple. Aside from that, this is not a DIY venue. Everything is there for you unless you are looking to bring something specific. It is the perfect venue if you aren’t into DIY. The only thing I wish was that I ate more at cocktail hour. No other complaints, everything went smoothly!

o and the renovations in just the two years from when we booked to the day of the wedding were stunning. One of the biggest additions he made that meant so much to me was the added bridal suite. It was really important to have a place for my bridal party and I to be able to have before and if needed during the wedding. Syed was always extremely helpful with any questions we would have. When I would throw a crazy idea at him he would figure out how to make it happen! The grounds are amazing and the perfect place to take your photos by the lake. We loved how the ceremony has the lake background and that even if it rained the backup options would still have that! The cocktail hour space is just as stunning with the stone patio jutting over the lake. The food was absolutely amazing and our guests raved about everything they ate! We added the pipe and drape to the ballroom which I personally felt gave the space an extra touch especially for entrances to give you that grand entrance feel. The fact that the ballroom has floor to ceiling windows all lakeside facing gives you those amazing views again but the ballroom itself has this extremely classy feel. It was the perfect mix for us of rustic outdoors with classy sophistication. If you book here (which you should) make sure you have the chicken ariane on your menu! Seriously my mouth is still watering over it! Our day/night was absolutely perfect and I could not thank Syed, his wife and whole team enough for allowing us to want for nothing that night and treating us like family at every step of the way. Thank you thank you thank you <3

worked with us completely from the guest minimum, to everything in between. Anything you want, he makes happen! He is extremely responsive, helpful and always catering to everything you could need/want to make you happy. Our wedding day was simply amazing. The landscaping and grounds are truly outstanding and look incredible in wedding photos, the food is delicious and there is so much included in the packages (my guests are still raving about it), and the inside of the venue is also all open windows with a view of the lake and grounds and it is also very modern (which is something that was hard to find in other venues). They also have a bridal cottage with a bride and groom side, which is newly renovated and you have for the whole wedding day which is very convenient! Our wedding day was truly spectacular and I would chose the Estate over and over again if I were to do everything again! Highly recommend!

re for us. We had SO many compliments on how beautiful the venue was (couldn't hurt that we had absolutely perfect weather), had great the food was, the super-cool bar, EVERYTHING. a was, we were completely sold. Being completely honest, we didn't do too much research and asked very general questions, but because we loved the aesthetics of the courtyard, we signed. I will say, I went through moments of doubt and worry, especially since we were supposed to get married in April--the month of rain and unexpected temperatures. First, let me tell you how flexible Syed (the manager) is. We had originally signed for April 6th, but he knew that I was looking for a later date in April (in hopes of warmer weather) so as soon as he had an open slot for late April, he contacted me and we had the date changed--keep in mind, this was still within the first month of signing. I was not a bridezilla, but I was definitely an anxious bride.. with a lot of questions and worry. Let me tell you, after every conversation with Syed, I came out feeling so satisfied and confident. Now, for the actual wedding day.. it was supposed to rain, but weather ended up being BEAUTIFUL!! Syed had a back-up rainy day ceremony plan in mind, but luckily we didn't have to resort to that. Seriously, he and his wife Niki are the BEST team ever. They really know what they are doing and do all that they can to make sure you have the perfect wedding. Syed is fully confident in his service and I can definitely see why!! He has many years of experience so he's seen it all and knows it all! Moving onto the food... which WAS DELICIOUS. I cannot rave enough about how delicious the food was. A lot of our guests came up to us at the end of the night, complimenting the food. The cocktail hour food was BOMB--seafood, sushi, sliders, etc. There is such a wide range of selection for all sorts of guests. Syed even went out of the way to make Korean-style pork because we are Korean and he wanted to make something special for us. The main course was DELICIOUS. The steak was cut so thick, and the fish was so fresh. As the bride and groom, we were never hungry and ended the night with a full stomach. I wish I could say more but I'd have to write a novel. All in all, the day was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT--all thanks to Syed and Niki. Long story short: BOOK THIS PLACE. You absolutely won't regret it.

The Estate truly offers the everything, from rustic lake side outdoor ceremony and cocktail spaces, to a recently renovated indoor ball room complete with built in uplighting. Syed, the owner and manager, is there for you throughout the planning process and on your wedding day. His years of professional experience instantly make you feel comfortable and confident that he will always give you honest and straight answers. If he says he can do something, then he will deliver on that promise. My husband is a huge beer fan and asked if there was any way we could have beer on tap for our wedding. Syed special ordered taps and keg fridges just so we could have two craft beers on tap for our wedding! He also expertly and professionally dealt with difficult family members, which helped ease my wedding stress and anxiety. I can't recommend The Estate at Farrington Lake enough! If I had any friends or family members who were getting married, I would insist they go to The Estate and not bother looking elsewhere. Seriously, Estate at Farrington Lake is fantastic and you will be so happy if you choose this as your wedding venue!!!

Our wedding ceremony was outside and we also had cocktail hour outside and it was just perfect! The ballroom is absolutely stunning as well. Truly a modern, elegant venue with bit of a rustic twist. Syed is truly one of a kind. He was always available to take our calls, answer our questions, and give us his (always correct) advice. The service from Syed and his team the night of the wedding was outstanding. Our guests could not stop raving about our wedding. A month later and people are still talking about it. It is definitely a hidden gem. We would recommend the Estate a million times over and over!!

The ballroom is gorgeous, modern and very elegant. The service that Syed and his team provided was absolutely outstanding. We met with Syed multiple times to go over every detail and we could have not asked for more professional, flexible and talented manager. He gave us so many great suggestions about food selection, floor plan and all the details involved. Our wedding was great. The set up was beautiful. Exactly what we asked for. The food was delicious, and the service was on top notch. Our guests still rave about the food and the location. Thank you, Syed, for making our wedding so beautiful. Syed was patient with us and our families as we navigated the waters of planning a detailed wedding that included - 3 caterers, 2 ceremonies, a rained out cocktail hour and wedding ceremony. You would have never had known that is downpoured on our wedding day because Syed and his team made it flawless. They were there every step of the way and even made sure we ate (so many couples forget to eat... THANK YOU SYED & NIKKI) PLEASE AT LEAST VISIT THIS VENUE!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!! (if I could do it all over again, I'd pick this venue all over again.. and again... and again!)

t you can do cocktail hour on, and all of my guests were commenting on how beautiful it was there. The food was fantastic - I had many guests comment on that as well. I had some people tell me it was the best wedding they'd ever attended! Wow. Syed the owner is a pro, he knows his stuff and can guide even the most stressed out bride in the right direction. I planned my entire wedding from Chicago and was stressed out all the time, and only got to visit the venue twice before the week of the wedding - but I always felt like I was in good hands. Overall, we had an amazing, fun, happy, beautiful day and I don't think it could have been better - so check this place out if you already haven't! P.S. Many of the nearby hotels will give you a free shuttle to/from The Estate for your guests, which is nice. Most of my guests stayed at a hotel in New Brunswick (about 15 min drive from The Estate), which was nice because there are places to eat, drink, get coffee, etc. within walking distance from the hotels in downtown New Brunswick and it is a cute town (mind you, my wedding was in June - so college/Rutgers was not in session - big plus).

n during the rehearsal he was right by our side talking our whole bridal party through every step. On the wedding day Syed took care of everything! He even put together and beautifully decorated our cake & doughnut tier himself! The staff was unbelievably helpful and tentative; they made sure my husband and I had plenty of food and drink throughout the whole night! From walking down the aisle to dancing on their gorgeous marble dance floor, Syed and his staff were absolutely incredible. When we got back from our honeymoon (two weeks later), people were still raving about how beautiful the venue was and how much fun they had! We were over all just blown away by how well we were taken care of and how gorgeous everything was.

The outdoor space was perfect for our ceremony and our pictures looked like they came straight out of a wedding magazine. The dining room also is beautiful and decorated perfectly. The food was AMAZING, dining staff great, everything pretty much perfect. Our wedding was nothing short of our dream wedding and I know for a fact that having it at the Estate was a major reason why. I'm not exaggerating when I say our guests COULT NOT STOP raving about how incredible the venue was!

Syed was so compassionate to our situation and was most accommodating in helping us with planning the wedding on such short notice. The grounds at The Estate are breathtaking and very picturesque. The venue is new, beautiful and the layout was perfect. Syed personally handled all wedding planning efforts and hooked us up with a fantastic DJ and MC, and recommended a florist who delivered beautiful flowers that exceeded our expectations . Syed's wife, Nicky, went above and beyond helping us create beautiful table center pieces and other details that made our daughter's wedding a perfect evening . The serving station food serving concept was great and the food was phenomenal to the point that our guests are still talking about the quality, quantity, and presentation of the food. I know that one can say we are inherently biased, but the food and service was the best we have had in a long time of attending weddings. All our guests were amazed on how this beautiful wedding had been pulled together in just six weeks, and we owe it all to Syed's professionalism and outstanding knowledge of directing and orchestrating a most memorable event!

rvous about choosing it. Syed then came along and erased all of our wedding concerns. He cleaned things up and made great improvements since last fall (new landscaping, new carpeting, expanded the bridal room, new dance floor, etc.). He was always responsive to our questions, nagging requests and concerns, and ultimately wanted to make sure we were happy and our wedding day was perfect. Get Syed’s cell phone number if you can. He’s very reachable on it and even answered calls or texts after business hours. Everything went really well on our big day and we are so grateful to him and his team.

I was so glad we decided to have our cocktail hour outside on the patio despite threats of bad weather; it was a gorgeous way to start off our party with the sun setting over the lake. Once inside, the room was spacious and the lighting added the right touch of fun. The food was outstanding! Weeks later, my guests are still raving about the cocktail hour. I cannot say enough good things about The Estate at Farrington Lake! If I had to do everything over again, I would pick this venue again every time. The careful attention that was paid to us and our guests, Syed’s flexibility, the food and drinks and the staff made our wedding worth every penny. I highly recommend this venue to any bride or groom looking for an event that blends the beauty of the outdoors with an upscale reception. Absolutely perfect.

the rest of the night was great too. There's just a couple of small things I wish had gone differently. In the reception area there are a number of TV screens that continuously play a video of the Estate (sort of like a screensaver). They were kind of distracting throughout the night and I wish these had been turned off so they didn't show in my pictures and videos. Also, we got the lighting package but the lighting color (purple) we wanted was set up only after the cocktail hour, which meant our photographers took our venue photos with the wrong lighting. And then for some reason during the middle of the reception the lighting reverted back to a blue color. We had to track down someone to change it back to purple. Overall however our guests thoroughly enjoyed the location and thought the food was excellent.

out just beautiful!! All my guests were raving about how amazing the venue is and how incredible the food was!! We live in Arizona, so it was pretty stressful trying to plan everything from across the country! But Syed (the owner) answered right away when we had questions/requests. The service was way more than I ever expected, plenty of staff to take care of everyone. The location, the the view, the chandeliers, the bar, the color changing lights and the incredible stone wall at the entrance are just breathtaking! This venue helped to give me the wedding of my dreams!

We met with two different sales managers after that and the place seemed so inconsistent with their staff and each new person we met with had no idea why we weren’t contacted to inform us of any changes. Fast forward to two weeks before our wedding date – we learned there is a whole new owner at our venue! Of course, now we were definitely worried that our wedding day was not going to be what we hoped for. We didn’t know anything about this new owner and although we had a contract signed we hadn’t met him and didn’t know if anything would change. Well, one sit down with Syed was all it took for us to feel comfortable. He upgraded our signed contract with better options, added the Premium Bar to our Standard bar, and changed our buffet style dinner to stations around the reception area. This was so much better for us and our guests – it avoided the crowding as everyone lined up for food which we were nervous about. Syed completely revamped the wedding venue – we felt like we were getting married somewhere new for the same cost we had already budgeted for. In just two weeks, he wowed us with his experience, his style, and the way he turned the venue into something so elegant. We wish he had been there all along. This venue definitely needed his touch. Syed’s wife, Lydia was also amazing! She was on top of everything on our wedding day and helped make suggestions for last minute décor. Our sales manager, Anna, was so sweet and offered her help with setting up the day before, and throughout the wedding day as well. They were very flexible and made us feel like we didn’t need to worry about anything. A few things went wrong that day but that was to be expected. The lights were not working properly, which was no one’s fault. We were frustrated by this, but in the end it didn’t matter looking at everything else that went so well. Also, it was raining and outdoor ceremony was delayed in the hopes that it would stop. The staff, and even Syed were outdoors multiple times to clean the ceremony area to make sure it stayed dry. The rain finally stopped, and Syed helped us and our bridal party to prepare for the ceremony. Our guests loved and complimented our venue and food. A lot of them asked us for more details on the venue, as they would definitely consider getting married here. That tells you, the Estate is definitely a worthwhile place to book your wedding. We definitely recommend it, and we are so happy we had the chance to meet and work with Syed and the rest of the staff!

typical wedding hall. We wanted something modern, with a touch of rustic, preferably with a memorable view. The Estate on Farrington Lake was it. It was perfect. But much like any wedding preparation, there were hurdles that arose. After agreeing to just about everything, they changed ownership. Obviously it was a cause for concern. Well the new owner, Syed was like the wedding planner we wish we had from the get-go. With his countless years of experience he ran through each of our selections and ideas and made sure we didn’t make a fool of ourselves. By the time our wedding cam around he made so many improvements to the venue that blew us away; it was almost like we got something for twice what we paid. On the wedding night Syed personally made his mission to ensure our night was perfect, from setting up, to opening the limo door for us and escorting us to the door on an icy night, to even finding a spare extension cord when my projector couldn’t reach. He stressed the details so we didn’t have to. Long story short, our only regret was not stumbling upon this place earlier. And in the end what we got was even better than we ever dreamed.
