I wanted to work with "The Event Company." I was planning my wedding from a distance so a majority of my planning happened through referrals. The Event Company had been referred by my venue. Unfortunately it was impossible to do business wit...h them.
After discussing the rentals I would need and being told that I would receive a proposal within a week 6 weeks went by without any communication. The proposal I finally received was incomplete and inaccurate. Everyone can be busy so I wanted to excuse the mistakes and lack of communication the first time, but the problem continued. After asking for updates another TWO MONTHS went by without any communication. I tried email, voice-mail, text, leaving messages with reception. Any attempt at communication fell on deaf ears. Luckily I was able to find other equipment rental companies that offer the same products at a better rate.
A wedding is the most important day of your life. I did not have the confidence that this company could deliver. Save yourself the headache and don't work with The Event Company.
