The Events Company was the first vendor we added to our team less than a month after we were engaged. I had some limited personal experience working with them on other events and so I had complete confidence that they could execute our vision. ...A natural planner with professional experience in event planning, I have to admit that it was hard for me to hand over the reigns on the most important event in my life, but Nicole made that a lot easier. She also helped me to realize that I was just adding them to our team, not giving them complete control over the event. Looking back, this was such a no-brainer and money seriously well spent.
As a "COVID Bride," I think we ended up with at least 3 or 4 iterations of our wedding before making it to the big day, which was more magical than I could have ever dreamed. Nicole was well-informed and knowledgeable regarding COVID-19 regulations and was able to advise on how to best execute certain aspects of our wedding in order to be COVID-conscious. Even though our wedding was just 5 months into the pandemic, Nicole was clearly working hard to stay up-to-date so that she could best advise her clients.
Nicole is a REALLY hard worker and incredibly dedicated. She has a calm, reassuring demeanor and that never wavered. In fact, when we learned we needed to change venues about a month before our wedding (cue panic!), Nicole simply hopped in her car (THE SAME DAY!) and drove an hour and a half to meet my mom so they could scope out a new venue option and then consult with me via Zoom (long distance bride). She already had a vision for how things could be set up and was totally optimistic about this change. Leading up to the wedding, since we were making a lot of changes, she made countless phone calls and chased down other vendors to ensure that everything was perfectly coordinated. She always did this quietly and in the background, without ever letting me know if something was not working out as planned.
Throughout the wedding day, Nicole had this magical way of appearing at the exact moment she was needed. We were able to completely and fully enjoy the magic of our day because we knew that Nicole was handling all of the details - all of which were executed with utter perfection. She and her husband, and their team, set up the venue and stayed until the very end, even dealing with a run-in with some wedding crashers!
I can't say enough good things about working with Nicole and would highly recommend hiring The Events Company (and check out their venue, The Sky Armory, too!) for your wedding or other event. And, in this age of smaller events and micro-weddings, don't discount the value of having an event planner on your team - truly priceless and worth EVERY penny.
