The Foundry was very organized to work with and the wedding day turned out better than I could ever imagined it. We booked the entire floor for the cocktail hour as well as the reception.
Glassworks made my wedding and reception the most beautiful wedding I have ever seen in my life! Paul and Amanda were great to work with and I would recommend this venue to anyone! The flowers were absolutely gorgeous!!

My fiancé and I said yes to this venue as soon as we saw it. We rented both rooms for our Sunday wedding. Sunday is a great deal - you get the whole floor plus the public space to use. Not to mention, it comes with beautiful clear Chivari chairs! Amanda was amazing through the whole process. She answered all of my neurotic questions and even let us have our dog in the ceremony! Everything went smoothly day of - the spaces looked beautiful and if there were any issues, I was not informed. It was all taken care of. Highly recommend! :)
Exceptional, Unique, Non-Traditional Venue - Have your wedding here!Reviewed on 11/19/2014 Emily P
We hosted our wedding reception at the Foundry at Glassworks on Saturday, November 8. It was an absolutely perfect event and went off without a hitch, in large part due to the professionalism, flexibility, and overall high level of customer service we received from Amanda Krimm and the Foundry at Glassworks staff. The event space is truly unique and offers a cool, modern atmosphere that really impressed our guests and family. The live glass demos were a big hit and you can bring in outside vendors, too (we recommend Ladyfingers for catering, Dixie Florist for flowers, 2nd Wind Band, Rent and Rave rentals for items that couldn't be rented from the facility, Digital Moments videography, and Jessica Fey photography). Overall, we loved our experience with Foundry at Glassworks and would recommend the facility in a heart beat!

Amanda at the Foundry is amazing. She was open and accommodating for whatever ideas we envisioned for our reception. The night went by without and hitch!

This is a great place to have a wedding. My staff was extremely helpful. Although we could have the wedding on the rooftop like originally planned they worked with me to make sure my wedding was exactly what I wanted.

everyone loved the glassblowing. very pretty for may wedding. The music does sound funny in the rooms because of the plastic wall to view glassblowing but that is to be expected.
Almost Perfect!Reviewed on 5/29/2012 Emily P
There were a few bumps in the road on the day of the wedding, and the days leading up to it but the staff was amazing at taking care of the issues I had. I would do it all over again if I could! Glassworks is great!!
awesome locationReviewed on 11/16/2011 monica m
Overall our experience with Glassworks was great! The location and area (2nd floor and rooftop) was a perfect fit for our wedding style. Black and white, a little funky, art deco, industrial. This venue is a little different than most. It isn't a venue I would suggest for a bride who wants an over the top, extremely extravagant wedding. However it was perfect for me! We did have some problems when we arrived, but after some discussion things were changed, and everything was made right. It isn't a "full service" venue. Be prepared to do some work, or have a wedding coordinator on hand to help. Overall it was fabulous and we loved it. I have some amazing wedding photos because of the surroundings!
Great venue, but restrictiveReviewed on 1/04/2011 Ashley M
I was married on 10/23/10 and the reception was held at Glassworks. I would gladly give the venue 5 stars if they allowed outside caterers. Jarfi's was great, but we found them to be a bit expensive and would've liked the option to use someone else. I will, however, give them a huge thumbs up for rescuing our reception when River Bend Winery sold our date to someone else.
Amazing experience with Glassworks!!Reviewed on 11/17/2010 Amanda D
We started looking for vendors and came across Glassworks. When we went to check it out we absolutely loved the look and feel of the building. The event coordinator was unbelievably helpful and friendly. We loved her immediately and decided to go with Glassworks. They helped take the worry off of everything with their great planning and organization. I felt like our wedding was as important to them as it was to us. They were easy to work with as far as getting in to decorate the day of. They ran our reheresal and coordinated with the DJ, photographers, and caterer. We had to go with Jarfi's as our caterer, due to their relationship with Glassworks. The food was amazing and we got more for our money then other places and caterers we had looked into. Mr. Jarfi was even at our wedding making sure everything was going smoothly, and he even made my plate for me! The day went smoothly and I was able to step back and enjoy my wedding while everything was taken care of. I would DEFINITELY recommend Glassworks as a great place to have your wedding!!!!!
Family Friendly Bachelorette PartyReviewed on 11/06/2010 Meg P
For part of my bachelorette party we had younger guests with us and needed something family friendly to enjoy with everyone. We went to glassworks and everyone got to make their own piece and as a group they made one large plate for my husband and I. We had a great time, they were very informative and very helpful. Everyone loved the items they made.

Review for Louisville GlassworksReviewed on 5/10/2010 JODEE P
Oh how I loved Glassworks. Every aspect of working with them was easy. We loved our reception site. Everyone raved about it. We did the glassblowing demonstration during the cocktail hour. It was supposed to be one guy for an hour. There were 2 guys who stayed pretty much the whole night. Our guests could actually go downstairs and sit on the bleachers for an up close view which they loved. My guests loved it. My 6 year old cousin told his mom that he wanted to be a glassblower when he grows up. They state that you can only set up 3 hours before but we were allowed to set up early in the morning. They just have tours until 4 but no one bothered our stuff. I loved it. It could not have been better. It is a very different cool location to have a wedding reception. You don't have to decorate very much because of all the beautiful glass art everywhere.;They tell you that you only have 4 hours to set up but you are able to start earlier than that.
