I held my wedding reception at the winery. From the very beginning i loved this venue, but the event manager was the least professional person we had worked with on our wedding, but because we loved the location so much we went forward. The v...enue was perfect because it held 100 people, you could bring your own caterer and other vendors, and the price was right. first thing we had an issue with was the fact that we had to bring in & buy our own ice (when we were paying an additional hourly fee for bartending service.) Also, getting a hold of the event coordinator was so difficult and really put a lot of stress on myself and parents.
The day of the wedding.... this coordinator was the least friendly vendor at my wedding. It was extremely upsetting and annoying, to be honest. As my parents were cleaning things up after the reception was over and my husband and I had left for our honeymoon, this lady didnt even do a final walk through or say goodbye. Later that night she left my mom a voicemail yelling at her about how we left the venue a complete mess and that she will be invoicing us for "the additional time" her and her associate had to stay to clean up our "mess". long story short, my mom's credit card was charged (with NO authorization) an additional $500, without any permission what so ever.
DO NOT USE THIS WINERY. my wedding was beautiful, but not the credit of anyone working here. thank god my caterer and florist was amazing, or it would have been a huge mess.
