What I loved about the makeup loft is they really listen to what you want and they make you look beautiful, but in a natural way. I would highly recommend choosing the makeup loft for you big day. They will travel to the location where the girls are getting ready and were prepared with everything that they needed. I absolutely loved working with the Makeup Loft and they will make all brides, MOBs, MOGs, and bridesmaids look stunning.

My hair and makeup held up so well, even with the unexpected rain and humidity and the individual eyelashes looked amazing, even the next day. Makeup Loft is certainly the way to go for your wedding!

bridal make up that I felt was quintessentially me and a non-negotiable. It was off-putting that they did not outright support my choices and instead second guessed my vision. Day of they did execute my vision well and I felt like a million-bucks so it's all water under the bridge. The hair and make-up both stayed fantastically well day of and only lipstick needed a touch up, even after crying and dancing everything else was unaffected. My bridesmaids and mother also looked amazing and looked like themselves.

The day of, made a last minute decision to put my hair up due to the heat and having two veils, and she nailed my hair do. Also, Courtney did my makeup sooooo wonderfully. I generally don't like other people doing my makeup but she was an absolute artist and listened to all of my concerns. She made it feel like I had a bestie on my wedding day to talk to and made me so comfortable. Would hire this team over and over again. Thank you!

The women did a fabulous job getting the exact makeup look I wanted on the first try (natural and soft), and the makeup even didn’t make me break out the next day! They also make their own makeup, so you can buy, for instance, lipstick in the exact shade to re-apply on the day of. They even matched my Chinese mother’s skin-tone on the first try, and the makeup didn’t turn her orange over the day, which is usually the challenge with makeup on her skin. I have similar compliments for the hair! They got my very slippery hair to stay in place all day, and it was actually quite comfortable as well as matching my dress perfectly. They worked with all lengths, from my very long hair to my mother-in-law’s short hair, and did a beautiful job with everyone’s! Our wedding day was HOT, HUMID, and included scattered showers throughout the day. My hair and makeup withstood the sweat, rain, and tears. al! I loved my makeup so much because I still looked like me and it didn't feel like I was wearing makeup! My hair stylist was amazing and listened to what I wanted for my hair to look like! My hair was so unique and beautiful, I was receiving compliments on how cool it looked all night long! I will recommend the Makeup Loft for all my friends in their future weddings! :) The only negative thing I have to say is that the booking process was very frustrating. There is currently only one person booking wedding services and checking the email so I had a stressful time waiting to hear back from her. Besides that, everything was amazing and I was incredibly happy with the services me and my bridesmaids received! :)

fell out 30 minutes after they were done (and I usually have no problem holding curls). I would recommend bringing a hairspray that you like if you use them for hair—theirs is so light that it didn't do anything. I ended up having a friend re-curl my hair right before the ceremony because it had all gone limp (as did other girls' in my party).

ir trials and at the last minute bought extensions, and they were so great and easy to work with. Everyone loved their hair and makeup, and it was by far a great choice for our day! The only thing I would suggest is to plan earlier than they tell you to start services on the day of. I had my first look at 4:00, and they suggested getting there at 1:00, promising I would be ready to go with plenty of time. My first look had to be pushed back until 4:30 because my hair and makeup were not finished until 4:00 and I still had to put my dress and accessories on and take pictures with my bridesmaids. It felt very rushed at the end, but their services are so great that I would still recommend them in a heartbeat. Just make sure you give yourself plenty of time!

with me ( 11 in total) and they were perfect. They made sure we were happy with our looks and even stayed longer then planned so that my headpiece was placed on right before we left the hotel. They were accommodating and did everything I needed them to do. I am SO HAPPY I picked them!!!

My trial run was so wonderful and reassuring that I was working with experts! I was able to get comfortable with the stylists who would be at my wedding during this trial run and they made me feel even more sure of my choice. On the day of, Alyssa was our makeup artist and Rachel was our hair stylist. They traveled to the venue in the bridal suite with us, which was amazing! Alyssa and Rachel were so honest and easy to talk to from the moment we met...I truly trust them. They worked so hard to make everything perfect...and they did! All of our hair and makeup services were outstanding. Alyssa and Rachel were able to use inspiration photos, in addition to their expertise, to create the most perfect beauty outcome for me, my mom and my bridesmaids. I am so impressed by Alyssa and Rachel's dedication and beautiful work...I was blown away and teary-eyed when all of us were finished and ready! Everything stayed perfect throughout the entire evening...photos turned out great! Planning a wedding and working with vendors can be a stressful process but Allie, Rachel and Alyssa reassured me through it all and I always knew we were in good hands. The Makeup Loft truly went above and beyond to make my wedding experience exceptional. I am forever grateful!

I received so many compliments. It was so perfect that one of my bridesmaids who is getting married in the fall, decided to switch and use the makeup loft for hair and makeup for her own wedding after having it done for my wedding. that's how much she loved it! thanks ladies, it was perfect!

g their fastest to get in and out. They had from 8-11:30 to get me (the bride), my mom and 6 bridesmaids done. They were gone by 10:30... spent 10-15 minutes on make-up for each person, including me, the bride. Hair took a longer. As far as our look, while we all looked beautiful, all of our makeup was meh. Very natural. In my mind, I pictured a more dramatic look. I didn't have a trial, which we both acknowledged, but I showed pics with a dramatic eye. When I saw the final product, it looked like something I could've done myself. In fact, I personally do my own make-up more dramatic than what I got. All of my girls agreed. We all also had to re-pin our hair before we even took photos (so basically within 2 hours of them doing our hair). All in all if you want to spend nearly $200 for hair and make-up that you could likely do yourself if you had a good foundation, go with them. I really tried to think of more positives...

entire morning, we were able to bring in breakfast and mimosas, our own music playlist for singalongs, and it helped me feel calm knowing we were all in good hands. Our team for the day was amazing and everyone's hair turned out so wonderful and very cohesive for photos, which was important to me. Additionally, they were so accommodating and we had a trial run for my mom in addition to me in advance, so she felt like she also was getting the royal treatment! Would recommend them for coming onsite, but really suggest going to the Makeup Loft if you want a fun, low-key way to start your big day!

The only thing that kept this from being a 5-star for me is that they only sent one makeup artist for nine people, which is a bit unrealistic, especially when everyone requested lash application. Book with them, but give yourself at least an extra hour of wiggle room past what you think you need with your start time.
