At the rehearsal and wedding day setup we had great support from Kalin&Mary . They did a great job keeping us on track and attending to our needs. This setting is so pretty & peaceful, yet it’s just minutes from New Braunfels . We highly recommend this venue !

Their photo booth was a huge hit too! My bridesmaids and I loved our spacious bridal suite, and my husband’s groomsmen loved their suite as well! Our wedding was an absolute dream and I couldn’t imagine having it anywhere else!!!

It honestly had a Joanna Gaines vibe, modern/rustic with the black and white interior! We were sold. We are so happy that she showed us Legacy Hall because we didn’t go there anticipating looking at it! Overall everyone was wonderful! Kalin was a huge help and was always available! She was a lot of fun and definitely patient with us on our final walkthrough! We decided to get married on a Monday and everything was readily available! Communication and accommodations were amazing and everyone was so nice! We looked at several wedding venues and this was exceeded our expectations and more! I highly recommend!! Our wedding was amazing and every person complimented on how beautiful it was! Thank you!!

ithout my husband and I feeling like we were being pulled around everywhere. I have told all my friends to book with them and will continue to do so to any bride in the central Texas area. We used the stone haven hall and the venue was so pretty we didn’t have to bring anything other than table decor. The catering and bar staff were so great and made sure that the groom and I actually ate and got some pieces of our appetizers. So happy we chose this venue, they made it super special.

Kalin had great recommendations and insights; she addressed all our questions and concerns and was a delight to work with. They help you with anything and everything, they will schedule a details meeting and go over EVERYTHING with you. Your rehearsal will be so smooth and fun with the ladies at the Milestone. I was also told by one of my guests that if they could re-do their wedding, they would have it at the Milestone because they loved it so much! Thank you to the Milestone-New Braunfels for everything you did for our special day, I just know everyone else who books you will also love you guys!

Instagram 40 days before my wedding to find out that y’all have removed the lights and tool “in the spur of the moment” idea quote from one of your employees. Upon initial booking we were notified that the Legacy Hall was being renovated and the Stonehaven was being left alone. So big surprise that my hall Stonehaven was in fact being touched in areas like the bride and groom getting ready areas, and the tool and lights being removed. So you sprung on a already stressed bride who was doing all her own decorations that if I wanted those lights back up that I would have to hire someone (when I didn’t and wasn’t hiring anyone to do any decoration). So I have to pay out of pocket $300 to someone to come in and put the lights back up that I was told would never come down in the first place! RIDICULOUS!! I had a conversation with two of your employees and y’all tried to make it right by giving us an hour early to come in.. Fast forward to wedding day. Your employee DOES NOT have a key to let us in the venue at 11:00 to start setting up. So they free one hour was out the window, while we waited on another employee to come bring a key to let us in. We got in the venue at 11:45! On top of we chose the BYOB package y’all no longer offer, so we supplied all the alcohol. We paid y’all $500 for this option. To hear the female bartender telling my guests that she does not get paid to be there, she gets paid in tips so they NEED to tip her while pointing at the tip jar IS JUST BEYOND ME! Every guest came to complain that she kept asking “where’s my tip” After serving them. Then to have her tell me to remove my honeymoon fund off the bar, ME the bride has to move my stuff else where, I don’t think so. This same female bartender kept telling people we were out of alcohol when in fact there was still cases of beer, and liquor bottles that were full ( if we were out of everything why do I have cases of beer and liquor sitting in my spare bedroom). Come to find out she was stashing the alcohol. Then to hear a conversation being taken place about us between my coordinator and this female bartender is just beyond me. I know for a fact the bartenders got paid to be there $250.00 went to bartenders and $250 went to security out of the $500 for the BYOB drink option we chose. Then my wedding coordinator how the audacity to say “tearing down the head table was not mentioned in the details meeting.” Yes ma’am it sure was because we knew we were having a grand March and the head table was right in the way. There was plenty of people to help tear down the table and put it away so there should have been no issue on her end. Needless to say the $8,000 we paid for this venue we had a horrendous experience. You want your customers to follow your rules per the contract. Why don’t you hold your employees to the highest standards, so everyone has a good experience for the amount of money we pay for the venue. If I would have read the reviews on The Milestone before I booked I NEVER would have booked. That’s sad to say and sad that I had this experience because I dreamed of getting married here since my two cousins got married at this venue and all I have is regret.

e her enough for how wonderful she was during the entire planning process and day of. She answered all of thousands of emails the same day sometimes the same hour. She sent us reminders for everything. She made sure that everything ran as smoothly as possible the day of. She made everyone comfortable and made sure we had everything we needed. She was helping with the families and all the guests as well as trying to contact our cake vendor who was late. It rained the morning of the wedding and she was outside with a towel wiping off the chairs. She kept me calm the entire time, kept us on schedule, and did so many things I wasn’t even aware of that day. Every now and then she was just there fixing my dress while I was dancing so that the pictures were amazing. She brought us our dinner in the grooms suite so we could have a private minute to ourselves including drinks and refills. She bustled my dress for me and put on my shoes. She was just absolutely amazing. My entire family and wedding party just kept asking who she was and where she came from because she just knew exactly what to do and was so kind to everyone. Love her. I was nervous about the catering because at the open house it was small portions but my goodness we had parmesan crusted chicken and it was HUGE. I couldn’t even finish it. Perfectly cooked. The sides of mashed potatoes and green beans were to die for as well. It was all delicious. People told me no one would remember the food but I had several people ask me who catered because it was so good. Overall, our experience was amazing. I would definitely recommend them. I would give them ten stars if I could.

ur wedding coordinator Victoria was absolutely incredible! She took away any last minute stress and made the day go perfectly smooth. I felt like I didnt have to worry about anything because I knew she had everything covered. We honestly feel so lucky to have had her as our coordinator on our special day.

he second was pregnant and due a few weeks after my wedding and had to give up my wedding due to pregnancy concerns (maybe should not have been given weddings this close to her due date???) *I paid for 4:30 to 11:00. This means ceremony could not start until 6:30 due to decorating, hair, pictures, etc. Food served at 7:30, dancing started at 8:30, had to leave at 10:30. Be VERY aware of your timeline!! If you want to come in early, they will charge you $500/hour even if no other event is happening. *The venue will not help with ANY set up! If you want to put up flowers, material, lights across the pavilion you will need to bring your own ladder. Bring your own extension cords, power bars, tape, etc and make sure you have friends to do it for you (and make sure you have time to get it all done prior to the ceremony). *My guests were using their USED dinner plates to get dessert because the staff did not put out dessert plates (which was part of our agreement), instead, dessert plates were brought out only after asked for by a guest. *I had a huge, heavy box filled with dessert platters. The staff put this box behind the bar during set up and it was not found until after the reception. The coordinator fessed up to this to my friend who had to set up the dessert table with regular dinner plates. *I had 4 complaints from guests about how snippy, short and rude my coordinator was. My new husband and I were standing inside the venue and could literally hear her screaming directions outside at my adult guests about how to properly light and hold sparklers. *Good luck with any of the Walters properties. They are truly beautiful venues but never forget their priority is to make money. I would highly recommend a venue that gives your timeline flexibility. We literally had two hours to spend with our guests because my timeline was chewed up by basic decorating (not a lot, just simple lanterns as centerpieces, garland on the staircase, and tule/lights across the pavilion) and dinner. And we only took 1/2hr for photos. Hope this helps!

nds/dj’s need any certain plugs, did not ask catering on specific details, and did not even come across with question for the photographer on any specific request. So what’s the point of a day of coordinator? Anyways, they over charge and had me (the bride) and my mother and GRANDMOTHER and other family members set up when they “have people” for that. If they post photos of my wedding, it’s not props to them. It’s props to my catering, dj, band, and photographer for helping me with that. They will find a way to basically screw you over. Also the “bar” is only mixed drinks. They don’t do shot and they don’t tell you about that. They were horrible with us, some ladies even had an attitude with me. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM! If you see reviews with good rates make sure you check the date, they changed management so it’s not the same people.

d a Bridal Garage Sale where we got A LOT of the decor from other Milestone Brides that we used for the wedding, specifically the wood slices in bulk that we used for our centerpieces. We were able to visit the venue as many times as we needed to get the vision together and for a rehearsal the day before. Even when the weather rained us out (well, in technically), y’all had a back up plan to have the ceremony inside and it was still beautiful. Thank you for everything!

I was praying throughout the ceremony that the person on staff would have poked their head out to check on the ceremony and realized the Mic was all static and no sound so that they could have fixed it then and there. No one past the first row could hear anything and my own parents barely heard our vows and the pastor. It was so disappointing. Later that night my caterer had trouble finding the person on staff and so I looked and couldnt find whoever it was. Over all the venue is beautiful. Hands down the best venue for decor and natural beauty. Just stay on top of things like knowing who the coordinator is when they switch shifts and if the small Mic for the officiant actually works outside.

an, it's not such a financial burden. The staff- from the tour to the clean up they were so sweet, and ready for any question and to help when needed. My favorite thing about them is they have a phone to text with their clients! So cool. While we were getting ready I was able to just text them and they would adjust the thermostat or pull out another table. I HIGHLY recommend the spring, my wedding was perfect and I owe alot of that to this gorgeous venue!

. I loved the flexibility of choosing my own catering, bartenders, and day of coordinator. I got to make my wedding my own unlike other venues who forced me to use one of the mentioned above. The space was beautiful and perfect and did not take much decoration to make the venue beautiful. I would highly recommend any bride who likes flexibility and have their options open to look into this venue!
