Our wedding ceremony was made truly magical by the incredibly talented violist and pianist duo! Their performance was nothing short of breathtaking, adding an elegant and emotional touch to every moment. We couldn't have asked for a more enchanting musical experience – they exceeded all of our expectations! 
Scott was seamless to work with leading up to the wedding. His check-ins were always so comforting and he made us feel so taken care of! He was flexible in our music choices and worked with us to provide the appropriate amplification for our ceremony location and guest count. Scott Arcangel and the Music Boutique string quartet were truly a highlight of my wedding. Incredible performances, with the exact versions of songs we were looking for and they even collaborated with our band and a guest who sang in our ceremony. Nothing was too big an ask for them and the music was perfect. I would recommend to anyone!

Scott was such a gem to work with. He was extremely communicative to make sure my day went smoothly as soon as we booked with him. We chose the jazz trio with bass, sax & keyboard and also incorporated DJ so the guests could dance to songs we all know and love. For the cocktail hour we were on the rooftop so the bassist and saxophonist played during cocktail hour on the roof and the 3 piece band played during dinner. It was fantastic. Scott knew how to read the room and use the vibes to really guide the night. It was perfect. 10/10 recommend!!

Scott and the Music Boutique were the biggest hit at my wedding ceremony and cocktail hour! I chose the trio and Scott even brought his saxophone playing son which was incredible! I have a family of professional musicians who are hard to please, and they are still talking about how amazing and talented the Music Boutique is!! Scott Arcangel was the perfect addition to our intimate wedding in upstate New York. We didn't have enough people for a big dance floor, but did want a few moments of dancing and Scott was able to bring our vision to life (in addition to providing beautiful musical components to our ceremony). I cannot say enough things about Scott and the Music Boutique. We hired the Music Boutique to have a pianist play during our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. My husband and I enjoy some different music (Blink-182) that we were easily able to make a part of our ceremony because of the talent the pianist had! Many of our guests commented how amazing the music was and how beautiful it was to hear those songs over a piano. I myself had to approach the pianist during cocktail hour because I loved the music so much and could not let my gratitude go unnoticed. I highly suggest them for any even you are having as Scott is easy to reach, very communicative and professional! They will not disappoint and only elevate your event!

1000/10- Scott was a pure joy to work with. He listened to what we wanted, gave us customized options that fit our budget. We wanted to focus most of our budget on the reception, so we opted for the Hybrid Band/DJ option and no live cocktail music. Not only was he super easy to work with, but he added a bass & saxophone to cocktail hour for us at no added expense since a saxophone was something I had on my want list from the beginning. It added a special touch to our cocktail hour! He and his team adapted easily throughout the night especially when our groomsman asked for a special request entrance song we had not previously discussed. He made it happen- and to this day my husband wont stop talking about the entrance (and music that made it perfect)! Highly recommend!

We loved having Scott and the Music Boutique play at our wedding! We had many conversations with Scott before the wedding to discuss our preferences, and he was happy to play different kinds of music including traditional jazz, funkier jazz, and pop covers. Our guests loved the variety! He was always happy to chat over email or the phone about details and to make recommendations. He had lots of great suggestions for the non-musical parts of the ceremony as well! He also did a great job MC-ing parts of the wedding, including toasts and the first dance, and they did a spontaneous Horah. Lastly, we appreciated being able to listen to his music online. I would highly recommend them for a wedding or other event!

The magic of The Music Boutique for me is that they offer the option of a pianist with their ensembles. I loved how unique this was in comparison to the typical all string ensembles. The moment I knew I would hire Scott and his team was when I listened to my first video of theirs and it had brought tears to my eyes (my grandfather was an incredibly talented piano player and I knew Scott would act as a beautiful tribute to him on our wedding day- and that he did). There are so many variables that go in to planning a wedding and you find yourself feeling the weight of every decision as you try to “get it right”. Well, there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that we made the right decision having Music Boutique as a part of our wedding. We went with the trio-piano, violin, cello. You will be in good hands regardless of what combination of instruments you go with but I HIGHLY recommend you work with the trio as it sounds absolutely incredible. Their masterful performance of each song we requested had everyone raving about their presence at our cocktail hour. They were able to enhance our ceremony and truly make an already magical moment into something truly special. Throughout the planning process, Scott was thorough, flexible, and clearly showed his passion for his profession and our wedding. It does not matter what songs of their incredibly diverse list you pick-they all will sound incredible. We wanted a specific song for our ceremony that had to be learned and there was absolutely no problem with learning it-it sounded amazing. With that in mind, I am not one to typically write reviews. However, I feel obligated to let anyone know that they must pick Scott and The Music Boutique if there is any thought of adding music to a special day or event. You will not regret it. We hired a string duo through Scott for our wedding celebration and they were amazing! All of our guests were enchanted by the lovely violin and cello music.

Scott and his musicians made our wedding so special and added such a sophisticated yet fun ambiance to our event. He understood the type of music we wanted immediately and put words to it that we weren't even sure how to express. He also fully composed a song for my husband and I when I wasn't sure what song i wanted to walk down the aisle to, which is so special. Would always recommend him for any event or type of music.

My wife and I got married at Crystal Springs on 3/11/23. Scott playing the Sax was perhaps the most memorable part of our wedding reception and something every single attendee has commented on. We wanted a DJ but to also have an element of live music, Scott fit right in! My sister and guests agreed the musicians made the wedding. We had 3 strings and Scott on the keyboard. They even worked out a surprise first dance performance. Scott and The Music Boutique were one of the best vendors we hired for our wedding day! Upon seeing the videos posted, we knew we had to hire The Music Boutique. Scott's arrangements were far superior to other vendors--so much more dynamic and layered. Scott and I immediately connected during our initial call, he completely understood our vision. Scott and the Music Boutique were incredible to work with, and SO TALENTED!! We had a micro wedding of 32 people and having the live touch of music was amazing. They were SO responsive, so accommodating as we had our ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner in various locations at the hotel - their music choice were SPOT ON and Scott was very reliable as the MC for all our dances and introductions. My husband and I got married on 10/20/2022 at Whitby Castle and I cannot say enough about Scott and his musicians. There was a slight glitch in our provided timelines that was ironed out the week of our wedding but his communication throughout the process was amazing. Very open to the music selection for the ceremony and my indecisive nature of not being able to choose a processional song for myself and parents! We hired a guitarist and a cellist for our ceremony with music that was to inspire a cheerful and whimsical atmosphere. though i did not hear much of the music because I was in the line up under the willow tree I heard from multiple guests that the musicians were talented and even played some impromptu music that was requested by several guests! I was thrilled to hear that my guests truly enjoyed the music pre and post ceremony. Thank you Scott and team!

Scott was so amazing to work with! He was kind and patient, even when we needed some time to make decisions on the direction we wanted to move in with the different instruments they offer! They do offer a wide variety of packages, which was great because we were able to customize more for our liking! They were also super accommodating in playing different things and nontraditional things. Scott navigated these changes with professionalism which left us feeling very reassured during an unsettling time. He matched the perfect musicians for the ambience and the rules we had to abide by. We had strings for ceremony, jazz for cocktail hour and an acoustic trio for our dancing and reception. All of the musicians were great and the sound quality was perfect. Our guests all enjoyed it and had so much fun dancing! What stands out the most about Scott and his company is his attention to detail and care he put into planning this event. He frequently checked in with us and made changes as we needed. He was collaborative and shared his knowledge in a way that helped create a great event. Wedding planning can be stressful so I greatly appreciated having high quality music as well as such a kind, helpful company to work with. We highly recommend them!

We booked The Music Boutique for our wedding in May. We spoke to Scott about a variety of options and ended up booking a violin/cello duo for our prelude and ceremony and a violin pop covers trio for our cocktail hour. I truly cannot put into words how AMAZING Scott and his team of musicians is! My guests were raving and could not stop talking about the music, they all LOVED it! Scott was so professional and organized throughout the whole process. He gave his honest feedback on song choices based on the instruments we were using. I recently worked with Scott at The Music Boutique for my ceremony music for my May 2022 wedding and loved every aspect of working with them! From start to finish he was accommodating, helpful, extremely professional, and communicated very efficiently. He was able to work with me in executing specific requests I had for pre/ceremony music as well as was a great resource to bounce ideas off of! The Music Boutique really made my reception special and added the perfect amount of romanticism! The string trio was exceptional and were able to play top 40 songs as I requested and they played beautifully! Omg I cannot stop watching the footage of the string playing, truly a beautiful and wonderful way to add class and fill the room with loving music for our guests. Scott was AMAZING to work with and was so easy going and friendly. 100% would hire again, no doubt about it! Thank you for making our day special!

I want to start off by saying Scott's communication is unprecedented. Our wedding was canceled last year dude to covid so we had to reschedule for thus year in May which was very stressful. Scott was so easygoing to deal with and to reschedule. Finally our wedding day came and Scott and his team were amazing! We opted for ceremony music and for the cocktail our. We used a dj for the reception. We has a piano drums and a violin and they truly were amazing, there's really no other way to describe the experience. Scott and his team did such a great job I strongly suggest booking him. Just youtube him and you'll see how great they are. A+++++++

After a violinist backed out 2 weeks before my wedding, I frantically found The Music Boutique and Scott saved the day! He picked the perfect string duo to perform for my ceremony and extended cocktail hour. They were FANTASTIC! Extremely professional, worked closely with my coordinator, and were the highlight of the wedding. I wish I found the Music Boutique from the beginning to avoid all the craziness! 10/10 would recommend!

To say Scott is a dream to work with is the biggest understatement. He is so professional, kind, and patient. Scott and his team of musicians set the tone for each section of our wedding day. He was able to help me customize our package to perfection. We had a duo for the ceremony, a trio for cocktail hour, a quartet for dinner, and "DJ Scott" for our reception. Scott worked closely with me; through many changes; to curate my perfect setlist. We had so many guests come up to us during and after our wedding to rave about the music. I would highly recommend The Music Boutique and hope that I can find an excuse to work with Scott and his fellow musicians again in the future.

Scott was an absolute pleasure to work with from our initial request all the way up through the conclusion of our event. His communication was timely, reliable and easy to understand. He was thorough in all of our planning, scheduling and details. The musicians were all dressed well, punctual and professional throughout the entire event. The string duo was absolutely perfect for the intimate room we were married in during our ceremony, and adding in the pianist to the mix for the reception ballroom gave us a wonderful soundscape to celebrate with our friends. We received tons of non-stop compliments on the music played which included foundational classics to classical takes on modern tunes. Our guests, plenty of whom would never have chosen a classical ensemble or this type of music for an event were thrilled with the ability to converse between themselves and other tables without shouting and made note of just how enjoyable it made sitting to eat and socializing and mixing around.
