I wish I could leave a good review but everything about this process was terrible. We booked the officiant Ramiro Malagon for our wedding and never heard anything from him until a week before when I asked to speak to him. It took him over 48 hrs to get back to me and only responded when I said I would get a new officiant. At the actual wedding before I walked down the aisle he talked to me about pricing. this is something we discussed at an earlier date and was confused on why he was talking to me about money before walking downbeat the aisle. When it was time to actually walk down he forgot to remind everyone to rise and got incredibly awkward. My photos came out terrible. You only get married once, and I highly suggest you think twice before booking this service.

We are not a religious couple but we still wanted a special ceremony and someone who would make that moment perfect for us. The Officiants were so professional and quick to respond, which really made us feel we made the right decision! Dominic was our main contact, but his father Ted was our guy the day of! We worked with Dominic for our January 5th wedding on the beach in Hollywood. My husband and I traveled down from Minnesota with our siblings, parents, and grandparents to say "I do" on the ocean. Dominic was amazing to work with. Being in Minnesota, we were not able to meet in person until our wedding day, but Dominic made us feel comfortable throughout the entire process. He guided us through it, helping us understand the things we should be looking for and thinking about when it came to what we wanted in our ceremony. I can't thank Ramiro enough! He really made our idea become a reality. My husband and I were very specific in what our needs were. My husband is Jewish and Catholic and I'm Catholic, so we wanted our ceremony to combine both traditions. Also we wanted a bilingual ceremony because I wanted my family from Colombia to understand our ceremony. So we felt it was a lot to overcome but Ramiro made it easy. He was was super accommodating, gave us great suggestions and went above and beyond to ease our worries. On the day of our wedding he showed up on time and performed our ceremony with such grace. Both of our families loved how we were able to incorporate both traditions and cultures. As an event planner, I expect nothing but the best and that's exactly what Ramiro gave us.

Dominic was flat out amazing, from planning (yes, he helped us plan) to the execution. Dom made us feel like our wedding was as special as a first time while officiating like a seasoned veteran. BEWARE!!! This company seemed to be very professional and experienced when I talked back and forth with Ted numerous times to book. After talking with many different officiants I felt like this was my best option, BOY WAS I WRONG. For the start things were great Ted seemed truly awesome and really understood what I was looking for our wedding ceremony. About 1 month before the wedding I would not get any responses to emails or calls and one day I open my email to find one from Ted. Long story short, due to medical issues Ted would no longer be able to officiant my wedding and he would have his son Anthony stand in. With all the pre wedding stress I just went along with it figuring that they are professionals and all will be fine. Come the wedding day Anthony arrives and when he greets the guest for the wedding and start of the ceremony he calls the bride “Jennifer” WHICH HER NAME IS AMANDA. The ceremony begins and goes on which Anthony seems to have a never hard time reading and is stuttering with his words. Cut forward to what was supposed to be a wine box ceremony (putting a bottle of wine with to letters in a box to open, read and drink on our one year anniversary) the box is no place to be found and also Anthony seems to have no idea what is going on. He then proceeded, as both of us newlyweds are very frustrated and ready for the ceremony to be over, HE AGAIN CALLS THE BRIDE JENNIFER. We as a couple are beyond humiliated, embarrassed and pissed to say the least about our wedding ceremony. Anthony never apologized for his actions and approximately a week after the wedding I send an email and called the company just to let them know how upset we felt, received no response. I did receive my marriage license in a timely manner, thank goodness. IF YOU ARE COUPLE LOOKING TO BOOK A PROFESSIONAL OFFICIANT DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE OR YOU COULD END UP HAVING A TERRIBLE CEREMONY THAT YOU DONT EVEN WANT TO SEE THE VIDEO OF.

Our officiant was Ralph Liotta and he was a nice guy but I'm sorry to say, if you have one job it is to learn how to spell someone's name BEFORE the wedding. While we were saying our vows he read my name PAULINE, my name is PAULA. How do you get that wrong? THEN, I didn't want the traditional bridesmaids on the right, and groomsmen on the left. I had a wedding coordinator made sure it was like I liked it, and then RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE of the ceremony as the bridesmaids are walking up, RALPH decides to tell the girls to go to the other side. SERIOUSLY?!. NO. no no no. THANK GOD, my maid of honor made them all switch back BEFORE I got the altar. I have my good side for pictures and a bad side . any other day, I wouldn't care, on MY wedding day, I CARED. very disappointed, I still can't watch my wedding ceremony without cringing at these moments.

Outstanding doesn't do it justice - Dominic blew us away at our wedding wedding ceremony. Over the past year, we spoke with Dominic multiple times (we're planners), as he always made himself available, and was very patient with us as we described our perfect ceremony, talked about our love story, and asked a TON of questions. My wife and I are of different religions and it was important to us that we kept religion out of the ceremony and just focused on the two of us and our love. We booked Scott about a year before our wedding after we had a consultation call with him. We loved that he gave us easy choices to help craft the perfect ceremony for us. We had another consultation call about a week before the ceremony and he went into detail the outline of the ceremony so we knew exactly what to expect. The ceremony was gorgeous and personalized to us. Aside from location, he was one of the most complimented aspects of our wedding.

We had to part ways with our officiant 1 week before our wedding. We thought we wouldn't be able to find a replacement officiant in time for the wedding. In the end he wrote a ceremony that included a tribute to our parents who are deceased, found a perfect place to add a favored poem, and allowed us the opportunity for a sand ceremony, which was a touching visual representation of the joining together of our very different lives. At our wedding rehearsal, Reverend Scott took charge. He was kind and patient and made everyone laugh at their own insecurities. He allowed all the members of the wedding party as well as the bride and “groomette” to walk through the ceremony as much as needed until we were all comfortable. On the day of the wedding, he arrived early, checked in with the bride and “groomette” and their perspective attendants and made sure all were well. By that time Reverend Scott was a true member of our new family! Reverend Scott officiated our ceremony in reverent and loving way, which commanded the attention of every guest. His words of advise to the soon to be married couple were heartfelt, honest and sincere and moved many to tears. Many of our guests commented about how personable he was and asked where we “found” him. We could not have asked for a more special ceremony. Reverend Scott truly cared about and succeeded in making the our wedding ceremony unforgettable.

Rev. Scott's beautiful, personalized, and loving ceremony was perfect, and his personal touch and warmth with family members demonstrated how much he truly cared about the couple he was wedding! As an "old school" mother of the bride, I wanted only the best for my daughter and son-in-law on their special day. Our families have mixed religious backgrounds, and we are very spiritual, and originally inquired with a minister from a local church to perform the ceremony. Unfortunately, the minister did not live up to our expectations in working collaboratively with both families and religious backgrounds to provide a ceremony inclusive of all religious beliefs held dear by our family. We then turned to some wedding event companies that offered officiating services (4 to be exact) and arranged appointments. We never received a response from one company, and the officiants from the other 3 companies just didn't have the right fit for us. We talked to one guy that sounded like a radio DJ trying to sell us a used car! At least my daughter and I got a good laugh that night, but then with only 3 months left until the wedding, panic set in! My son-in-law joined in the search with us, and sent an inquiry to South Florida Officiants. That same day, we received an email response (from the company owner Dominck), and by the next day my daughter and I were speaking with Rev. Scott Gurdak. He made us feel comfortable from the start, and also said he was willing to work with us to meet our needs and customize the ceremony to exactly what we would like. Upon conversing, we learned that Rev. Scott is a non-denominational minister that celebrates with all families of diverse religious, spiritual, and cultural backgrounds. He encouraged us to solicit input from family on elements that they would like, but reassured the bride and groom that he wanted this to be about them, and celebrating their love for each other. Many e-mails were sent back and forth between myself, my daughter, and Rev. Scott, and Rev. Scott was always responsive and attentive to our questions, providing suggestions and guidance along the way. The day of the ceremony, Rev. Scott arrived even earlier than expected and took some time to meet the family, as well as spending some time with my daughter (who was nervous), reassuring her that all was going to be wonderful - and it was! So many family members commented to my husband and I that they thought Rev. Scott was a friend of the family, because he spoke as if he knew us all. He spoke during the ceremony with a very clear voice at the perfect volume. He didn't even need to use the microphone. His warm spoken words about their commitment and their future brought tears to my eyes. Lastly, days after the ceremony, my daughter told me that she and her husband found a beautiful card from Rev. Scott with words of encouragement for their new life together! In closing, this "old school" mom isn't easy to impress. Rev. Scott at South Florida Officiants clearly impressed all of us, and I recommend him highly. Their high level of service and dedication to client customization and superior satisfaction is extremely evident.

Dominic did an amazing job with our ceremony. It was exactly what we wanted. He paid attention to detail and delivered a brief, beautiful and modern ceremony. I would highly recommend him to any couple getting married in the future.

With great appreciation we write this review regarding Rev. Scott Gurdak, who officiated at our intimate wedding ceremony last Saturday in Boynton Beach, Fla. We can honestly say it was a truly wonderful experience from beginning to end, and beyond our expectations. Scott was kind, encouraging and sincere in helping us plan our wedding service to match the intimate and warm home setting we chose. From the very start, several weeks ago, when I first talked with him via a phone conversation until the day of our ceremony, Scott was cordial, informative, positive and accommodating. He made us feel calm and prepared for our wedding service by acknowledging our requests, considering our guests and offering suggestions and ideas to match our desires and needs. We appreciated his professional yet low-key manner as he reached out to everyone that afternoon to make the service a special occasion for us, and for our guests. (they are still talking about it!) My husband and I contacted South Florida Officiants to perform our vow renewal for our 20th anniversary. We were introduced to Scott, who was such a wonderful officiant to work with! From the start, he was very patient and made sure he answered all of our questions. Along the way, I had to change things with the ceremony twice, and Scott was always very receptive, and even offered advice when it came to including my children and family members into the ceremony. It turned out to be a beautiful ceremony, and to this day my friends and family compliment on how beautiful our service was. Scott performed the ceremony with a warm smile, and you could feel how much he truly cared about the words he was reciting. Thank you for making our 20th such a special and memorable day - we'll hopefully see you again at our 50th! P.S. - I would strongly recommend that if you want to have Scott present at a rehearsal dinner, you book him as soon as possible. Unfortunately, my husband and I waited too long and he was already booked on the day we wanted to have the rehearsal.

Nuestra experiencia no pudo ser mejor y a un precio muy economico. Mi marido y yo vivimos fuera de Miami y Ramiro estuvo ahí para nosotros todo el tiempo. I had the pleasure of meeting Reverend Ramiro Malagon from South Florida Officiants by phone during the wedding planing and in person days before the wedding. Our experience could not be better and at a very affordable price. My husband and I live out of Miami and Ramiro was there for us all the time. He quickly responded our calls and emails very and helped us resolve lots of questions he had regarding the marriage certificate and bureaucracy. He also gave us good advice on how to plan and conduct a bilingual ceremony. He incorporated all our requests and performed a very beautiful and romantic bilingual ceremony, with rituals of both cultures (unity sand ceremony, arras, vows). I enjoyed every second of it. All our guests followed the ceremony at all times without feeling confused, and they congratulated us on Ramiro's work at the ceremony. Dominic had the potential to get 5/5 stars across the board - up until our wedding day. He double-booked the day of my wedding even though during our very first meeting my husband asked if he ever booked two in one day and Dominic assured us that he didn't. Sure enough, he showed up therefore 30 minutes LATE to mine, which not only was obnoxious for us and my guests (who were ALL on time), but also caused us to get rained on in our outdoor ceremony - had he been on time, we would've missed the rain. He claims he told us in advance that he had another wedding booked a few hours before ours but (like ANY bride who would want to avoid unexpected surprises) had he actually told us we would certainly have booked another officiant. What bride would take the chance on having her wedding start late??? In fact, Dominic's response to our new wedding venue was that it was MORE convenient for him because he lived closer to that venue! How disgusting that he would sacrifice my wedding for a bride who was hours late to her own!! And to tell us it was OUR fault he was late bc we switched venues?? It should've been our decision whether or not to keep him, rather than him deciding for us and taking the chance he would be late to our wedding. On top of that, we got charged extra by our venue and DJ to run 30 minutes later since we didn't want to sacrifice wedding time because of his tardiness. He did an average job performing the wedding - but he was very unapologetic and completely ignored multiple emails (he offered a pitiful $50 refund only after my sister in law insisted we be compensated for what he caused, and then ignored the 2 emails I sent after asking for a full refund since he cost us hundreds in extra fees) so if I could give negative stars I would.
