Located in Redland, FL, The Old Grove is a high-end rustic venue that hosts weddings and other special events. This venue’s management invites you to this five-acre property of canopying avocado trees and stunning waterfalls. You and your guests can enjoy this secluded retreat for your wedding festivities. The Old Grove features numerous scenic amenities, including arched bridges over a lazily flowing river, verdant gardens, and a picturesque barn. You may discover nature in a unique and entertaining manner in this quiet rural locale. Gathered within this scenic setting, you and your loved ones can enjoy an intimate and memorable event. You may exchange vows and celebrate with five picture-perfect acres to choose sites in. A tropical garden soiree or a rustic hoedown can be readily accommodated in this flexible and beautiful venue. Wedding events held at The Old Grove include civil unions, commitment ceremonies, elopements, non-religious ceremonies, religious ceremonies, second weddings, vow renewal ceremonies, and receptions. Up to 150 guests can be accommodated in events held on this property. The rates for this venue include the use of a ceremony area, reception barn, get-ready suite, cocktail area, chairs, bars, and rustic furniture. Additionally, this team will provide DJ/MC services, day-of coordination, planning and design services, site management, valet parking, security, attended bathrooms, setup, and cleanup. You can enjoy on-site, “Farm to Fork” catering with butler-passed hors d’oeuvres, grilled bites, hot or cold sides, and more. A buttercream wedding cake can be designed for you by Ana Paz or Frilled Cakery.

Staff. Was. Amazing. The owner, Andres keeps the fluff to a minimum and gets to the point. A quality I appreciated very much. Overall, my questions were answered in a timely manner. Andres was not what I expected from your average wedding vendor. He wasn't that typical talk your ear off, embellishing the details type. When it got closer to my event I saw more of her because she's the one who pans out the details of your day. She has great energy, warmth and attentiveness that helped to ease away any doubts I had about things going wrong. I really should have gone with TOG's day of coordinating service, as my chosen day of coordinator was not up to par. Nevertheless, Idalia and her staff quickly stepped in and picked up the slack. They attended to my guests and effectively found solutions to any issue that arose. My guests really had a wonderful time and loved the venue. In spite of his lack of response in email & not showing up we still fell in love with the place. We chalked it up to maybe they were just having an off weekend. We emailed asking to clarify details of the contract prior to paying the deposit & we never received a response. After not receiving a response for well over a week we moved on. So grateful to have found another venue with just as beautiful aesthetic but even friendlier customer service.

As soon as we contacted Andres he gave us the reassurance that all our needs would be met , and THE OLD GROIVE DELIVERED! All of our communication was done via email, but Idalia always answered promptly and made us feel so special throughout . t we are going for. We scheduled the tour with a gentleman named Andres for 1 o'clock. He arrived a few minutes late, which was understandable considering Knausberry is right next door so the traffic was heavier than usual. Regardless, this guy seemed like he did not want to be there whatsoever. The entire tour, which took about 10-15 minutes altogether, felt extremely rushed. He didn't have any pictures or portfolios prepared to give us some sort of an idea of how the day of the wedding would go. He had emailed me the rates prior, but I still expected to talk numbers with him a little more on the day of the tour and I kept having to rattle him w/ questions to get any information out of him. Talking to this guy was like pulling teeth. The venue itself is cute, but it lacked the "wow-factor" for us... also lacks a dressing room for the bride and bridesmaids, as well as a kitchen. Very little privacy since it's right on the street. Has potential, and a more enthusiastic employee probably could have sold us a little better had they actually tried, but it just seemed like he was annoyed that he even had to be there giving us the tour. This guy certainly didn't make me feel like they were going to help us in any way on the day of the wedding. Decided to go with another venue that made us feel very well taken care of. Cute little place for a birthday or something, but definitely not for a wedding and if Andres is any representation of the event staff, I'd say steer clear.

Everything was taken care of down to the last detail so we did not have to worry about anything (worth way more than the small extra cost). Regina was nice enough to invite us into her home and host a private menu tasting so we could get a sense of our options that met our needs. They were even willing to alter any dish that we liked. This was extremely helpful and made our planning process much less stressful. The day of our wedding went very smoothly and I couldn’t have asked for a better venue. , fun, cool and out of the norm where we could be creative, the Old Grove combined our love for nature and all things bohemian. Considering we were on such a tight budget, we were worried it would be too much but luckily they worked with us and we were able to stay within our budget. We couldn't have imagined a more beautiful wedding than the one we had there. The photos came out so beautiful too! Everyone was talking about the waterfalls and the Koi fish pond but what impressed me most was the wonderful quality of service I received. That really made an impression on me. Their staff is like no other and everyone was so awesome and professional on the most sweetest and friendliest level. ! We booked the venue and after that everything went down hill! They did not honor the flyer the had a ton of hidden fees ! They basically see you as just a money transaction! They don't have a back up plan if it rains ! And not to mention the place belongs to Andres but the mother is the money hungry one that basically owns the old grove as well!! They make it seem like they want to help but really they just want to make profit ! I highly recommend that you look for another venue, where they will truly value you as a Bride!! This is your wedding day ! Many of us only get one ! So make sure you are respected and are as happy as can be ! I'm sure you can find a place just as beautiful without the stress !!

First of all let me start by saying we don't pass out flyers, we are not that type of venue. We do however have a rate sheet that can be requested online that clearly describes exactly what is included in the general rental fee. We do not have ...
a package that can fit every brides budget, therefore we give you the flexibility to customize the additional items that you want to have at your wedding that can fit your budget. As for a backup plan if it rains, our barn where the reception takes place, is the back up so there is no need to acquire additional costs for a tent. But like any other outdoor ceremony, just wait for the shower to pass, dry things off and go. But you can always opt to do the ceremony inside as well if you so desire. Regarding the statement that we just want to make a profit, of course, we are running a business. We give to many charities locally and around the world, but The Old Grove has overhead and costs too that must be met. I am really sorry, whoever you are, that you did not have the budget to have the extras that it sounds like you wanted and that were very important to you. But I'm sure that your guests were very impressed, and did not expect anything more. Please allow yourself to enjoy your once in a lifetime event. May God bless you and yours.
