th all of our change orders. The delivery crew was very efficient and quick dropping everything off and picking up. I can't say enough about the amazing clear top tent. Our wedding was in the woods and it was fantastic to be able to see the tree tops through the clear top.

t the online photos weren't detailed enough to help us decide without more insight. We were told by our catering vendor that this was the partner they worked with so we felt a bit tied into them and made it work. Also, we had ordered a specific type of high-top tables and received different, cheaper looking ones at the venue so we had to make adjustments in real-time, but they did refund us for the wrong tables.
Their staff is incredibly kind. From what I've seen (not as the bride), they do a beautiful sperry tent that makes my heart jump for joy.

get a good view of the items, colors, etc, and there is not much of a meaningful portfolio. They are still only taking appointments, so if you want to see something, you have to schedule a formal time and they are busy.
The biggest thing, though, is that they brought the wrong color table cloth to my event. It was discovered too late to not cause chaos, so we just went with it, but that's a pretty large sized error for a wedding rental.
They were incredibly helpful and worked with me one on one to make many changes and help me get exactly what I needed.

t's only because they had exactly what I was looking for and at the best prices. Their delivery and pick-up charges were less than anywhere else without additional fees for weekends. My contract was written up quickly and it was legible and all made sense. I even contacted the woman I had been working with two weeks before my wedding to make a few changes and she happily obliged! e good advice on what to rent and in what quantity. When our plans or numbers changed slightly, it was never a problem to alter our contract, even up until the last few days before our events! They had lots of options for pickup and drop off of the rentals, and they know all the venues in town really well so they know what works.

The Party Place was one of the only rentals places that had a clear tent. They did an amazing job setting it up. And they were very accommodating when I added a 10x20ft section just a few days before the wedding.

I called the Party Place, where I had already ordered glasses, only two days before the wedding and they were able to add all the linens I needed. Delivery was right on time, everything was as ordered, and when my bartender returned five glasses that she had accidentally taken home at the end of the night (they didn't fit in the rack with the rest so had been placed in a separate box and no one knew where they came from), the Party Place cheerfully refunded the money I was charged for them.
We used them to rent all of our linens. They allowed us to pick up on Friday and drop off on Monday. Super simple and affordable. We also had until 48 hrs prior to event to change our order.

we had a good idea. We finally knew about 2 weeks before the wedding. They still had everything we needed!!!! It turned out to be perfect!!! They have high quality stuff, and for an okay price. I got almost everything from here! Chairs, chair ties, table linens, and everything for my centerpieces except the flowers themselves. It was sooooo easy too! I just went in, ordered, and picked it up a few days before the wedding. My parents returned everything two days after the wedding. I will use them for EVERYTHING from now on.

were looking for. We even had a diagram. She took one look and immediately told us they couldn't do that. She said it multiple times and even called someone to confirm her (without actually telling them what she was trying to do). When I finally got sick of listening to her tell us she couldn't do it that way I asked her what way they could do it. We were told there was no way for them to do outdoor lighting. A party rental place can not do outdoor lighting. We finally selected an alternative and went on our way. I should have listened to my gut and walked away when she was almost hysterical that they couldn't do it that way. She called me over a week later to tell me that what she had booked for us wouldn't work and the other option was going to be $5 more expensive for each pole. We only had 12 poles. Instead of asking me if this would be a viable option she informed me she was going to cancel our order, without giving me the option or opportunity to offer an alternative. The lack of customer service and unwillingness to look for a solution was baffling. The only thing I can think of is they really didn't need the business. Stay away unless you are doing something cookie cutter and have an electricians license.

I rented chairs for my ceremony from The Party Place. Not only did they have exactly what I wanted, but they had the best price in all of Portland :) They delivered on time and were very helpful!
we wanted to get our rentals from there but at the end a family member helped us out. they are really nice and can help you with everything you need
