We had our wedding rehearsal dinner at the Queen Mary - Sir Winston's. The experience was awful. I dealt with Lory, and eventually her boss, Saurav. We asked that not only our rehearsal be acknowledged, but also a 47-year wedding anniversary... within our party, and an 8 year old birthday. We were assured that this was no problem. We selected our menu and the date and time. The staff at Sir Winston's had no clue that we were even there for a rehearsal dinner, much less the other events we were celebrating. They said they are a fine dining restaurant, and do not do anything special for celebrations. Saurav (the big boss of the food department) claimed he investigated, but ultimately did nothing, and implied I was lying about what Lory had promised me. I should have gone to one of the other fabulous restaurants in Long Beach to celebrate my once-in-a-lifetime event.
