Our daughter got married in May at Bella Donna Chapel and had an Italian-themed reception at The Sanctuary Music & Event Center. Everything was magical! If you are looking for a venue that is unique, intimate but with plenty of beautiful space downstairs and also upstairs with a balcony, I highly recommend it. Working with Jennifer at The Sanctuary was a pleasure and she works really hard to please everyone. We could not have been happier by the venue choice!

Hosting our Spirit of Volunteerism ceremony at The Sanctuary was a truly wonderful experience. From the serene ambiance to the impeccable service, every detail was thoughtfully curated. The team's professionalism and dedication made the planning process seamless. We will definitely be returning for future events!

The Sanctuary is the perfect venue for your reception or special event. We decided on using the Sanctuary for our wedding reception because it has lovely European architecture that really only needs some flowers to make it event ready. The space fit our 100 guests and left plenty of room for a dance floor. Our guests continue to rave about the beautiful space. Also, adding a note about the staff. The team at The Sanctuary are amazing! They truly care about you and are there to make your special event perfect!

The sanctuary was a phenomenal place to have our wedding! The venue was beautiful and Jennifer is awesome. She is very responsive and has a ton of experience and connections in the wedding industry. She knew the answers to our many many many questions and really worked with us to have the perfect wedding. Like I said she is well connected in the North Texas Wedding scene and recommended us very valuable vendors that were the key to our successful wedding day. Highly Recommend!

From the staff to the venue and location, everything was beautiful! We have the best time there and everything was so well organized. I do recommend anyone having their event here at the sanctuary. Loved every moment of it!

We had both our wedding ceremony and reception at The Sanctuary, and it was amazing! The venue is absolutely gorgeous, and the location in Adriatica Village is filled with beautiful and unique spots for photos. Our primary contact, Jennifer, was great to work with and was patient with us and all of our questions and special requests - thanks to her and her team, our special day went off without a hitch. It was just a fantastic experience all around, and I would heartily recommend this venue for anyone looking to host a wedding, reception, or other special event.

My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Sanctuary in August 2023, and we cannot recommend it as a reception venue enough! We booked the all-inclusive package , so it took a lot of stress out of the wedding planning process not to have to hunt down our own vendors. Jennifer was so easy to work with, and allowed us to access the Sanctuary whenever needed (we probably visited the venue to take measurements/meet with Jennifer about 4 times before the wedding). The stage worked out perfectly for our band, and the bridal suite had plenty of room to accommodate my 11 bridesmaids and me. Again, highly recommend!

The venue offers great acoustics, spacious seating, and clean bathrooms. The banquet area is spacious yet quite cozy. There’s no problem looking for a parking space because the parking provides ample spots for catering trucks and cars. Jennifer is an on-site manager who readily assists where needed. Truly a professional, Jennifer offers suggestions for setup and procedures.

Amazing venue. Great staff. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an intimate, upscale venue with charm and warmth.

As a planner, I love tried and true venues like the Sanctuary. Jennifer and the staff are so easy to work with, it is gorgeous, floor plans are flexible... I can't say enough! Love working there!

This was a wonderful venue for our wedding! Jennifer was so helpful and patient with us, and was very quick to communicate and answer any of our questions. Cooper was our day of coordinator and was so friendly and easy to work with. All of our guests told us how beautiful the wedding was, it was Magical!

My husband and I got married here April 2nd, 2023 and it turned out so beautiful and amazing! I couldn't have picked a better venue. The staff was so helpful and caring. They answered any and every question we had and helped us coordinate this wedding for the entire planning journey.

Jennifer, the sales manager was very prompt and easy to communicate with. All our transactions like payment etc went very smoothly. Our guests loved the rustic and very Texan architecture of the venue.

This is such a beautiful venue for romantic special events. As a guest, we could enjoy visiting with friends and family in an open space that felt intimated once the special couple arrived. The elevated stage, sound system, and private rooms upstairs seem to offer all the extra things a bride would need to eliminate stress and enjoy herself.

This is the 2nd year for us to host our annual FOP Auxiliary Purse BINGO at The Sanctuary. The venue is stunning and we were blown away by the professionalism and attentiveness of the staff. The Sanctuary is the top choice for our events. Extra thank you to Jennifer for being so accommodating to our group and helping us throughout the process.

My wedding was perfect! The venue is beautiful! Planning a wedding is so stressful. The all inclusive package just made it so much easier to bring it all together. Jennifer and the team she has built for this all inclusive package is the way to go.

We loved having our reception at The Sanctuary! My bridesmaids and I loved getting ready together in the bridal suite. Having the groomsmen right down the hall helped all of us ensure that we were time for pictures, the ceremony and had a place to store our things until the big send off. The venue coordinator, Jennifer, helped ensure that our reception was the best it could be!

I had my wedding on Saturday May 28th, 2022 it was the best day of my life!!! This place it’s amazing. During all The process Jennifer was Amazing, super friendly and all the time she was available to answer all of my questions. I got ready at that beautiful bridal suite and the day of my wedding the whole team was great! I definitely had the best wedding ever. I recommend this place, my party was for 150ppl and it was perfect.

Not a wedding..an art event..great venue

For our 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration, we were referred to The Sanctuary Event Center by the Administrative Assistant to our church pastor. She said she'd heard complimentary remarks from couples who'd had their wedding reception there. I contacted manager Jennifer Buschmann who made herself available to discuss date availability, costs, and features of the beautiful event center which has both upper and lower levels. Beginning on 1/31/22, I met with Jennifer monthly on four occasions to review details, discuss progress and options such as lighting and linens, placement of tables, and to make periodic payments. She had a recommended vendors list and from it, we used three McKinney businesses -- Farm Haus Catering (Italian cuisine), Sweet Art Bakery, and Holly Vines Floral Designs. Since we wanted to furnish our own beer and wine, Jennifer suggested Total Wine in Allen as an outlet for purchase and its generous return policy, and noted that serving would be done by The Sanctuary bartender. We independently selected Angela Jesulaitis (AngelaJ Photography) as our photographer for church and for the reception, Micah Johnson of Divine Purpose Entertainment as our DJ, and Patty Corsi as pianist during vows renewal at church. On the day of the celebration, Jennifer's assistant, Andree, was the on-site event coordinator while Tami was the catering coordinator. Both coordinators excelled in their roles, being cheerful, helpful, and efficient. During the 4-hour celebration, the only oversight, (which was quickly corrected), was that the table numbers were missing from the individual tables so that guests could consult the seating chart mounted on a tripod to find their seats. The coordinators added an elegant touch in the manner in which they displayed our Scottish clan tartan plaids over chairs in front of the Sweetheart Table (reserved for the Bridal Couple and "Best Couple"). This was in preparation for us and our six flower girls to sing "Loch Lomond" as is traditionally sung at Scottish weddings, following dinner. Overall, we were extremely pleased with the service performed and arranged by The Sanctuary and would recommend it to other couples without hesitation. Jennifer, Andree, and Tami get a 5-star rating for their efforts and service.

I've been in the wedding industry for 10 years - trust me when I say your vendors will make or break your "best day ever"!! The communication and customer service provided by The Sanctuary far exceeded my expectations. The collaborative relationship between The Sanctuary - Bella Donna Chapel - Ricks Chophouse Catering is seamless. Kate's wedding and wedding reception really was her BEST DAY EVER!

The first thing that attracted us to this venue is the beauty of it . This venue is perfect if you are looking for a smaller reception with 150 guests or less . We had our reception here and thanks to Jennifer for working with us to make it all come together. Jennifer was very professional and always communicated with us to make sure everything was coordinated as it should be. We would highly recommend The Sanctuary for a wedding reception.

Atmosphere was very warm and welcoming for our guests. Lots of room for tables and dancing and the band. It was a wonderful evening

This was the PERFECT venue for our 1920s themed party! Jennifer and Conner were just fantastic to work with. They were able to adjust some of the plans on the fly without our attendance noticing. They really went above and beyond to provide excellent service and did it with top notch professionalism. We will be hosting many more events here!

Booked here for my daughter's quinceañera and it was a great experience all around, from planning to the actual event to cleanup. The place is beautiful, the space and layout was just right, and the set-up was perfect. Loved everything about it. Thank you for such a great event!

The facility was nice , but we had a very difficult time with getting the person of contact to communicate. She would not email or call back for many days and sometimes not at all . She would not be available for us to see the inside to measure for decorating because she was always out of town or busy . Not so great of customer service for the price .

The venue is beautiful! Working with Jennifer was easy and she was very flexible. Our first choice food vendor would not work with us based on our venue, they said they are difficult to work with. We went with a preferred vendor, Farm Haus Catering, which was great and tasty. The elevator comes right into the bridal suite, but as long as no one is coming up it is ok. Overall a great experience and great venue! Very accommodating!

Jennifer was very responsive. She helped us with ensuring everything went smoothly on our wedding day. She is easy to talk to and very professional. The venue is beautiful and she works with you to bring your vision to a reality.

The sanctuary is a beautiful setting for a reception. It was so convenient to our wedding venue at Bella Donna Chapel. They were willing to work together and everything went very smoothly. As the father of the bride, I did not enter into a lot of the details of the planning. So I would say my biggest frustration with the sanctuary was email communication. They have a special system set up through their website and it is hard to know how to communicate directly with them. You don’t just use an email address but I have to go through the website to communicate.

We could not have chosen a better venue for our wedding reception! The staff was so helpful during the planning process and they were very punctual the day of. We did not have to worry about anything as the event manager was ensuring everything ran smoothly. The venue is so beautiful and we received so many compliments from our guests.

The Sanctuary was the perfect venue for what we wanted! Perfect balcony for cocktail hour and an elevator for handicapped access. We especially loved the video we received. So many camera angles were captured. The planning process was a breeze and the coordinator on the day of was so helpful. Highly Recommend!

This venue was everything we had hoped for! With there stage, it optimizes the viewing experience for the guests. The lighting was perfect and the video recording we received from the venue was far better that we expected to receive. So many camera angles! The communication during the planning process was exceptional and having a coordinator there during the event was so helpful. We totally recommend this venue to anyone looking for an easy-to-budget-for wedding venue. We were so impressed that we want to book an event there for my parents' 50th anniversary!

The Sanctuary ( specially Jennifer Bushman) were fantastic for our wedding reception, very professional and helpful in many ways. We are specially grateful when they tried to accommodate our needs when we had to postpone our wedding because of the pandemia. We really recommend this place for your special event.

Fantastic venue! Absolutely adored it! First, the venue itself is beautiful both inside and out! It has perfect picture-taking areas all around! Jennifer was phenomenal at guiding us through the process of planning the reception, and she responded well to questions and concerns! She was very open and willing to help, and she provided an on-site manager the day of! We couldn't have asked for a better place for our wedding reception!

This was an incredible location for our wedding reception! The space felt wonderful, it was wonderfully lit in my preferred color, and there was plenty of room for dancing and for sit-down dinner. There was a separate space for our vendor team to go and relax, the staff was professional and everything was where it was supposed to be and running smoothly. I was really happy with the entire reception and this location with all the vendor they recommended was a perfect choice.
