Jennifer was so easy to work with, and allowed us to access the Sanctuary whenever needed (we probably visited the venue to take measurements/meet with Jennifer about 4 times before the wedding). The stage worked out perfectly for our band, and the bridal suite had plenty of room to accommodate my 11 bridesmaids and me. Again, highly recommend!

ry remarks from couples who'd had their wedding reception there. I contacted manager Jennifer Buschmann who made herself available to discuss date availability, costs, and features of the beautiful event center which has both upper and lower levels. Beginning on 1/31/22, I met with Jennifer monthly on four occasions to review details, discuss progress and options such as lighting and linens, placement of tables, and to make periodic payments. She had a recommended vendors list and from it, we used three McKinney businesses -- Farm Haus Catering (Italian cuisine), Sweet Art Bakery, and Holly Vines Floral Designs. Since we wanted to furnish our own beer and wine, Jennifer suggested Total Wine in Allen as an outlet for purchase and its generous return policy, and noted that serving would be done by The Sanctuary bartender. We independently selected Angela Jesulaitis (AngelaJ Photography) as our photographer for church and for the reception, Micah Johnson of Divine Purpose Entertainment as our DJ, and Patty Corsi as pianist during vows renewal at church. On the day of the celebration, Jennifer's assistant, Andree, was the on-site event coordinator while Tami was the catering coordinator. Both coordinators excelled in their roles, being cheerful, helpful, and efficient. During the 4-hour celebration, the only oversight, (which was quickly corrected), was that the table numbers were missing from the individual tables so that guests could consult the seating chart mounted on a tripod to find their seats. The coordinators added an elegant touch in the manner in which they displayed our Scottish clan tartan plaids over chairs in front of the Sweetheart Table (reserved for the Bridal Couple and "Best Couple"). This was in preparation for us and our six flower girls to sing "Loch Lomond" as is traditionally sung at Scottish weddings, following dinner. Overall, we were extremely pleased with the service performed and arranged by The Sanctuary and would recommend it to other couples without hesitation. Jennifer, Andree, and Tami get a 5-star rating for their efforts and service.

Sanctuary far exceeded my expectations. The collaborative relationship between The Sanctuary - Bella Donna Chapel - Ricks Chophouse Catering is seamless. Kate's wedding and wedding reception really was her BEST DAY EVER!

moothly. As the father of the bride, I did not enter into a lot of the details of the planning. So I would say my biggest frustration with the sanctuary was email communication. They have a special system set up through their website and it is hard to know how to communicate directly with them. You don’t just use an email address but I have to go through the website to communicate.

orry about anything as the event manager was ensuring everything ran smoothly. The venue is so beautiful and we received so many compliments from our guests.
