Welcome to The Stained Grain! We're Brittany & Nathan, a husband and wife team specializing in customized, hand-lettered wooden signs. Our line of customized wedding signs add the extra special, personalized touch to any wedding, from formal to casual. We hand cut each board to size, hand cut and groove each frame, hand paint and stain each component, hand write each draft and hand letter each sign! Part of what makes our pieces so special is the individual attention given to each piece-we NEVER use pre-made product, vinyl letters or stencils! Please note that we are able to create pieces in essentially any color scheme or size, so just ask! We'd love to chat and help you put together the wedding of your dreams! If you are looking for customs signs or anything wedding look no further. The Stained Grain made all of my wedding dreams come true with our custom wedding invitations. They were absolutely stunning! I have received so many compliments on them. The whole process was Super easy and really took the stress off that part of our wedding planning. We have also purchased two signs that hang in our home and bring smiles to everyone who sees them. Each sign is perfectly designed with no flaws. We are ordering more signs for our wedding as well!!!
I love The Stained Grain signs! I’ve purchased them for wedding and house warming gifts. I’m a realtor, so I’ve added them to my closing gift baskets as well. Everybody that has received one from me has appreciated the personal touch of their sign. Brittany and Nathan made one that said “Home” in Greek lettering, and the recipient was amazed. She loved it!
Every sign is beautifully designed and stained. I’m always proud and excited to gift these signs. My order is always filled quickly, which is important to me. Nathan anBrittany are a pleasure to work with! I will be definitely continue doing business with them.

I was so lucky to have found the Stained Grain through Instagram. Brittany is absolutely amazing to work with. I had a big sign made for above our family bed and a couple inspirational signs. Loved the very personally touch and care with the pieces I ordered. I loved not being hurried to make a decision and she was so happy to make multiple drafts until I was happy and I didn’t feel I was an inconvience to her. Brittany and Nathan are a dream to work with! They really take the time to listen to your wishes and understand your vision. Best part of course is that they can customize everything, so your wedding decor is going to be unique (which is what we all want)!
