Exceeded our expectations! We was so busy throwing all of our ideas out but she helped it come to life and be even better than we'd imagine. Our guest almost a year later still rave about how great our wedding cake was.

First, let me start off by saying that I had not eaten cake since I was a kid because normally I don’t like the texture of it. I always thought that cake was dry and spongy. However, I was tasked with getting cupcakes for a function and I heard great things about The Sweet Stop Of RVA so I looked them up on social media and since the pictures were amazing, I decided to try them. The cupcakes were so pretty and smelled so good, I had to eat one. It was absolutely delicious! All of the people that knew that I didn’t eat cake were surprised that I ate multiple cupcakes. The following year, my cousin got married and I was asked to find someone who made beautiful and tasty cakes. Of course, I knew where to go. The Sweet Stop Of RVA did not disappoint! Not only was the cake stunning but her suggestion to do a smaller cake and have cupcakes was a hit!!!  It made things so much easier and people are still talking about those cupcakes.  My mom’s birthday came right after and I ordered cupcakes again. We tried different flavors and the attendees couldn’t believe how many different flavors they had to choose from as well as how scrumptious they were.  Last year in November, we had another wedding and a baby shower in the family and we used The Sweet Stop of RVA for both. The wedding cake and cupcakes were gorgeous and tasted great as usual. Everyone raved about the presentation and the taste. For the baby shower the owner created an entire experience that I could not have imagined with cake, cupcakes, cake pops, pretzels, cookies and more! All of the items followed a bee theme. All attendees as well as I were in awe of the cake and treat table.  In addition to the items being beautiful and delicious, the owner takes the time to understand exactly what you need and makes each experience personal. Last but not least, when the owner delivers and sets up the cakes, she gives instructions on how to handle and cut the cake which is extremely important.  We will continue to use The Sweet Stop Of RVA to make our events memorable!!!

Raina graciously accepted my request to make my Emerald City Wedding cake in Kentucky, and they didn't hesitate to make the 10 hour journey from Virginia to ensure our celebration was perfect. Raina Washington and The Sweet Stop of RVA have been incredible for our family for many years. She made our wedding cake 5 years ago and it was absolutely perfect, both in taste and design.
