I had the best time working with Sheryl for wedding hair and makeup for myself, my bridal party, and my mom! She was friendly, quickly responsive, and very professional! I cried for over an hour through my ceremony and photos and didn't have to touch up a single time throughout my 7+ hour day. My hair stayed in place perfectly as well! I was overly pleased and amazed with the quality of work, friendliness, and how professional Sheryl was throughout the entire process! I received amazing feedback from my wedding party as well :)

Amy and her team are responsive, organized and beyond creative!. I was paired with Adela for my wedding hair + makeup, and she kind and considerate around COVID protocols while executing the EXACT look I requested. I was swept away during my run through that she brought me to tears. I had 100% confidence going into the wedding day that I would be more than pleased. Thank you Adela.

I asked the wedding gods for a thin hair specialist, and I got her in Adela. LISTEN PEOPLE, the woman made miracles happen and I couldn’t have been happier with the end result. I am not a girl who does (or has) a lot of hair and makeup ever, and Adela absolutely nailed my wedding day look. I didn’t have a lot of ideas when I went to her for my trial but she listened to what I had for her, and made me feel 100% comfortable and we laughed the entire time. Adela and Cynthia were so professional and easy to work with on our wedding day and they came all the way to us in Oakland. Amy was incredibly professional and responsive and made everything on the administrative side of things SO easy ahead of time. Our bridesmaids looked spectacular, and a couple of them were on the thin haired side too… I’m telling you people, they made miracles happen. I’d recommend them 100 times over.

I cannot thank Amy and Adela enough for my unforgettable wedding look. Seriously Adela (a senior stylist) is so incredible and talented, not to mention the type of person you want to be friends of. Amy, Adela and their team made planning hair and makeup for my wedding not only easy, but comfortable, adaptable, and of course stunning. With constant communication, Adela helped me plan and execute the exact look I wanted ( Audrey Hepburn Esque.) Adela and her assistant came right to our hotel room, so me and the bridesmaid could relax in style. They chatted and laughed with us, asked questions and were very open to feedback, I cant imagine getting ready without them there. Plus Adela emailed me the sweetest note and pic after. You can tell that Adela, Amy and the rest of the stylist love what they do and really care. I feel so blessed I found them. Thanks Adela I loved, loved, loved my hair and makeup and the pictures were stunning because of your impeccable work.

I found that the whole process with the Traveling Stylist team was fantastic! Working with Amy to set things up went so smoothly and then getting connected with Heather was the best thing that could have happened. During my consultation with Heather I felt like she was listening to what I saw saying and providing her expert opinion. I never once felt like she was trying to force something on me that wasn't in line with what I wanted. Then she let me know that if anything needed to change that she would be able to be flexible and sure enough she was right - I went from a down do to an up do and she did a fantastic job. She had Angelina and Angelica with her on the day of the wedding (I had a big bridal party) and all the women were happy with their hair and make-up. I cannot say enough good things about this team!

I have also reviewed Amy on Yelp but wanted to make sure I covered all of my bases so all brides know how wonderful she is! To make it short and sweet, my whole experience with Amy from start to finish was the best I could have asked for. She truly cares about making you feel amazing and you can feel that from the moment you meet her. My hair and makeup (and my bridesmaids, mom and mother in law) all looked gorgeous. You will not go wrong with Amy, she is the person you want around on your wedding day!

I stumbled upon The Traveling Stylist when searching for a hair and make up artist for my September 2013 wedding and am so happy that I did. Amy and her team were so easy to work with and took care of my entire wedding party. They brought out the true beauty and individuality of each of my bridesmaids. My make up and hair held up for the entire day which included heavy rain, dancing and tears. Amy's team worked very hard all day (without breaks) to ensure that my 7 bridesmaids, MOB/MOG and myself were ready on time. Prices were very reasonable especially for the quality service that you receive. I had never felt more beautiful than I did the day of my wedding and I owe it all to Amy. Thank you so much!

Amy helped me out of a last minute jam when a bridesmaid flaked out of my wedding- who was meant to do my hair & make-up! She was prompt, professional, kind, supportive & just overall wonderful to deal with & once my hair & make-up were finished I was transformed into a gorgeous bride! Thanks Amy!!
