We spent quite some time looking at different bands for our wedding because one of our main goals was to have a dance party. Many bands that had good reviews also charged an arm and a leg, but when we saw that The Untouchables had stellar revie...
ws and were more affordable, we felt we hit the jackpot. Wayne was always easy to get ahold of and really made our lives easier during this process. He spontaneously provided amplification for our ceremony and even learned a couple new songs for our big day. I wanted to do a country line dance with my counsins and they learned a new song (very well might I add) within a week. During the reception, the band had everyone up on their feet throughout the night. We loved when the musicians would come down on the dancefloor and join the guests. At one point, I thought they were taking a break because there was a slower song and the voice was so beautiful, but when I turned towards the stage, I was shocked to see that it was actually them playing still. If you want a great time with great music, you should definitely choose The Untouchables. I could not recommend them more!

They played for us outside during a massive heat wave in Philly and were totally professional and cool about it. e whole wedding, everyone was asking us where we found this amazing band. Everyone was absolutely amazing. The band members playing the horns were dancing around with our guests! The vocalists were incredible! It was so fun. They also were able to play the most amazing hora medley for our Jewish wedding - the best one I've ever heard. My father had such an amazing time, he was singing along with them to "Call Me Al" into a microphone! Wayne also worked with us for our first dance to get us a sample of how they were going to cut "Wonderful Tonight" for our dance lessons, which was very helpful. He worked our favorite songs into the night and made everything special. All of our guests were on the dance floor. Everything was amazing and I'm still getting text messages days later raving about this band. My friend was talking about doing a five year vow renewal just so she can have a reason to book them. I highly recommend making The Untouchables Band a part of your special day. Trust me, you won't be sorry!

From the arrival of guests at 4:00pm through the entire reception, The Untouchables were incredible and never stopped the live music outside of the ceremony. Band members played the whole night through, until 11:00pm finishing with a most special solo to end a special night
The range of songs, the ability to keep the crowd on the dance floor and the way they ran the evening was second to none. f our wedding. Before the big day, Wayne was wonderful in coordinating all of the fine details. He was extremely responsive via phone call and email and answered all of our questions regarding our vision, the song list, the contract, schedule, setting up the sound systems, and last-minute changes on the day-of. He was easy to work with and very accommodating. On the actual day of our wedding, The Untouchables were timely and professional. They customized every song and minute of the reception based on OUR wants and needs. Needless to say, the music played by the eight-person band was nothing short of INCREDIBLE. Before the entrees were served, we had 95% of our guests JAMMING on the dance floor. EVERYONE DID NOT WANT DINNER TO START—THEY JUST WANTED TO KEEP DANCING TO THE UNTOUCHABLES! The energy of every bandmember was amazing, they did not take breaks so we had continuous music (even with a baller pregnant drummer who absolutely KILLED IT), they were interactive with the guests, and they were funny and not cheesy when it came to the announcements and entrances. Wayne even learned how to play the song for our first dance! Trust me when I say that we are MUSIC AFICIONADOS, so we have very high standards and were so impressed--we could not have been more pleased with the outcome and the music on our perfect day! I'm a fan of almost any live music at weddings. But the Untouchables aren't just any great band - they help create an unforgettable evening and ensure that your wedding has the best dance party your guests have ever experienced at a wedding.
I had been fortunate enough to attend a wedding where the Untouchables performed, and my whole family and I were in agreement - the band at this wedding was incredible. So when I got engaged a couple years later, one of the first things I did was reach out to this family friend to get Wayne's details. We basically ended up picking our wedding date because the Untouchables still had availability. ZERO regrets. Not only was Wayne incredibly responsive throughout the process, but he lends an experienced POV in thinking through timelines. He is just as invested as you are in getting the party started (for all ages), and he managed the flow and timing of our reception flawlessly.

edding. Well, Wayne and The Untouchables again did not disappoint! They not only spent the time to learn the song Jaja Ding Dong (from Netflix's Eurovision) but were also willing to play other songs, not on their provided song list. They created a timeline for our wedding that kept the party dancing all night! There was never a moment where guests were not on the dance floor. We even had a power outage for about 5 minutes during the reception, and the band did not miss a bit. They kept playing and singing during the outage that many people did not even notice we lost power! I not only had many attendees tell me the band was terrific after the wedding but had two bridesmaids (who are currently planning their weddings) ask for the band's contact information as they hope to have them at their own weddings. I seriously can not wait to see the band again. You can not go wrong with hiring The Untouchables.

our first dance was a Salsa routine, and allowed the groom to sit in on guitar for a song with his uncle on conga drums) without any hesitation. We received glowing reviews from almost all of our guests, and we certainly agreed that the band brought the house down.
However, I would like to note that when following up with Wayne, we offered the feedback that some of our guests had told us that the cocktail hour music had started late, and ended early, although our agreement was for continuous music. We were met with an EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional email response that not only disparaged our other vendors, venue, and our own requests, but brought to light issues that could have simply been managed with our coordinator the day of. The tone of this response left a really bad taste in our mouths, and throwing in our face issues that occurred while we were having the most memorable night of our lives seems like bad practice in the wedding industry.

Part of the reason they're so good is all the homework they do beforehand. Wayne took all of our phone calls regarding song selection and suggestions, responded quickly to frantic emails regarding changes to set pieces, and accommodated day of changes.
Their song list is expansive, with current hits and many classics. Wayne and The Untouchables also learned a few new pieces for us.

for our honeymoon, we didn't really have a chance to catch up with any of our friends/family/guests. However, this past weekend and to this day, people are still raving about The Untouchables and asking us where/how we found them. While we were away, people were calling or stopping our parents while they were out to tell them how amazing The Untouchables were. The entire band was PHENOMENAL and far exceeded our expectations (which were high to begin with!). Everyone was so impressed with the vocals, how fun everyone in the band was, the fact that they did not stop playing all night, the variety of songs from new to old, etc. Those are just the few things we keep hearing about. Wayne was super easy to work with and very accommodating - a friend of ours sang the father/daughter song and the band worked with him to make it possible. They also allowed some friends sing a song with them on stage at the end. We asked for some songs to be played that they don't typically play and they came through on everything. We talked through how the wedding would run beforehand and it was exactly what we asked for and wanted. The Untouchables truly made our wedding reception the most fun Marc and I (and everyone else) had in one night ever. There is not a single thing I would change about anything on our wedding day. We are so happy that we found the band and really hope that some of our friends book them for their upcoming weddings so that we can see them live again!

schedule that allowed a half hour of dancing between each course, and it was perfect. We went over what kind of music off his song list we wanted to hear and he and just ran with it. When we booked them, I asked them if they could do 2 songs that were not on their list- a Beastie Boys song and a kind of random Irish Drinking song (Wild Rover) that my family is partial to. They delivered, and it was AWESOME! The band really got a feel for the room and played songs that got the dancing crowd pumped. I saw my DAD up and dancing, and I have NEVER seen that before. I must have had 10 people asking for their info at the end of the night and over the week after the wedding. Wonderfully professional, eclectic song mix, and most of all FUN!

Wayne has been bringing music to weddings and high profile special events for over twenty years, and his experience shows in the level of detail and dedication he brings to every party. With his group of tremendous musicians and singers, Wayne has helped bring the joy of music to over 1,000 wedding celebrations throughout the Philadelphia and Tri-state area.
After his four year affiliation with The Entertainment Group ended in 1994, Wayne has been on his own ever since, so be assured that every detail will be handled directly with Wayne from start to finish.
