So very disappointed...and can't get my money backReviewed on 11/17/2012 Jenn A
BUYER BEWARE: I hired this group of musicians for my Oct. 19th wedding in Dahlonega, GA. Brian was great through the planning process, very responsive, and I was super excited to have a string trio play for our ceremony. They were scheduled to arrive at 5:00pm to start playing at 5:30 for our 6pm ceremony. At 5:55, I was informed they had not shown up yet. The onsite coordinator scrambled to run the reception musicians down to the ceremony pavilion so I would have some music to walk down the aisle to and thank goodness they were cool enough to do that for me. At the reception, I was informed the Divine Strings musicians did show up…at 6:40pm…after the ceremony was finished and over 90 minutes after their scheduled arrival time. I contacted Brian several times after the wedding and he has not responded once to my requests for an explanation and refund. So they kept my $556 and I received no services for that payment. I would recommend being very careful before booking this group for your own event.
Very unprofessional!Reviewed on 11/14/2012 Katie S
We used The Wedding Players after finding them online and read several great reviews. Our contract stated they would arrive 45 mins early to set up and start playing music 30 mins before the ceremony began. They showed up 10 mins before the ceremony after most guest had been seated. We could not get in touch with any of them and when questioned why they were late we were told they always show up 10 mins before even though our contract stated differently. Our DJs were on the way to the ceremony site to set up because we thought the musicians were a no show! We still can not get a call back and an answer on why they were late. VERY DISAPPOINTED!
Wonderful! and Last minute super herosReviewed on 9/19/2012 Britni C
I originally had different ceremony music plans, but they fell through 2 weeks before my event. I was in panic mode. I called several other string musicians from The Knot.com, but frankly very few actually called me back. Not only did The Wedding Players call back quickly, they were professional and confident and very well priced. They had a fantastic playlist of songs to chose from, they relaxed my nerves, were very communicative, were very punctual and played beautifully. I even paid their extra $25 fee for them to learn a custom song for my recessional. They didn't bat an eyelash and learned it by my wedding - it was wonderful! My guests loved them, I had several compliments. I had a large ceremony lofty venue, and the string duet (cello/violin) filled the space beautifully. I was grateful for their easy invoice/contract process through email and Paypal. Things turned out beautifully, far better than my original plan. I strongly strongly strongly recommend these guys.

Great CeremonyReviewed on 5/22/2012 Lauren B
I was really impressed with the band! They sounded beautiful and people all complimented how well they worked with the ceremony. They were very attentive with my music selections and making sure I got exactly what I wanted! Very pleased with the outcome.
Beautiful music great priceReviewed on 11/27/2011 Ashley D
The Wedding Players were the most affordable musicians we found but this had no bearing on the great service and beautiful music they played. Highly recommend
Really Added to the CeremonyReviewed on 11/02/2011 Kristine C
Brian and his group were great. The music before during and after the ceremony was beautiful. They definitely have the most competitive prices for strings. The only little negative thing I have to say is their lack of records and communication. I could have been a one time occurance but when I called and said my name (twice) he didn't know who I was and didn't think I had signed a contract.
Ceremony music was beautiful!Reviewed on 9/27/2011 Jessi L
I was so pleased with the music that the Wedding Players played at our ceremony! I had 5 songs I absolutely wanted that are not traditional wedding songs, but I had heard remade by the Vitamin Sting Orchestra, and the wedding players learned them (for a small fee) in less than two months and they all sounded exactly like the VSQ versions on iTunes! The musicians looked very professional and sounded beautiful....I couldn't have been happier!
Great ceremony musicians!Reviewed on 3/29/2011 Melanie B
I selected the cello and violin duet for my wedding and they were wonderful! I customized the songs I wanted them to play and they were flexible with payments and always excited to talk to me! I would highly recommend them!
