se of the AMAZING catering manager/coordinator Shannon! Shannon is the most spunky, enthusiastic, in-love-with-her-job woman we have ever met! She gave us the confidence that we could put a wedding together in 6 months and she would do whatever needed to make our dream wedding a reality. The Wild's has in house catering, handles all event set up and decor, and Shannon gave us several suggestions for other vendors (floral, photography, DJ, etc.) to make the planning process even simpler. Every question that came up during the planning process was answered day of and not a detail was left out. The night before our wedding we rehearsed and brought all of our ceremony and reception items to the venue to be stored for ease of set up the next day. We were amazed that The Wild's staff (Cheryl in particular) was going to set everything up for us day of so we would have nothing to worry about! Day of, the patio looked amazing, we took awesome photos all around the golf course, and received many compliments on the food--we chose the combination meal of steak and chicken and the chef was flexible with making accommodations for dietary restrictions. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day!

Her knowledge and experience make her an expert, and all of our questions were answered so quickly and the advice she provided was on point because she knows what works and what doesn’t. This is not her first rodeo! The whole staff shares this. They are experienced, professional, and service oriented. We have gotten at least 30-40 seperate comments on how good the food was. Mostly, “I can’t believe it was so hot and fresh” and “That didn’t taste like any wedding food I have ever had!” The ceremony was gorgeous and the staff worked so efficiently to make the transition from outside to inside for the reception that no one even noticed that the chairs were all brought back in and around the tables in under 15 min!! Shannon and her staff truly went above and beyond for us, she even had creme brûlée made for my wife and I for dessert because we told her it was our favorite. My wife and I were so impressed with The Wild’s we are trying to come up with another event that we can have there!! We will be back to play golf, have many brunches, lunches, and dinners. (Also, we would miss Shannon too much not to come back and see she and Cosette) :)

Shannon, the AMAZING wedding coordinator, was very prompt in replying to emails and would answer every one of my crazy questions and requests. There was nothing too far out of reach, they made everything work for us! Our center pieces were complimentary, beautiful, and exactly what we had wanted. A few days before our wedding, we dropped off a box of stuff with post it notes what is was for and we showed up to the reception!!!! Biggest stress relief ever! They do such a beautiful job at setting things up and making it look great. The venue is gorgeous as is and everything else just adds to it. The lights and the tulle on the ceiling help make it look elegant. The under cover security guard makes sure there are no issues and all of the staff are so friendly and helpful. I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Wilds. They were so reasonably priced and THE GREATEST staff to work with. Your wedding day will go perfectly smooth and Shannon and her staff will make sure of that! Check out The Wilds, you will fall in love!

As apart of the rental cost, you get your choice of linens and many decorative pieces. Not having to rent those on my own, was a time and money savings. The food is wonderful. Many guests came up to me at our reception and told me how much they enjoyed their dinners. Having a patio to sit outside was also a bonus. Overall, great experience at The Wilds.

Also on the day of, our primary point of contact didn't check in with us once before the ceremony and if she had, I feel the mix up mentioned above could have been avoided. Overall though this truly was a great experience, Shannon, Chantal & Cheryl were all friendly, professional and helpful!

think the longest I waited for an email back was 12 hours....and that was because I emailed in the middle of the night! The food was delicious and the chef was willing to work with us to combine things that they normally did not. The decorating was amazing. We did not really have to purchase anything because they had so many options through them that didn't cost extra. The staff was incredible and was there asking if I needed anything while we were doing a walk through even prior to booking, and they were there taking care of me day of as well. I wish I could go on and on and on about the incredible service we received but space is limited! Call Shannon, at least visit and I promise you will want to book.

They also took control of the social hour, dinner, cake, etc. Also, they were on top of who were the contacts for the alcohol throughout the night so they were not bugging my husband and I throughout the night for unnecessary reasons. We got many compliments about the presentation of the venue, food, and overall experience. The only hiccup we had was at the end of the night - the remaining workers, not Shannon -our main contact, thought they had cut into the top of our wedding cake because they thought they could have because it wasn't written down on our "contract", despite us having communicated that it should be saved and we were unaware that it needed to be written in numerous places. Luckily it wasn't cut into, but unnecessary stress. The reception area held our 300-315 guests without feeling overly crowded, which was amazing! The food was good overall...some of the steaks were pretty rare, but cooking for over 300 people, it was expected that not all meals would be perfect. There are many good options through The Wilds and all are of high quality. The aspect that kept this rating from a 5 was our need to initiate contact and keep up on aspects prior to the wedding with The Wilds. We booked this location for our reception and thought they would be really on top of everything...but certain aspects were lacking. We booked an appt to give our downpayment and the person was 45 minutes late to our meeting with no communication of their tardiness. Then, I got an email a few months later asking if we had paid because they didn't have records of our booking...luckily we had it in our records and forwarded it back to them, but again, nerve-wrecking! And we had to initiate contact regarding taste-testing, when we had to have final details and numbers to them, etc. Luckily we were on top of things, but if we weren't, it may not have gone as smoothly or we could have been charged unnecessarily. Overall, Shannon was a joy to work with and The Wilds provided a great venue for our wedding reception. No place is perfect...but this is a pretty great choice, especially for big guest lists.

wedding. I had about 380 people attend my wedding and I am still receiving compliments on how amazing of a venue I had and how that was the BEST FOOD they ever had at a wedding. Everything was perfection and I could not have asked for a more perfect day. It was raining almost all day for my wedding and not one person complained or even mentioned the rain. That is how you know everybody was pleased. :) I highly recommend the Wilds and Shannon for anybody who wants an amazing wedding!

Our cake was delivered without the flowers we had specified and the team at the Wilds stepped up and added some of our extra flowers to the cake to make it look more complete. I was promised little things along the way and Shannon ensured me it would all work out and I am not disappointed in the least bit. We couldn't be happier with our reception and would recommend The Wilds to newly engaged couples looking for an affordable but high end venue.

If you have a groom that is really into helping out and taking on a part of the wedding "roles", the Wilds and Shannon keept them on board and informed and make sure the groom follows up with the bride. We had our wedding in the dead of winter and everything looked perfect with my winter critter wedding. From the help with figuring out how to make cake pops to go with our theme to helping woth picking out the colors for chairs being I was kinda running solo in deciding things. If I could do my wedding and reception over, I would definitely go back to the Wilds time and time again!

Shannon is so easy to work with, she is completely dedicated to her job, and she is phenomenal at what she does. They offer an outdoor ceremony option on their back patio that is absolutely GORGEOUS. They also have a bride's room and rooms in the basement for both the males and females to get ready. There are so many perfect photo opportunities all around the building, including opportunities with views of the golf course. The Wilds offered everything we needed and then some, even for a guest list of 300! Their prices are reasonable, they don't charge a "room rental" (aka: throwing money away solely to use the room), and they have so many connections with vendors that it was a no-brainer for us! We love The Wilds!

Wilds had many table top decorations to use or even basic glass containers for my decorations I made. She even let me bring them home to arrange. I also really liked the building and open space set-up, such a wonderful dance floor! The center also has a really great working relationship with a DJ that was easy to coordinate and meet with. They really take care of you at the Wilds and that made my life so much less stressful during a very busy time. Would absolutely recommend them!

The day of the wedding it was to windy for my decorations outside, but that didn't matter because we were surrounded by beauty! The patio (wedding location) is beautiful. It is surrounded by the greens of the golf coarse, the edge is lined with potted flowers, and the patio has a fire ring which just sets the mood! It was started before the wedding and just added an additional touch, my husband, I and guest loved it! Afterwards the guest raved about the yummy appetizers that were passed around. Yet to be even more pleased with their dinner! Everyone commented on how the food was so yummy, served nice and hot, and some of the "best food ever"!! We ordered the Minnesota Stuffed Chicken and the Bistro Steak with cheesy hash browns, salad, green beans and dinner roles- everything was so good! But all of this is truly made possible because of Shannon and her dedication to her job, it shows that this is a passion for her not just a 9-5 job. She is so good at what she does I cant say enough about her. A few things that stood out that you wont find other places is the quick response time ( which is so nice when planning your big day, you will get a response within hours), if your not sure on something just ask her- she has so many ideas and recommendations that are so helpful and lastly her caring and cheerful personality, she really cares about you and wants this to be the best day ever and she will make sure on her behalf that it is! Shannon is the BEST of the BEST and we were so lucky to work with her!!! So thank you again to the WONDERFUL STAFF at The Wilds!!! The food was incredible - the Minnesota wild rice chicken was our favorite. The flexibility of the staff and the overall accommodations ultimately put the Wilds Golf Club over the top of all the other venues we were considering, and we did not regret it a single bit.

We liked that the Wilds had somewhat of a one-stop-shop feel....we were planning from out of state and it was nice knowing so many things were included if we chose The Wilds!! We settled on the Wilds for our June 22 wedding and were very pleased. Though we didn't necessarily want to get married on a golf course the views are fantastic and offer great photography options. We had hoped to get married on their beautiful patio but the weather turned out to be much too hot. This wasn't a problem for Shannon and her staff! They turned their banquet room into a lovely spot for our ceremony and then with ease changed it over for our dinner and reception. We were impressed with all of the food choices. Our guests said that the food was good, served in a timely manner, and was an adequate temperature! I am a vegetarian but I don't like onions....the dish was covered in them...but that was no problem for Shannon's efficient team...the brought me a fresh plate without a problem which was wonderful! We took some photographs off site before dinner and were a little late returning...Shannon and her staff had no problem adjusting for us!! Our guests loved the sundae bar and the late night pizza and our bartender was fantastic! We only had one issue which is the reason for our 4 star review...Our rehearsal was a bit chaotic and unorganized as there was no one from the staff who stayed with us to help guide us...it was too hot to go outside so we had to wing it a bit and ended up rehearsing in the main entrance! We made it but it would of been nice to have some more direction from the staff. There was a large golf tournament going on so things were very busy...which we understood...but we felt a bit forgotten. Also, after giving instructions to a staff member at rehearsal it was our understanding that several items would be in place well before our ceremony began (our guestbook, several photographs in frames, some signage, and mainly our escort cards). This was not carried out and our florist and our wedding coordinator had to do everything at the last minute. Other than that everything went very smoothly and we were very pleased! Thanks, Shannon, to you and your staff for all of your hard work to help make our day so special!

They did all of the set up and I felt like I had no reason to be worried. It looked beautiful and we received a lot of compliments. We also could have our dogs as part of our ceremony, they were welcomed outside (and would have been welcomed indoors too for rainy weather). Big plus for us!

took away a lot of the stress. Since the ceremony and reception took place in the same room they had to flip the room in-between and they did it extremely quick! We got the most compliments on how delicious the food was. I would definitely recommend this venue for a wedding!

Our guests were blown away by the professionalism and the quick turn around from Wedding to Reception. Shannon was a wonderful coordinator who made sure the day went off with no problems (or at least made sure I never knew about any problems). I was recently asked if I had any regrets or would change anything. Simple: absolutely not. The Wilds made a dream wedding possible, even within our budget constraints and we couldn't be happier.
