We definitely made the right decision booking the Wilshire Grand as our wedding venue! We worked with Rich, who made sure our planning process was seamless. Matthew was our maître d’ and he did a great job making sure our wedding day went perfectly. The whole Wilshire staff were fantastic. Our guests raved about the food. All of the spaces we used for our prelude, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were beautiful, and there were plenty of great spots for photos! We would highly recommend the Wilshire Grand for weddings!

We got married here on 4/28 & it was the absolute wedding of my dreams! I can't say enough good things about this venue. From our first meeting with Joe'l we knew we would be in good hands. She worked so closely with us & was so quick to respond every time I had a question. The venue is absolutely beautiful & our guests loved that they could go straight from the ceremony right into cocktail hour & then right into the reception with just a few short steps. The added bonus is that they even have a walkway that leads directly from the venue into the hotel without ever stepping outside (which was key because it was pouring the night of our wedding). We had 2 maitre'd's (Kirby & Junior) who went above & beyond to make everything perfect. Our guests were baffled at all of the food options during cocktail hour & had nothing but compliments about the service throughout the night. The martini bar they offer for cocktail hour still has people talking about it almost a month later now. I know personally that every time my husband or I came back to our table from the dance floor that we had a fresh drink waiting for us. We paid an extra fee which was very fair to open the bridal salons early. I had 14 girls in the bridal party + my mom, step mother, 2 grandmothers & 5 flower girls all down there at once & we weren't cramped at all. There are 2 rooms to go between so it was very comfortable & the room was stocked with champagne, water & beers for our convenience. They do offer to purchase a food package if you want them to bring food for you & your girls, but we opted to bring in our own (which they let us know from the start was an option). My bridal attendant went above & beyond to help with everything I needed from helping my mom & girls set up the center pieces to setting up our "In Memory" table perfectly. She also jumped in during photos any time I needed help laying my dress out without being asked. The viennese hour was the perfect end to our night! There were so many options & my absolute favorite part was the s'mores station. The Wilshire was an amazing venue with professional & classy staff who took care of my husband & I along with all of our guests all night. They are fairly priced & went out of their way before, during & after to ensure that we had the wedding of our dreams!

The Wilshire was on a shortlist of wedding venues we had put together prior to touring - and ultimately ended up being the PERFECT choice for us. Joe'l, Junior, & Kirby along with the entire staff went above and beyond to make this our perfect day. The venue is well kept and beautiful, the getting ready suites were recently renovated (and are stunning!), and the food exceed all expectations.

My husband and I got married at the Wilshire in the Loft space two days ago and Im still in the clouds. Joe’l and Junior and Kirby are true professionals. They ran the night so smoothly and made all of our wedding dreams come true. We have received so many compliments about the food, service and atmosphere. My only complaint is that I cant rewind time and live the day all over.

My husband and I fell in love with The Wilshire Caterers on the day we went for a tour. The venue was elegant and stunning. It was also incredibly convenient as you are able to have the ceremony, reception, hotel, and after party all onsite. We worked with Travis throughout the wedding process, and he was extremely professional, friendly, supportive, and very responsive the whole time. Angela was my bridal attendant, and she was amazing. When I arrived at 10AM with my bridal party, Angela helped us bring all of our belongings to the bridal suite and helped set everything up. The suite was stocked with champagne, wine, beer, and soda. Angela was a huge help with things I didn’t have time to set up the night before. She put together my card box for me and she asked me where I wanted the rest of my items for my wedding set up. Throughout the whole night Angela was also on top of everything by making sure my husband and I both ate enough, provided us with drinks, and kept everything on schedule for us. Originally, we planned to have our ceremony outside, however the weather did not cooperate, and it was a rainy day. We ended up having the ceremony in the Tuscany Ballroom. Angela immediately transformed the ceremony room beautifully with lanterns down the aisle along with candles and up lighting. Our Maître d', Junior was also outstanding. Prior to the Ceremony he gave us instructions and we were able to do 2 walkthroughs for our ceremony. Junior also made sure that the entire night went smoothly. Junior and his staff made sure everything was perfect from the ceremony, cocktail hour, and our reception in the Grand Ballroom. As for our reception, it was more than what my husband and I could have imagined. The Grand Ballroom is absolutely stunning and it really looks like a fairytale. We couldn’t have been any happier on how everything turned out. When our guests walked into the main lobby, they all were immediately greeted with a welcome drink of champagne and sparkling water. All of our guests still can’t stop raving about how amazing all the food was from the cocktail hour and the reception. They still tell us that this was the best wedding that they ever attended. Our cocktail hour was a huge hit and the bartenders were perfect at making everyone’s drinks. The vodka luge and the martini bar were also a huge hit that our guests loved. I highly recommend The Wilshire Caterers for hosting your Wedding, or any other type of an event. This venue will not disappoint! Travis, Angela, Junior, and the entire staff were amazing, and we are so thankful to them for making our Wedding Day so perfect.

I had my wedding at the Wilshire in August of 2021. It was originially scheduled for May, but with Covid we decided to move it to August with hopes that things would get better. My now husband and I had viewed quite a few wedding venues before signing with the Wilshire. We felt like we were at a car dealership with every venue besides the Wilshire. When we entered the Wilshire we were greeted by Joe'l and in awe of how beautiful the venue was. She made us feel like we were old friends and she is a huge reason we signed at the Wilshire. Joe'l answered so many emails beyond promply and reassured me constantly that everything would be perfect. The Wilshire was very reasonable and made our dream wedding a reality. When we had to change our date it was seamless. Joe'l couldn't have been more helpful every step of the way. The week of our wedding was a nightmare with people cancelling because of covid and Joe'l was so accomodating. Our wedding was the best day of my life and I thank the Wilshire for that. All of the staff including my bridal attendant was so attentive. My hair jewelry had fallen out and broke prior to arriving at the Wilshire and Joe'l and my bridal attendant were glueing it back together and putting pins in my hair. The food and space was beyond amazing. My family and friends couldn't stop raving about the cocktail hour, dinner and venetian hour. We had an entire room dedicated to just desserts. It was truly amazing and everything was delicious. The drinks were always flowing and the bartenders were great as well. I thank everyone at the Wilshire, but most importantly Joe'l for giving us everything we asked for and more. You are truly incredible!......Completely not connected to the Wilshire we did have our after party at Grill 350. You rent the space by paying a nice amount for two hours of cash bar for your guests after the wedding. All I will say is that if Gina is the one you are dealing with do not spend the money. We contacted the manager Travis after the situation who made things right, but what a not so nice way to end the night. She saw me in my wedding dress and did not once come up to say hello (we had been dealing with her for quite sometime) or congratulations. Instead she sat outside the open room and rolled her eyes at our guests who were nothing, but respectful of the space. She was rude and should not be in an industry like this. If it's anyone else, but her I would highly suggest a two-hour get together for your guests after the wedding.

I usually don't leave reviews but this place was so perfect I had to. The Wilshire was not originally in my radar until a friend suggested it after their brother got married there. I don't think the photos do it justice at all. It is an absolutely beautiful venue. Trust me, just schedule a tour. But the real highlight is the staff. They go so far out of their way to make the day perfect, especially my boy Travis! He even reached out to our other vendors for us when the wedding got moved to rescheduled them. They think of everything! They provided whatever drinks we needed during the day when the bridal party was getting ready, they brought me and my husband food during cocktail hour so we could taste everything, they make a dessert station bar at my request with zeppoles, ice cream, dessert shots and more! All my guests said it was one of the most incredible weddings they had ever been to and even want to plan their future weddings there. It was also surprisingly reasonably priced for what you get compared to other venues we looked at. If you want to be worry-free and completely catered to on your day in a beautiful setting then this is the place!

Travis , Gina, Connie (florist) and Kirby made our postponed wedding event beautiful. Travis accommodated to all of our requests and was a major help during the planning process. We planned for an outdoor ceremony but shifted in doors last minute. Connie decorated it so nice. We had a wonderful ceremony. As a first time bride and groom trying to get all of our disorganized family lol on point was hectic but Gabby my bridal attendant was very supportive from morning to night. She was by my side and helped gather my bridal party and family the whole time. Kirby the maitre'd was a good guide during the reception. If anything went wrong i didn't know. Gina- was so easy to work with when planning our rehearsal dinner and after party. Our reception ended at 12:00am gathering all our clothes/belongings from the bridal suites immediately after was not so fun. As a bride I suggest to designate someone to gather all your belongings a head of time. Our belongings were secure in the bridal suite and its safe. Despite the madness that came along with the day our guests had a great time and told us the wedding and food were amazing.

My wedding was nothing short of AMAZING. To Travis and the Wilshire staff... I just want to say thank you! Thank you to you and your entire team and staff.  I cannot express enough how AMAZINGGGG everyone was in making my day perfect. Everyone, the Maitre D, the gentlemen who set up the tables, the wait staff, Gina at the restaurant, the women in the front office, everyone was present and helpful. Every single person that I encountered from the Wilshire Staff was beyond accommodating, professional and efficient!  I had so much anxiety in the beginning of my wedding planning because I wasn't pleased with the first venue I selected.  They hadn't necessarily done anything wrong, but there just was a feeling of unease that didn't sit right with me which caused me to search for other venues.  From the moment I met with you, you put a smile on my face and put me at ease from the start.  When we walked out that day from booking with you I exhaled the biggest sigh of relief I had in months!  And sure enough, when my big day came, you guys did not disappoint. Even my guests were raving about the impeccable service we all received and the attention to us as the couple didn't go unnoticed by them either.  As a first time Bride I had no real idea what to expect beyond the stories from other's experiences and most times those stories are worrisome. I must say that I experienced NONE of that on my day thanks to you guys.  The Wilshire Grand Catering is truly a team of top-notch, highly-skilled professionals and I owe it to all of you for making our special day a beautiful and seamless experience. Not a single thing went wrong, and if it did, I had no idea. The staff was amazing. I MUST give a very special, special thank you and acknowledgement to Gia, my Bridal attendant.  She was truly a lifesaver and was soooo on point!  She stayed by my side the entire day and made sure I didn't have a care in the world.  All Brides should experience an amazing experience like I did. I am forever grateful.

They were amazing to work with very accommodating and beyond helpful. Our wedding went smoothly with not even one hiccup. The vendors we used both band and photographer said it was one of the best venues they worked with and our guest have been praising the entire wedding. I would highly recommend Wilshire Caterers for weddings and other events to all friends and family.

The Wilshire team did a wonderful job handling our covid wedding. We were able to change our date easily and they helped us figure out a covid-compliant alternative to our initial plan. Being able to have our guests stay at the on-site hotel was great and the team was very accommodating to our set-up needs, allowing us to drop items off in advance and set up as early as we needed (it helped that there were no conflicting events that day). The day-of team was especially helpful and took care of things that we hadn't even thought of! I had been concerned about needing a day-of coordinator but the Wilshire team handled everything seamlessly. All of this being said, the venue itself is also STUNNING and our guests were so impressed with it from start to finish. If we were to have a second wedding we would definitely be back at the Wilshire!

The Wilshire Caterers venue & staff were fantastic! We were treated like royalty from the moment we arrived, which made our day that much more special. Joe'l from beginning to end made our wedding planning experience perfect! Her professionalism is above reproach. Her response to all of my questions and concerns, hands down the best! Angela, my bridal attendant, loved her! She was responsive, attentive and overall AWESOME! We couldn't have asked for a better location & team to share in our special day! P.S. The FOOD was excellent. We received nothing but compliments about it.

C If I could give this venue more stars I would and I haven't even been married yet. My wedding is for July 10, 2020 and I cannot say enough about the communication, accommodation and understand from this venue. I have been working with Joe'l who I have met with once (when booking). If she saw me on the street she wouldn't be able to pick me out of a crowd, even a small one. All my communication with her has been through email. Her response time is untouchable. She responds to emails immediately and I have sent my share so far. With a wedding approaching on July 10, 2020 and the nation in a state of emergency you can sense my stress level. After expressing these concerns with Joe'l she has made the necessary modifications that I have requested...NO QUESTIONS ASKED. I honestly cannot say enough good things about her. Her professionalism and ability to run a venue is what makes me most excited about in choosing this venue of hundreds to choose from. I plan on writing many more 5 star reviews in my future. The Wilshire truly made our wedding day. If you are thinking about them for your own, stop reading this and book them now - you WILL NOT regret it! First, the staff are incredible. You and your partner will be supported from start to finish. We never felt so special as we did when we were being taken care of by their team. From the moment we emailed with John, the Catering Director, shortly after our engagement we knew we were in good hands. He answered all of our (many) questions promptly and positively, and helped steer us in the best direction regarding everything from the cocktail hour to the after-party. We know the venue hosts events all the time, but John makes you feel as if you are his only client and he's there just for you. Kirby, our maitre 'd was THE BEST. Upbeat, super friendly, and engaged in even the smallest details of our day. And Angela, our bridal attendant was awesome! So friendly and helpful - she just took excellent care of us. She even stood outside with me in the cold to get help us capture some winter wedding shots. The most important part was that the staff - from those mentioned above to the bartenders, waitstaff, and more - took care of all of our guests (not just the bride and groom) and made sure that everybody had what they needed. They chatted with our DJ when the music was too loud. They had my dad's drink waiting for him at the bar as soon as he started walking up, and no guest dealt with a line while waiting for their own. They never left plates uncovered when guests weren't at their seats for dinner. Everything, big and small, was covered by this exceptional, experienced team. Of course, we can't stop there. The venue is as amazing as the staff. The rooms are beautiful and you can adjust the lighting to be almost anything you need. There are lovely, private bridal salons for you and your crew to enjoy while getting ready that day and a lot of pretty, different spaces to capture photos in. Plus! It's connected to The Wilshire Hotel which was a huge bonus for us. We didn't want to deal with shuttles and sad hotel after-parties at the end of the night. We wanted our guests to feel like they could literally roll from one room to the other (all while staying inside in the cold of December) and it was super convenient for everyone, including us! Lastly, the food! Not only will you not go hungry at The Wilshire, but your guests will rave about the quality (and quantity!) of food for days. I'm still dreaming about the cocktail hour and dessert cordials. Our guests said it was the best wedding they've ever been to, and we know that's largely in part because of The Wilshire. We can't thank the staff here enough for all they did for us, and any couple would be lucky to have them host their wedding!

Our daughter's wedding was held Saturday at the Wilshire Grand Hotel, catered by the Wilshire Caterers. There are not enough superlatives to describe the experience. We wanted to provide our most cherished and only child with a most memorable experience, without blowing the entire inheritance! John Bowes, the catering manager, patiently worked with us, shared his wealth of knowledge and experience, and helped us to do just that. He made even the most embarrassing questions easy to ask. Emails were answered promptly and clearly. Our captain, Kirby, and our daughter's bridal attendant, Angela, supervised a very well coordinated cadre of professional and most attentive staff members. We had many guests from Manhattan, Upper Westchester, D.C., and parts unknown, AKA, Colorado, Oregon and even PA. It certainly made it convenient for guests from more than ten states that the party was hosted in a hotel! I know that guests often schmooze the M & FOB, but so many of them told us it was the best or one of the best weddings they had ever attended. The selection of attractive party rooms, onsite well-appointed bridal salon and the lovely reception area all enhanced the experience. My husband would certainly feel I was remiss if I didn't mention the impressive array of premium liquors and liqueurs! Great food, great drink, great guests and a great staff that really knows how to pull it all together makes for one great party and we certainly had one!Read Less

Can not thank Joel, Junior, and Samantha enough! Joel was our girl from day one she answered a billion questions in a timely manor and was there every step of the way. The day and night was perfect. Our guests were all blown away from the amount of delicious food to the great hospitality from everyone.

My (now) Wife and I had our reception at your venue on December 1st and we were simply blown away by the entire experience.  Overall, it was such an outstanding day and we are so thrilled that your team executed flawlessly on such an important day for us.  Everything from top to bottom was just hands down amazing, but I did want to point out a few bright spots: The staff overall were just great to work with and the food was outstanding.  The bartenders and wait staff were very friendly and the chef executed very well with all the dishes that came out.  Junior and Angela were amazing hosts for us the entire evening.  It made the night so easy for us, having them there every step of the way.  They anticipated our needs and did so gracefully, as they had such a delicate touch is making sure every detail was executed against the entire evening.  We cannot thank these 2 individuals enough for their attention to details and for being such a pleasure to work with. John Bowes delivered an evening that Samantha and I will be talking about for the rest of our lives.  From the moment we met John, we knew we were in for a special treat - he is actually the deciding factor in choosing your venue for our event, as he has such an excellent Sales presentation.  Although he is an excellent Salesman, his delivery is even better.  He guided us into making the best choices for our evening and gave us direction on the right touches for the guest experience.  He was incredibly responsive, attentive, professional and just down right amazing.  In fact, we want to get married again just to work with John and have this experience all over! I cannot be more appreciative of John and his effort in delivering a spectacular night for us and our guests. Every person we have talked to has been raving about our wedding and we are just so thrilled to have chosen your venue for our wedding.  You have an amazing staff and you should be proud of them.

My husband and I are so incredibly happy that we chose Wilshire as our venue- we have nothing bad to say about it! From the very beginning, the staff members we talked with were amazing. The space is stunning, the food was amazing, and the service was top notch. All throughout the night, my guests were asking how we found this place because it was so amazing. As said before, the staff members were amazing. Joe'l answered all of my emails very quickly and made sure that we were doing well, had drinks, ate something, and were enjoying ourselves the whole night. She, and our bridal attendant Angela, made sure that the lobby and ceremony space looked amazing and made sure that my whole day went by smoothly- the whole day would not have come together if it weren't for them! Angela was there with me throughout the whole night. She helped me with everything from making sure I had the right picture frames for the lobby, to bustling my dress- she was BEYOND amazing!! There were many huge perks about this venue. There is a bridal salon downstairs in the basement where everyone was able to get ready, the hotel is connected to the venue, and the rooms are amazing, and there is a restaurant in the venue to use for an after party or a rehearsal dinner. We are so happy with our choice to have our wedding at Wilshire!!

We had our wedding last month at the Wilshire, and everything on that day was above and beyond our expectations. John and his staff are amazing and did everything in their power to make sure our day was absolutely perfect. From the moment we booked our date, John was there with everything we needed and was always very helpful. We didn't know what to expect when we started planning, but everything came together beautifully. Our guests loved the venue, raved about the food, and had a blast at our wedding. Choosing The Wilshire Caterers for our April 2018 wedding was easily the best decision we made in our wedding planning process! We fell in love instantly with the beautiful foyer, large and bright cocktail hour room and the breathtaking Grand Ballroom. From the beginning John B. was incredibly helpful with the whole planning process, and day of the rest of the staff was very professional. We, and our guests, had an amazing time. Portuguese/Italian Wedding.... We got married June 3 2017. I cant believe its been almost a year from the GREATEST day of our lives. We were married on premises and it was the best and smartest choice we could have made. The entire staff, but more importantly Joe'l and Angela are the stars of this great venue. They made every one of dreams come true. Let me start with the food, being a Portuguese/Italian family that was our number 1 concern. Rest assured the food is PHENOMENAL and PLENTY. Second, the decor was amazing, we lucked out for a fantastic day for an outside wedding, but they assured us that if we had rain they would take care of things for us indoors. The staff is truly amazing, I cant say it enough. Third, Joe'l is the greatest person you can work with, every request we had big or small she said yes to. I still cant believe some of things we got to do/have at our wedding. Angela was our bridal attendant, she is on the same greatness path as Joe'l. She helped us have a fantasic wedding. We had a huge candy bar table (HUGE!!!) and she set it up for us. I felt so bad for her, bc we did get a little carried away. Angela and Joe'l helped us with everything, they made us feel so special and taken care of. Im telling you book the Wilshire Grand you will not be disappointed. If you know anything about Portuguese and Italians they are honest and will tell you to your face about any complaints they might have. This is the first time I never heard a complaint from our families, they loved it as much as we loved it. Im telling you, we still hear about our wedding from our friends and families to this day. Ill also admit we still talk about it all the time, its something we want to relive and because of the staff and great day we had, we will always have the wonderful memories of our special day at the Wilshire Grand. After looking at four venues for our daughter's wedding reception, we chose Wilshire Caterers without hesitation. It was the best decision we made. We worked with our coordinator, John and he satisfied our every need or concern. Anything you asked of him was taken care of and done with taste. John was very accommodating and made the day perfect for all of us. Wilshire Caterers is not only beautiful but the food there is delicious as well. All our guests said the ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner were the best that they had ever attended. Since we had the most perfect April weather, the guests were able to sit outside and enjoy their food and take in the ambience. The service was impeccable throughout the reception. The main ballroom was lit perfectly and our tables were set up just as we expected. The staff brought the bride and groom an array of food for them to sample after the ceremony so that they could bond and have some quiet alone time together before dinner. It is without hesitation that we would recommend Wilshire Caterers for any special event. A five star rating is not enough for them. We would give them Ten Stars!

We were floored by what a great job the Wilshire did for our wedding. We were looking for a wedding venue that could provide class but cater to the fact that we were not looking for a standard wedding reception. They were on point. The Loft space was perfect for us, we added the lounge furniture for a club feel. The food was outstanding. My foodie friends sought me out to compliment the food. John Bowes was our point of contact, and that man is amazing. He will take excellent care of you. I highly recommend this venue.

From the moment we walked into the Wilshire we knew that we wanted to have our wedding there. John was great to work with. He helped us get a day where we would be the only event and helped us get to the price point we needed. The cocktail hour was amazing. The amount of food and space was phenomenal. We loved that it had seating for over 150 guests. The ballroom was stunning and was plenty big for our 200 guests. Our guests are still raving about the food. The bridal attendant made sure that I had everything I needed all night. This venue was absolutely amazing and I highly recommend it for weddings!

We had our wedding here the first weekend of December. This place is amazing and so incredibly professional, they know exactly what they are doing and were always willing to help every step of the way. We worked with Joe'l from the start and she was by my side until the very end of the night. She was incredibly responsive to all my phone calls and emails, and her and the entire Wilshire team made the entire night run seamlessly. Neither me nor my family had to worry about a single thing - they literally took care of everything and we just got to enjoy our special day. I am so happy we had our wedding here and so thankful for everyone at Wilshire who put in so much work to pull off such an amazing day!!

Everyone at the Wilshire was wonderful. Every second of the day went perfectly. John was marvelous with helping us to coordinate the food, the schedule for the day of the wedding, and everything else in between. The bridal attendant, Matre D, and staff also treated us so well and were very accommodating. The food was incredible. The venue is beautiful and I strongly recommend couples to go here.

We had our wedding on Saturday 11/11/2017 and I can honestly say it was the best day of our lives. The Wilshire Caterers was absolutely amazing. The place is just beautiful. The staff is phenomenal. Everyone RAVED about the food. The plates are reasonably priced. Joe'l, the events coordinator was helpful and accommodating since the moment we met with her to book our wedding. She was there the night of our wedding and made sure everything was perfect and it was. Angela, the bridal attendant was wonderful, as well as Junior, Kirby, and the rest of the staff. The cocktail hour stations were absolutely astonishing as well. The staff was accommodating with our families and made sure everyone was satisfied. I can't say enough good things about this place. I, ONE THOUSAND PERCENT, recommend this place for your wedding. I'll never forget it.

The Wilshire was beyond all our expectations for our wedding. As soon as we visited the venue and met with Joe'l, we knew we wanted to book it. Joe'l was AMAZING to work with and truly made the wedding planning experience so smooth. She answered all my questions, was very patient with us if we changed our minds or were indecisive, and made sure we had the time of our lives on our wedding day! My bridal attendant, Angela, was fantastic, making sure I had everything I needed, and was where I was supposed to be at the right time. The maitre d's, Kirby and Junior, we phenomenal as well. We had our ceremony in their beautiful outdoor space; however, if we had needed to have it inside due to weather, they set it up beautifully as well! The food was fantastic, the desert room was outrageous (in a good way!) and the service was impeccable. I could not have been happier that we had our wedding here - it was the most perfect day and not without the help of all the staff at the Wilshire.

4/23/17 Joe'l is a Star... she was always available to answer any questions we had and was swift at responding to our emails. The day of our wedding... the entire staff was so very organized and directed us step by step to make sure we didn't have any lag time lost in between. Junior, one of our Maitre'd s - he made sure the reception was executed as structured. Samantha, our bridal attendant...did an exceptional job... she had everything I needed before I could finish asking for it. Everyone is STILL talking about the cocktail hour... we hope we can attend a wedding here one day so we can have that experience as we were out taking photos. I can't think of one thing that went wrong. The price was right, the staff was great, the food was fantastic...(FANTASTIC) and our wedding was everything we hoped for.

Overall, we had a great time at our wedding but there were a few details that we found to be disappointing on the day of. Pros: Everyone enjoyed the cocktail hour, as there was plenty of variety, and the ice luge/martini bar was especially a hit Cons: The lighting in the ballroom was hideous. We asked for natural, soft white lighting many times before the wedding day, but on the day of the wedding, bright pink and purple lighting was used. When we asked them to turn it off, they said that they couldn't. It was also very dark, and our videographer complained that the video would not come out well as a result (hoping that's not actually going to be the case when we get our video back). We also only wanted white flowers to be used, but it appears that the staff put out the purple flowers from the wedding the day before ours. I could see how they thought they were doing us a favor, as the flowers were still fresh, however, it was not in our wedding color palette. For future brides/grooms, I would just advise to go over all of the details in writing with the venue staff, and designate a bridal party or family member to check on the execution of all of these details on the day of the wedding.

From start to finish this venue did everything and more. John was helpful every step of the way with my obnoxious amounts of e-mails and always did everything in his power to make me smile. The day of John and Angela (my bridal attendant) were an allstar squad. Angela got me in and out of my corset backed dress (twice!) and was by my side all night and made sure I always had champagne in my hand. I would have been lost without them. They made me feel like royalty and made the day even more special than I ever dreamed. Days later and everyone is still raving about the food, the service and the venue itself. Everything was excellent. The room was decorated to our exact specifications. Mr. Bowes was very professional and friendly throughout the process.

Having my wedding at the Wilshire Grand was the best decision I ever made! It was truly the most perfect venue and I couldn't be more grateful for the staff there. John was a delight to work with and helped me make all of the best decisions when it came to the wedding. We had a possible rainy weekend (okay fine it poured) but we were really wanted to have the cocktail hour outside in the slight chance of clear skies. John was so supportive and helped us to weigh the pros and cons. In the end we had the cocktail hour inside and he made sure every detail was just perfect and the entire room was beautiful. Everything went smoothly and exactly as planned. I never even noticed the staff whizzing around in and out of their places. And on top of it all, Angela was our bridal attendant and was 10000%! She was fantastic, my husband always had a drink ready and she was always there to help me when I needed. The food was incredible from start to finish. In addition we went to the hotel restaurant afterwards for a an after party which was extremely convenient because they closed down the space and let us continue our night until 2am. And having the hotel attached helped us seal the deal for picking the Wilshire! We are so lucky to h ave found such a perfect place and to get all of the love and support from John and his staff. Thank you thank you thank you 100,000 times again!

We had our wedding rehearsal dinner & blocked rooms here!! Planning everything was a breeze! The food at the dinner was fantastic and the hotel is beautiful our guests loved it!

I've worked in the Wedding Industry for 5 years so I've seen many venues. The Wilshire is hands down the best venue to have a wedding reception at in all of NJ. The professionalism, service, and food is top notch! Junior helped us plan our wedding and was always very accommodating. They went above and beyond to ensure our day was flawless. This is an amazing venue with amazing team!!!! We had our wedding at The Wilshire on 7/15/16 and it was nothing short of amazing! The director of catering, John, and his team did everything I could have ever imagined to make our special day perfect! We received numerous compliments from our guest about decor, the service they received and everyone loved the food! John and Junior were beyond helpful & attentive to any questions or concerns we had We could not have chosen a better place for our special day!

We had our wedding in the loft space (The Loft @ 350), which has recently been redone and is even more beautiful than before - definitely not your typically venue space, which is what we were looking for (white stacked stone wall, exposed ceilings). The food was excellent - everyone has been raving about the mac & cheese bar at the cocktail hour! John was amazing to work with and very accommodating, he made the process very easy!
