Everyone I worked with was so nice, patient, and friendly!! I had a couple people I emailed back and forth with and they were all so nice and never made me feel like I was a bother. The videographer I had come to capture our wedding day was also extremely kind and patient. She always told us what she was gonna do and how she wanted us to walk or pose and for most of the day I honestly never saw her as she was just somewhere quietly capturing our special day. At one point I needed to find her and I couldn’t cause she was just so good at being out of sight and out of mind :). I absolutely loved my experience with Toast Wedding Films and honestly wish I could work with them again as they made the whole process stress free and again everyone was always so kind!

The decision to hire a videographer was one I contemplated all throughout my wedding planning process. After seeing my parents wedding video and all the people captured who are no longer with us I decided to book a videographer with the intention of creating a video focused on us, our guests and the small moments we would have between them throughout our day. During the planning process the Toast representatives were communicative and thorough in assessing what I wanted from my wedding video. Toast out sources local videographers and I found it disconcerting throughout the planning process that our local videographer repeatedly missed our zoom meetings to discuss the video and the day. I was assured by the toast representatives that the videographer was aware of what mattered to me in my video and I didn’t need to be concerned that I had not spoken with him. Unfortunately that was not the case, my videographer Peterson clearly did not understand the moments I wanted captured and delivered very cookie cutter content with little to no interactions with our guests captured. Upon seeing the first version of our video I was devastated that the majority of the video was slow motion videos of us posing for our formal photos and none of us and the moments we shared with our guests. The Toast reps were very apologetic and confirmed that the videographer did not capture many of the moments I had been specific in the questionnaire I wanted to be captured. While the toast team worked very hard to produce a final product we could be happy with they could not go back and get the footage that was missed. We were able to come to a final product that I was satisfied with, however the gross negligence and miscommunication between Toast the videographer cannot be ignored. Investing in a wedding video is no small decision, and it’s one I went into very intentionally and sadly the video did not capture the moments and essence of the day I was so clear that I wanted. While I was impressed with the toast teams dedication to creating a final product I was happy with I would caution anyone booking to make sure you meet with both the toast representatives and the day of videographer prior to your wedding day to ensure that everyone is on the same page and committed to capturing your day the was you envision it being captured.

Great communication before the day. Our videographer worked so hard and captured all of the special moments during the day, and also shot some great footage of the Portsmouth area that was used in the video. Would definitely recommend to others!

We have nothing but wonderful things to say about our experience with Toast. From the start, our project manager Gail was incredibly attentive and helpful in nailing down the details that were must-haves for our wedding video. A few days before our wedding day, we found out that our assigned videographer was no longer available, but they instantly had another videographer ready to work with us. Dorena, our videographer, was absolutely amazing on our wedding day!! We took the golf cart out into the trails at Pinehills and she was willing to do whatever it took to get the best footage. We received our highlight video very quickly, and the first draft of the video was ready so much faster than we anticipated! We are so in love with our wedding video from Toast! I can’t wait to recommend Toast to our newly engaged friends.
