They were professional in communication, arrival at the venue, and even the post capture process. We appreciated that there was an in-depth pre-wedding questionnaire that they took seriously and even allowed multiple rounds of edits afterwards.... The person who taped us was friendly and dressed appropriately.
We elected to have a highlight film and a documentary edit for our wedding. The highlight film was fantastic, which is a testament to their post production considering the actual video capture was horrible. In the documentary edit and in the raw footage(we paid extra for this) a significant portion of the wedding was captured from the waist up and that was the only shot available. There were even times during the first dance, father daughter dance, and mother son dance where the subject would move out of frame multiple times. There were also times that the main subject would be blurry(bride walking down the aisle) and a bridesmaid speech didn't have audio captured. Note that there was time given for appropriate setup, a timeline provided in advance, and we even paused for a couple minutes to make sure a groomsman's microphone was setup correctly before proceeding in his speech.
Even though they did a great job in all other aspects, we feel the actual video captured is most important since it's not something that can be redone or touched up later.
After this feedback was received, the owner was receptive in hearing our issues and apologized (which we appreciated). Ultimately, he refunded us $350. We felt this was a low offer for a refund but, at this point we were exhausted from the process and didn't want to pursue the issue any further. After spending $3000 for a once in a lifetime moment that many family members who weren't able to attend didn't enjoy viewing, we feel strongly that anybody considering toast wedding films look elsewhere.
