Toshi has an artists eye and really blew our minds because of how easily he seemed to capture the beauty of our day. my first time using a professional photographer. He is very helpful with poses and what to do when taking photos. He also took our wedding day photos and they were absolutely beautiful. I honestly was a little nervous seeing them because my husband got pretty hammered by the end of the wedding lol but thankfully, the photos still came out amazing. I got teary eyed looking at them. Toshi was able to capture all the moments with my family and friends. Something that I will keep for a lifetime. I'm so thankful to have these photos for memories. I highly recommend Toshi and would use him again!

On the day of our portraits session, Toshi and Gloria were very punctual, and very helpful during the whole time. Toshi gave us a lot of ideas for loving portraits, and also captured lots of candid moments! The photos were beautifully edited and turned around quickly too. When we received them, the position, lighting, etc - everything was perfect! We were able to get a ton of beautiful photos from the session with Toshi!

time and was so friendly. He’s got a great positive energy about him that both put me at ease but also made him very fun to work with. Things in the bridal suite were hectic, but Toshi would help in any way he could - from letting people in, assisting my videographer or even assisting my bridal party in finding the suite! I really appreciated his helpfulness. My husband and groomsmen also had a blast with Toshi as they got ready! The guys were a bit of a hot mess but Toshi rolled with the jokes and captured all the fun! During the ceremony and reception, he gave great directions without being overbearing and interrupting the moments. When I saw all of the photos, I couldn’t even believe he took some of the angles that he did because we could hardly tell that he was there! Same for our reception, he took great pics without ever being in the way. He took bride and groom photos during cocktail hour and gave us great direction to make sure that we didn’t look stiff as a couple. He even noticed small details like if my hand looked stiff or if I was at an awkward angle so that I could adjust myself. NOW FOR THE PHOTOS: Oh my goodness I was ECSTATIC when I saw all of our photos. Absolutely beautiful! His style is definitely that of a storyteller and it felt like we were reliving the best day of our lives when we went through them. The colors, the use of light, the perspective - he nails it! He’s a truly talented photographer and I don’t think we could’ve picked anyone better.

e about their respective styles. Toshi responded first (almost immediately!) with answers and set a great tone that continued throughout our time working with him. Because we were planning from Oregon, he made sure we chatted on the phone before booking to ensure our vision was something he could deliver. This was immensely helpful! As our first marriage, we had no idea what we were doing and his guidance was invaluable. Once we got to Hawaii, we met up for coffee to get to know him better, discuss the order of ceremony, the shot list, and other details. He thought of everything, showed up early, and was just generally always on top of things. As for the day of: a total dream. Toshi met us where we were getting ready, had an awesome eye for emotional moments we would never have thought of (both of our moms grinning proudly as we emerged in our finery), and helped keep everything running smoothly. Every single guest (!) at the wedding came up to me afterward to share how wonderful he was, and how unobtrusive he managed to be. He didn’t bat an eye about photographing a same sex couple, made no attempt to force us into preconceived gender roles for portraits, and never suggested we do any cheesy poses (which we never talked about, but were so glad to skip). Post-wedding, I’m convinced that Toshi is actually three people, because it seems impossible that he was able to get us hundreds of gorgeous photos in a week - but he did! They’re breathtaking, and while wedding planning is the biggest hassle, I cannot recommend anyone more highly than Toshi for making things easier and giving you beautiful memories.

Our schedule was hectic but he made sure everything was on point, and he listened to all our requests (I only had a few, but the now Mrs had a lot more). He gave us suggestions about the flow of the day, and it went super smooth. I have totally no regrets going with him as our photographer!

st fun I’ve had in my life, with a few bumps (unrelated to Toshi), our wedding reception was the most hilariously awesome party I’ve ever had! Toshi was so professional and fun from the first time we met. He made sure that both brad and I felt comfortable and talked with us for hours to make sure that he understood exactly what we wanted. He didn’t make us feel like we were a nuisance even though I wanted to go over all the details of what the video and photography would include. He had great ideas from hearing our some of our stories and made our love story really come to life. He blew us away with his attention to detail and timeliness. He was able to encompass our comedic personalities to the T and even got Brad to open up about PDA. I couldn’t be happier with the results and even now, I can’t stop watching all the videos!! Thanks Toshi for all your hard work and fantastic results!!

He gave us recommendations, and because of our tight schedule from the ceremony at the Four Seasons in Kolina to the reception, we were able to pick a location nearby and do a sunset photo tour without rushing. We met a few days before our ceremony and talked for a few hours, and we were able to share what we were looking for more in detail. The day of, he was there early and basically took care of everything for us! Even our planner was surprised (I think she was new to the area because she didn't know much about parking and where our guests could stay). We loved how our photos came out, and the day went so smoothly. I quickly learned how important it is to have a good photographer because they are a key part of the flow of the day. Fortunately, Toshi was the best for us, and we are very happy we went with him. If you're not sure, go with him!
