Transformative Psychotherapy, LLC
Effective communication is the answer you will hear most when you attend a 50th+ anniversary party. What does this mean? This is what you will be learning in pre-marital therapy. We will talk about the seven steps to making a marriage work and about what gets in the way, which is Criticism, Contempt, Defensiveness and Stonewalling. When I work with couples in pre-marital or post-marital counseling, I teach the principles of Dr. John Gottman's work (Gottman.com) which is a research based approach to strengthening relationships. My practice is on the Columbus/Westerville border. I'd love to hear from you. Lets plan your future together. Marriage is a long-term investment and the odds of success are more assured if you have taken the time to really get to know your partner.

What is important to me is being there before the two of you are about to take one of the most important steps in your lives. I am a holistic counselor who has been in practice as a psychotherapist or social worker since 1998. My undergraduate degrees were completed first at The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising and then Antioch University of Santa Barbara. My graduate degree is from John F. Kennedy University in Pleasant Hill, CA. Since 2010 I have been licensed to practice in Ohio. Life is a journey and if it is played out mindfully the roads will be easier to navigate
