The staff at Tuxedo Avenue were wonderful to work with! They really take the time to personally address any issue, if there are any and make sure that everything is fixed in a timely manner. We worked with Erica and she was an absolute joy to work with! We will definitely be coming back to rent Tuxes from them in the future.
It was convenient that it was located right next to the bridal dress shop. My husband and his guys looked great in their tuxes. The tuxedo consultant Cindy was great. She was really friendly, personable, and helpful with the decisions for the accessory package. Took her time with an indecisive bride.
We bought my husband's tux but wanted his tie and pocket square to match the guys so when we rented the tuxes they let us rent just the tie and pocket square for just ten bucks. It was really helpful.
As the bride who purchased a Dress from the Bridal Warehouse, Tuxedo Avenue gave us the Groom's Tux for a fabulous deal.
I was able to go in and pick out the tuxes, colors, and ring bearer's tux. Once I filled out the paper work and chose the colors, my husband only had to go in with this groomsmen and get measured.
Trust me ladies, you will want to make their decisions for them. You are coordinating the wedding, after all.
What could have been a long afternoon for them, they only spent 30 minutes getting measured and then were able to go out for lunch.
It was quick and painless.
Very easy to get an idea what they will end up looking like because they had floor models of all tuxes and even pulled the color vest that I wanted and compared it to the floor model.
Just make sure they write down EVERYTHING you pick out and say because their memory of your encounter will not help out your groom unless the shop took notes on your order.
I enjoyed picking out the tuxedos and the staff was helpful initially, but that is about where the good things end. All but two of our tuxedos came in late and had to be picked up the day of the wedding because the wedding date had been written down incorrectly in our file. They had a hard time figuring out the pricing all along, refused to take one of our groomsmen's measurements by phone who lives in Alaska while serving in the Air Force even though we checked to make sure he could just call in his measurements before we chose to rent from them. The staff was extremely unhelpful and unapologetic when most of our wedding party did not have a tux to wear the day before the wedding. It was a battle to get a very small discount that should have been immediately offered when the store breached our contract and did not have the tuxedos in on time. Very disappointed my groom and father had to deal with all of this the day before and day of the wedding, as well as weeks following the wedding - it really changed the mood of the entire party.
If you go here you have to ask for Chuck. He was more than accomidating and help us so much. Great value and wonderful customer service.
The grey tuxedos with navy tie/vest looked great in our wedding. The shop was very friendly up until the day before the wedding. The day before the wedding (after we picked up the groom's tux) they wouldn't release the last 2 tuxes because they said there was $100 left on the groom's tux. Why they didn't charge us earlier that day, I do not know. We went in several weeks earlier to pay for all the tuxes including the grooms, but they failed to charge us for everything. It created a stressful situation on our way to the rehearsal dinner.
he's awesom
My husband rented his and his groomsmen tuxedos from here. They did not have any problems with sizes when they picked them up the day before the wedding. Tuxedo Avenue called us a month out from the wedding to let us know who still needed to come in and be sized. They also called us twice to just ask how things were going in preparation for the big day.
Great deal to get all 10 of my wedding party's tux from.
They were very friendly and helped in choosing the jackets.
They had quite a few items (vest, jackets) to choose from, but we had to have so many men rent tux to get a better deal, which we didnt have. They were a little to pushy for my taste.
We decided to rent the guys tuxes here since we wanted brown suits and we liked the look of theirs the most. We were ridiculed for picking brown and then all of our groomsmen complained about how they were treated when they went in to be measured. I hate now that we gave them so much money and we hated the service so much. I wish we had gone somewhere else even if the suit looked a little different.
Only 4 stars because one of the pants were ripped, which they fixed right there and it was fine, they matched colors perfect and were very nice!
When we went in to rent the suits the lady was extremely short with us. Another issue, we told the lady that we were having an out of town wedding but she basically said too bad, the suits are only guaranteed the day before the wedding. We were already out of town so one of the groomsmen had to stay and get the suits and he actually missed the rehearsal dinner due to this. We ordered the suits 2 months in advance. When the suits did come in, the best mans suit had huge dark stains all over it. On the jacket and pants. They told him they couldn't do anything about it and that he would have to drive to Elizabethtown, KY to get another suit from that store. Good thing it was on the way to the wedding location. Also, when you rent a suit, they take a copy of your drivers license which I am not comfortable with. When asked what they do with the paper after the suit is turned back in, they said we shred it. When 3 out of 5 guys returned their suits, they couldn't find their paperwork. Not a good experience when your personal information was taken.
My husband has always gotten his tuxedo rentals from Tuxedo Avenue, so there was no question as to who would provide them for our wedding day. Overall the tuxedos were wonderful, but my husband's shirt had a hole in it, cufflinks were missing and 2 pairs of shoes didn't fit. However, they were willing to work with us to get all of the matters fixed.
Tuxedo Avenue got 2 out of our 6 tuxedo rentals correct. They did fix the issues quickly but were unwilling to issue any sort of compensation for the mistake and inconvenience. Picking tuxes out was a smooth process and most everyone who worked at Tuxedo Avenue was very pleasant, but tux orders need to be double checked before giving them to customer. My dad had to go to the store 2 hours before the wedding to get a new jacket because he was given the wrong size! I would recommend Tuxedo Avenue but have ALL wedding party members try on tuxes BEFORE leaving the store.
The prices for the tuxedo rentals was good but they did not fit all that well. Make sure you CHECK the tuxes thoroughly before you take them home.
everything was ok except we had problem with the renting but they got it cleared up
Nice selection, very helpful.
1 of the guys tuxedos came ripped and 2 others ripped during the course of the evening.
We ordered the most expensive tux they have....$200/for each guy to rent. When the tuxes came in they called us. We called each guy and told them to pick up. One of our guys went in. They had ordered him the wrong size. Another groomsman went in...they had sub-let his tux out to another wedding!!! This was only 2 days before OUR wedding. He drove all the way from Mt. Washington to pick it up too. They never called & let neither my husband or I know about the sub-let of the tux. Would NOT recommend to use them. The quality of the suit was very nice, but it should be for $200 just to rent it! They employees were often rude to the guys & made them wait 30 minutes to an hour just to measure them. The sub-let of the tux was the last straw. Not worth the stress! I recommend using Sam Myer's....they are local & their warehouse is local. (My sister used them & they were perfect! No Issues!!)
None of guys tuxes fit right. The jackets were too small, the shirts were way too big and had stains and were missing buttons.
I had the worst experience with this vendor...we ordered 9 tux's from them...only 3 came back that fit. one of my groomsmen (my brother) had to wear his suit bc there was no time to fix it and his sleeves were too short! managament is horrible....BRIDES, dont take the chance.
