This review is only getting a 1 because I had to rate it something to write a review. (I would really rate it a 0!) WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! One of our coworkers had just lost her grandmother and I pooled my units money together to purchase... her a nice gift. When I purchased the gift, it had no tag and I was given no receipt. It specifically said "grandmother" on it. When speaking with my supervisor, I discover she had raised her so she was more like a mother to her. I drove an hour to go back to the store to exchange it, but the owner, Jan, was home sleeping so I could not at that time. The lady working stated she did not know how to do it but assured me I could find my coworker something else and return when Jan was present for the return. I then tried again today, calling ahead, speaking to Jan to make sure she was would be there due to the drive. After a half hour into driving to Hobart, Jan called me back stating she was "now" going out of town and could not provide a refund without a receipt when I was not given one because, I quote "we know what our merchandise looks like." Now my unit is out $40 over a bereavement gift. I think there's a special place for people like this. I know many people who live in Hobart, including coworkers who went in on this gift, and they will be finding a new flower shop. Being so heartless towards someone who lost their mother will cost you a lot of business, way more than the price of the return to give my coworkers back their money.
