We contracted for specific pieces to match our 1920s-inspired aesthetic, including two matching leather tufted couches, but received two mismatched ones instead. They sent an extra coffee table we didn’t order, charging us for it, and the two glass-and-brass coffee tables promised to be identical were different sizes. The cane chairs we selected were suddenly “unavailable” on the wedding day, replaced with Peacock chairs that clashed with our vision—no reimbursement offered. Their website misleadingly listed items as available, adding to the frustration. Communication was poor, with little accountability for these errors. Delivery was another issue: they only deliver within 50 feet of their truck, requiring an exorbitant fee for setup inside the venue. Since most venues aren’t that close to parking, this felt like a cash grab. Additionally, their 10 p.m. pickup cutoff for Saturday night weddings is unreasonable—our event ended at 11:30 p.m., and they charged us outrageous fees for the late pickup. While the correct pieces were in decent condition, even those came with issues. Their votive holders, advertised as “clean,” arrived with melted wax bottoms, yet they charge $10 per holder for cleaning if you use real candles—a laughable fee given the holders cost less than $6 each. We opted for faux candles to avoid this. They also sent a broken vintage balance scale, meant to complement our theme, with no refund. Our wedding planner, appalled by their unprofessionalism, has vowed never to work with them again. The excessive fees, inaccurate deliveries, and lack of accountability made this experience a nightmare. We strongly dissuade other couples from using Uniquely Chick Vintage—save yourself the stress and find a more reliable vendor.

imes and they made my vision come true for my wedding reception! I did not want to purchase any of my decor as I felt it would be wasted after the fact, and that’s when I found Uniquely Chic! An amazing way to get high quality decor for rent, and best part is they set up and take down everything themselves the day of the event ! It doesn’t get better than them. I will absolutely be using them again for future events and would highly recommend them to anyone having a wedding or event!!

PAGES of their rental policies before booking because they will be aggressively enforced. I went with them because I wanted candelabras as my centerpieces. They failed to provide necessary details (ie. candles not included, cleaning fees, they do not set-up most decor items) during our initial call or as part of the invoice. That information was only disclosed verbally a month before my wedding. A little additional guidance on their part would have been helpful. The company policy does not allow you to remove rental items after 60 days. You must swap or exchange for something else. I suggest that in the future they have the courtesy to check in with brides prior to the 60 day cut off to finalize rentals. All of my other vendors sent me reminders and check in emails prior to their required due dates. I called the owner to see if we could come to some sort of compromise and she was very rude, condescending, and unprofessional. Our wedding day fell on a rainy New England fall day (just like almost every weekend this year) and I was notified 3 days later while on my honeymoon that a lounge set was stained and had to be reupholstered and that they already tried to charge my card for damages. I was unable to see any proof of professional cleaning which apparently was done in house. When my planner expressed issues with some of the items that were delivered, specifically that their candles didn't fit in their candelabras, they suggested that we invest in candlestick adhesive or tacky putty for the future. this note would have been helpful to know BEFORE my wedding, not 4 days later.
